  • Hello Flowerhorn Lovers,
I welcome you all to my channel Blue Aquatics.
I hope you all are doing well.
Friends, nowadays Flowerhorn fish is considered a very unique fish because of its head, it's color, it's pearling and the main thing it responds to its owner, unlike other fishes. Due to all these qualities, a Flowerhorn owner never regrets keeping this fish in his tank.
Every Flowerhorn lover wants that the Flowerhorn which they own must be best among all other fishes and for this, they sometimes can spend a lot on their flowerhorn.
Like sometimes for increasing the color of their flowerhorn the owners can spend a lot on purchasing the colored feeds without knowing the type of flowerhorn and will their particular flowerhorn will get that particular color or not.
I had seen many flowerhorn owners purchasing unnecessary medicine kits without knowing the actual use of medicines.
Irrespective of spending so much on your flowerhorn if you guys follow all these tricks then I am sure that your Flowerhorn if having good genes can give you very good results.
Friends the flowerhorn which you are watching in this video, is new in this tank. I purchased him around 8 months back and this is his second day swimming in the tank. You can see in this video, he is not having good head neither good color. So I groomed this flowerhorn in my way and now you can see the results.
So I thought to share the details of grooming with all of you and guys all the details shared here are very easy to follow by every flowerhorn fish owner at their home.
So let's start with the grooming techniques and do apply all these techniques on your flowerhorn as well for getting good results.
    1. Deworming of your flowerhorn: Guys I mentioned this technique on the very first step because this is a very important part of your flowerhorn life. If you don't do deworming of your flowerhorn from time to time then chances of your flowerhorn fish getting sick are very high and once if your flowerhorn got sick then it will take many days to get fully recovered. This means all your hard work done on your flowerhorn will get zero and you have to start it from the initial phase.
    2. Don't overfeed: Guys Flowerhorns are considered as the biggest eaters. Whenever you see your flowerhorn it looks like that he is hungry. This does not mean that you can feed any number of pellets at any time. Always feed your flowerhorn twice or thrice a day and feed as little as possible. Feeding less will keep your flowerhorn healthy but if you overfeed your flowerhorn then there are great chances of flowerhorn health issues.
    3. Starve your flowerhorn once a week: On the water change day, starve your fish for the complete day and feed your flowerhorn the next day only. This will help in cleaning your flowerhorn stomach.
    4. Add a parrotfish or Sucker Catfish: Guys you must have always heard to add a parrotfish in your flowerhorn tank to make your flowerhorn active. But most of you haven't heard about keeping a sucker catfish in your flowerhorn tank.
    5. Water quality: Flowerhorn is a very special fish and loves to live in clean water. If you want to groom your flowerhorn well then you must maintain good water quality.
    6. Timing of lights: You must have noticed that suddenly if you switch on the aquarium light your flowerhorn gets scared and start showing stress lines.
    7. Water Temperature: Flowerhorn loves to live in water more than 26-degree Celcius and less than 32-degree Celcius. So this totally depends upon you that how you maintain this water temperature. If there is a sudden decrease in water temperature because of rain or other climatic effects then your aggressive flowerhorn will become submissive and will get scared a lot.
    8. Don't shift your flowerhorn from 1 tank to another: It is always advised that don't change your flowerhorn tanks. I had seen many flowerhorn owners who shift their flowerhorn sometimes in buckets for cleaning their tanks. Some people initially keep their flowerhorn in a small tank and after some time shift them in the big sized tank. Guys, this is never recommended.
    9. Space requirement: I use to tell you about this in most of the videos that the minimum tank size required by your flowerhorn is 3 feet in length. If you cant give this space to your flowerhorn then don't keep a flowerhorn fish.
Guys the flowerhorn you are watching in this video is currently not reached to its full potential. I am still doing a lot of effort on this flowerhorn to make him grow more along with all these points mentioned above. Guys just follow all these points explained and you can help your flowerhorn in grooming the best way.
I hope you like these points and will follow also them. For watching more such knowledgeable information do subscribe to my channel.
    Thanks

Why are u putting heavy load on 2 fishes..
I always suggest everyone to use sponge filter only in a flowerhorn tank..
Run top filter permanently and decrease the air flow..this is enough for both..

BUT FLOWERHORN can survive from 100ppm min to 1000 ppm maximum

      @Silentjustin06 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I would buy seachem metroplex and seachem garlic. Pour a small amount of seachem garlic juice into a small container with the seachem metroplex and mix it up. Just enough to soak the food in. Add food and let it soak until all the garlic is gone. Feed it to the fish for a few days and it should clear up. Done it a few times already. Flowerhorn eat very aggressive. Try to under feed more than over feed to keep them healthy. A 50% water change and vaccum every week.
