Definitely enjoying the content. Painted tools all one color, white or black or orange, doesn't matter. The utility of it is a few things I can think of: 1 no free advertising for the companies. 2 each brand picks some random garish color for their brand. Painting them unifies all the tools so you can mix and match to what meets your need without having to be distracted or TH-cam commentators making notes about the brands and colors. Especially helpful too if you happen to be color blind. 3 Your brand. If someone steals your video content it's pretty obvious who's content it is. 4 If you take your tools to a work site finding and identifying your tools is much easier as they will stand out. 5 "OCD" if everything is white it "feels" cleaner and if it gets damaged or dirty it's super easy to refresh the paint coat to get everything uniform again.

It can also be done with a box cutter, but isn't as convenient.

1:21 honestly I just love the aesthetic of white things, like ice white or matte white. S nice, especially in contrast with basically any color.

You have definitely inspired me to do mods to my Ender 3 and it's really enhanced my own 3D printing hobby. You're doing great and should keep on doing what you're doing!

Your ender modding vids inspired me to upgrade my own printer, and restart a obsession.
I’m an old geezer but i have cabinets with drawers with index plates on those drawers, so after using a tool, I just put it back in it’s place.
And guess what:
When I need a specific tool, i walk to the cabinets, open the drawer, and take the desired tool.
Is this rocket science??

The white paint is to remove any noticeable features from the tools. This prevents the appearance of a bias and companies searching for a brand deal.

I don't know, but it occurs to me that your tools are white since it will reduce the heat (?) Crazy idea, I know
They are white because you want to see them. Dark colours require a lot of cognitive focus to discern details. At least for me, I can easily find things in a bin if they are white, but if they are black - it's just a jumbled mess.
In addition. White brings out the forms and shapes of things, whereas black hides them. This is why cars are commonly in white, because their aerodynamic forms are more easily observed. This is also why white / gray is the default color for 3d modelling software, not black.
Lastly, I think it's probably an aesthetic choice. White is easily matched, same with black. When you buy things like red, yellow, stainless steel, they come in a million different variations of that color. For example, stainless steel across brands or even product lineups can differ! crazy right.

Instead of zip tie i recommend thin White Velcro. Zip tie loses color and goes yellowish.
My guess is white reflects the most heat so to prevent the tools from being too hot if you're working outside you simply chose to buy white ones. Not sure if it has that much of an effect vs other colored tools however.

You make everything white because it's easier to make things white than it is trying to paint the things from the 3D printer to match the existing objects. Plus, its nice to have a cohesive aesthetic throughout your home.
