Today we tour one of the most talked about mega mansions around, the 105,000 square foot Bel Air Estate famously known as 'The One.' Nile Niami spent the past 9 years building this masterpiece, and he put together a world class team to pull it off. I flew out to LA to spend the day at this amazing property, and interviewed Mike Pyle with Centurion LV regarding his experience as a contractor who did a TON of work on this home, and who worked directly with Nile Niami throughout the process. Some people are calling this house the biggest and most expensive home in the world. After my tour, I am surprised to report that it feels much more like a home than you would think. I hope you enjoy this exclusive tour of 'The One' and make sure to tune in for Part 2!
    See you next video!

Let this disaster be a warning to other developers. As proven here..... you can over build. Aside from over building, unforseen delays can push completion past the expiration date of the homes architecture. Over the past couple years we've moved beyond ultra modern architecture in the high end market. The developer failed to see the end of this trend when commissioned this design and started construction over seven years ago. This property will likely see a series of owners and tanking in value before being left vacant. Turning this monstrosity into an apartment or condo may prevent the building from being demolished to make way for ten new homes in twenty to thirty years. Worse yet, it could become an Amazon warehouse given it's excellent location for drone delivery.

If a person actually has an inner life, a modern home of this style is amazingly bleak. If you are ultra-wealthy and simply want a house to impress others, then this style is perfect. But to me it is a house, not a home. I would not want to live in a house that reminds me of an airport terminal.

The house never costed 500 million dollars. That number was a symbol, a concept, a fantasy, not a fact.
I've read the debt is about $165 million and that's an important number - it is real. And forget the 295 million price, it is way too much (but it is also a real thing, a highly optimistic goal for the auction, not just a fantasy - they are aiming about 3000 dollars/square foot). HOWEVER, I'd say that above 200 million dollars that ratio doesn't make sense. I think 170-190 million will be a good number for the auction. People will get their money back. The rest is history.

even though this house is huge ..the concept, compared to the Hadid house is excellent and very well thought out..it fits perfectly in the area and space provided, like a dress on a body, and I love that...one thing is missing though... a little sightseeing-tower..perhaps this can be addet? 3:37 plastic flowers are an absolut no-go, 6:11 the lampshade on the bedroom nightstand ist crooked.20:36 the beige blanket would look so much better if you lay it over a corner with one chair less

17:30 This may be one of the silliest questions I’ve ever heard in my life. Yes, for $500m, I most definitely want a room where I can spark up a cigar in my house. 😂 Haven’t you ever been to a smoking lounge in a hotel? Vegas? Airports? Even if it weren’t vented…. You couldn’t smell up “the whole house” if you tried with over 105,000 square feet. Maybe a small section of one wing, if you left the door open. Jeez man, live a little! Have some vision! 500M!!! Haha

Love the fresh perspective you put into this house tour (as opposed to Producer Michael's endless stream of meaningless phrases). This video is worth watching even if you have followed this property for a while! Not sure what it would look like exactly, but what could make this video even better could be some logical structure to the parts of the house you visit, eg. have some narrative through the whole tour/series.

The first tour which was done by Producer Michael could have been done better if Niles was not that excited and was in a hurry to go from here to there. But still considering the enormosity of the place, perhaps they have at least shown some of the best parts of it. To those who dislike the house and Niles, i dont get the reason why. Jealousy perhaps? If you have money you can do anything with it and nobody can dictate you what to do with it. As long as you do not kill other people in the process. Niles did not harm anyvof us. If he has a problem now, so what. Its his problem not yours. Stop the hate.
