  • How lucrative is it to become a luxury real estate agent? AND is it a good way to get rich?
I wanted to find out, so I hit up some of New York's most successful luxury real estate agents in the business to ask them: How do you get rich selling real estate? Is it really as lucrative as it seems from the outside? And what is it like selling houses to the world's wealthiest people?

Ryan Serhant didn't come from nothing, he was born into a wealthy family, his father is a former Vice Chairman of State Street Global Advisors and advisor to GoldenTree Asset Management. There is even a video tour of his parent's multimillion dollar estate in Colorado and he grew up in multimillion dollar home in a wealthy suburb of Boston. I have nothing against his upbringing but I wish he would drop the "I came from nothing" act, it is false.

Cold calling, door knocking, open houses…. every income producing activity works, nothing doesn’t. Consistency is the key. Now days almost all of my business comes from TH-cam. The guy that came from nothing and launched his own company in 2020 said something very inspirational. U asked him how hes done this and he replied with "How am I gonna do this". Most people would respond with "I don't know, I probably can't". His mindset is extremely good, I can just tell by how he talks.
