Flowerhorn Fish owner should never do these mistakes - must watch

Friends, keeping a fish aquarium at home is considered as the best hobby nowadays. If you stare at your aquarium for some time and watch your fishes swimming happily then I am sure you feel pretty relaxed. If you are new to this hobby then immediately start with this hobby and see your fishes will help you in getting relaxed.
Also as per the Vastu Shastra keeping a fish at home brings positive energy at home.
So guys this is all about the benefits of keeping Aquarium at home. Our today's topic is on the mistakes which a Flowerhorn owner should never do. So without wasting any time lets start with the mistakes one by one and understand it side by side.
1. If you are new to this hobby then never start with keeping Flowerhorn Fish first. Yes you heard it, right guys. Flowerhorn Fish is a very unique fish and wants owner attention. Being a new fish keeper you will ask everyone that which fish can be kept with Flowerhorn Fish and everyone will suggest you don't keep any fish with Flowerhorn.
2. Over Feeding Flowerhorn Fish: Guys never overfeed your Flowerhorn Fish or any other Fish. If you are feeding less then your fish growth rate will be slow but if you do overfeed then the growth rate will not become fast but will lead to several health-related issues. I had seen many flowerhorn owners who are feeding their flowerhorn without counting the number of pellets.
3. Not Cleaning the Tank Water: As you, all know that Flowerhorn Fish is a big eater thus produces a lot of waste. This waste then gets mixed in water and produces ammonia which effects Fish health. As the ammonia in water level increases your flowerhorn fish start to shrink its head and fade its color.
4. Never do a 100% water change: Guys this point is not only for the Flowerhorn Fish owner but for all the Fish lovers who keep fish as a wet pet at their home. Guys in every aquarium there is a proper nitrogen cycle maintained by the beneficial bacteria and upon changing the 100% water this cycle crashes. The crashing of this cycle leads to Fish death soon after changing the water.
5. Feeding High Protein Feed to increase Head size: Yes you heard it, right guys. Don't feed so much of high protein food to your flowerhorn fish just to increase its head size. Guys do you know that high protein food sometimes causes ill effects on Flowerhorn health. You must have noticed that some flowerhorn fishes have pimples on their head.
6. Feeding colored food to enhance the color of Flowerhorn: Flowerhorn Fish comes in many different types of colors and out of these Golden base and red colors are most common. So for increasing the color of flowerhorn to red I had seen many flowerhorn owners feeding unnecessary colored feeds to them without knowing that the type of flowerhorn which they have will be able to get this color or not.
7. Medication: Avoid putting unnecessary medication into the Flowerhorn tank. On a daily basis I attend so many queries in which people ask me about the medicine to put into the flowerhorn tank. If you had done weekly water change then just test your water. Check for the required amount of PH and TDS and if necessary then only add medicine else don't add.
8. Avoid putting gravel into the tank: As you know Flowerhorn Fish produces a lot of waste. So if there is gravel in the tank then all this waste will get stuck into the gravel which is very difficult to clean. I am not against adding gravel into the tank. In fact red chips added into the Flowerhorn Tank helps in enhancing the color of your Flowerhorn Fish.
9. Feeding live items: Nowadays so much of cross-breeding is going on especially with Flowerhorn Fish that even the medicines which were effective in treating flowerhorn diseases are not working anymore. So my concern is that on feeding any live item you are just inviting a parasite to enter into your flowerhorn stomach because you don't know what all infections that live item contain.
10. Changing water of Flowerhorn Tank with a mug: Yes guys you heard it right. Never change your flowerhorn tank water using a mug. By doing this either you will make your flowerhorn get into stress or might be possible that your flowerhorn attacks on your hand. See when you put anything into your flowerhorn tank then the flowerhorn immediately runs towards him thinking that it is food.
Guys I think these are enough points which you should keep in your mind if you are Flowerhorn Fish owner and never do this with your flowerhorn.
So summing up your Flowerhorn Fish is different from all other fishes so it's your duty to treat this pet differently.
