    Thank you very much for explaining most aspects of Movie Render, And besides it's important that adressing crashing issues due to hardware is very mean which we consider at last...     thank you so much. I'm very new at this. after it finished rendering, though i have set it to be in a certain folder, i only saw the png files but not the video itself. help?

    Hi Jon, i have an issue with the City Sample project from Epic Games where the game overrides doesn´t work well because the buildings are still low res in the background, and they get updated as we move the camera forward. I´ve searched all over the internet and didn´t find a solution. Any ideas what could be the reason for this issue? Thanks.

      When you don’t want motion blur 😊 but generally, I only use temporal

    12:51 Shouldn't "Path Tracer" be added?
    For example, I render layers separately (Path Tracer, Detail Lighting)
    And then I go to AfterEffect, experimenting with blending modes (diffused light, etc.)

      You don’t need to use the path tracer every time. Depends on the project :)

    On the preview version of UE 5.4 I could render in MRQ without shaders recompiling. Since the update to 5.4 release I can't fix this problem of shader (actually 1 particular shader called SrgbtoLinear). It takes way too long to render stuff from motion design projects. Any idea how I could fix this ? I tried deleted the material function related to srgtoLinear but no luck here..

      I think it’s a bug with the latest version of the motion, design tools. I was having the same problem which is why I didn’t cover it here. Stay tuned :-) I’ll be making a tie on the motion, assign tools when it’s ready to go

      I can certainly think about it :) What are you looking to know? Long story short, I have two 3090s and the Intel I9 12th generation. I’m at the airport as I’m writing this so I can’t check right away.

      @@JonJagsNee I want to buy new graphic card, before unreal I was only on Mac. Now, I render cinematics with unreal, on windows with an old vfx machine. Currently I have a intel xeon e5-2687W v4 12 core and one rtx 3060 ti xD.

      Does the same thing but I like the post process volume because multiple cameras can help

      ​@@JonJagsNeei spent a day trying to make a curved bg like that , it always have a line in the curve , whatever I do I couldn't get rid of it , how can I do it ?

      @@decathemaster4912 send me an email and i can send you mine if you want. I would create that bevel shape in blender / C4D and make sure the normals are not faceted

    Amazing Jon. Quick question you may or may not know the answer to; what are your colour space settings if you're working on a macbook laptop? I've heard some people say using REC709A works but unforuntely the ACES 1.2 config does not have REC709A, so I am at a bit of a loss. I've been mostly colour grading on my PC because of this, but would like to use my laptop. Thoughts?

      Sadly I don’t know Mac but I’m gonna be deep diving into the new aces stuff with 5.4 soon. Tbh, I prefer using the config files from GitHub over the unreal provided files. I didn’t mention this in this TH-cam video because there is technically a workaround in engine but I don’t like how it’s implemented. Anywhooo… stay tuned 🙌🏻
