You know what I want? I want them to tease Batman kinda like how they teased Superman on Supergirl. I imagine Oliver about to fall off a building and then we just see a black glove reach down and catch him. Then later Oliver just mentions him as "some guy in a bat costume". That's all in need for Batman on the CW.
RawTurkeyPVP I think batman beyond should be added to the cw, not Bruce's batman, think about it! They could say Bruce Wayne was batman a while ago and is now retired. Now the teenager (his name escapes me) is batman beyond, with all the newer gadgets and such
RawTurkeyPVP his name is Terry Mcginnis , his story happens in a futuristic setting (2050) , there is a chance they can do it though considering Mon-El is coming back from the 31st century and most propably we might get a live action LEGION show where they can bring Batman Beyond .
Been waiting for your reaction. This was an awesome episode. Arrow is so damn good. It's ten steps ahead and all the shows don't even know what game we are playing yet. Also that name drop of Bruce made me go crazy.
Dave QM we won't see batman in the arrowverse. It's almost impossible. There's the gotham show, the movies and I don't think that we should trust the arrow writers with Batman.
Oliver:"if something like this happens again punch him in the nose find the biggest one in the group and they'll leave you alone" *Aaron walks out of room hears what Oliver said walks in* *punches Eric in the noise* Eric:"WTF!!" Aaron:"IM Blind Wave leader now!"
I don't mind Oliver "quitting" Green Arrow storylines because I feel it serves the struggle with his dual identity that has been there since season one. He's always had problems balancing being Oliver Queen and the Arrow. Now you add to the fact that he's mayor, he's a single dad and he has the FBI after him. It's no wonder he needs a break. Plus it seems like a realistic struggle to me. People also complained about Quentin once again struggling to stay sober and all I could think was hello alcoholism is a life long struggle.
I'm complaining about the Quentin storyline, because it's just not the drinking, it's drinking because of his daughters being alive, then dead, then alive again, then gone, then alive, then dead. His whole story always revolve around his daughters and the writers NEVER moved on from that! They still won't on s6 apparently... I really expected to have Thea and Quentin develop a father/daughter relationship on s5 but they completely ditched it midseason and to me, that was a mistake.
What Eric said around 55:00 is everything. Blindwave is the only reactor I watch, I love how they don't hold grunge, analyse logically the events and enjoy the show.
I know a lot of Arrow fans like "shipping" (which I've never been a fan of), especially with Dinah and Diggle now, but I like their friend dynamic. I really like how Dinah called him out for his bullshit bot because she's "in love" with him, but because he was a liability to the team and she wasn't sure she could trust him having her back out in the field. I just wish Dinah got more screen time with other members of the team as well, especially Oliver. Also, I agree with you Eric. When Oliver said he wanted to give up being Green Arrow I literally screamed at the TV, "Bring Roy back!"
Everyone is somehow forgetting diggle is married to his baby mama and is no way going to cheat and or break up with her at least they don't seem to be writing his character that way
Damn. I had a feeling that people would be shipping John with Dinah based on their interactions. Lol. It's quite silly, funny and annoying all at the same time. They seem to forget that John is married
I am so glad Eric picked up on that at the end! My initial thought was also, "well what about John Jr?", and tried to justify that he isn't the only parent, but it isn't like Lyla's job is much fricking safer... And Diggle can't even shoot a gun right now, how would he cope with a bow & arrow? I thought he might have noticed John's problem, and be asking him to take a break from the field and be William's guardian with Lyla if anything ever happened to Oliver.
I think you guys are forgetting that Diggle turned down leaving the team after Oliver wanted him to when Diggle's kid was born. It's actually a pretty consistent development considering Oliver knows Diggle doesn't want to leave even with him being a father. In fact, Diggle became even more active in the field after his kid was born. On Diggle's side, if your best friend wants to give up the life that's made him miserable and experience endless tragedy, who are you to say no? I think the one thing I get you guys complaining about is the whole "giving up the hood" thing being repetitive but I also again think it's consistent of Oliver to keep finding a way out of this double life especially since it's compromising his relationship with the most important person to him.
what I don't understand is why the FBI is even investigating Oliver... The president already knows who he is and that he helped save the world from the alien crossover... You'd think Oliver could just go to her and be like "get the FBI off my back please"
Oliver: Hey, Diggle, I need a favor from you. Diggle: Sure man what is it? Oliver: I can't be the Green Arrow anymore so I need you to take my place. Diggle:....seriously? Again. Oliver: No, it's for real this time Diggle: Sure, Oliver. I'll see you back in green in an episode or 2.
Brandon Collins since it was erased it has kinda been going back in that direction. Since it was erased, Jon had his daughter switched with a son, felicity just started smoak tech, and now diggle is an archer
Q&A maybe Oliver is having diggle be the arrow so people can see that they're in the same place at the same time to prove he isn't the green arrow (even though he is) to get the heat off of him then once people believe he isn't the arrow any more he can go back to it.
Some people forget that the public thinks Roy was outed as the Arrow. The Green Arrow has only been around for 2 years. And I think we all know Oliver will be back as GA for episode 8 for the crossover.
Your logic for Oliver giving up the hood should be used in your Flash reactions too then. You all thought it was SOOO awesome when he went in to the speedforce but don't act like you didn't believe he wasn't gonna be right back in the show 20 minutes into the premiere.
It's not just that Oliver has a kid. He's the Mayor and is under a ton of scrutiny. On top of that, he's suspected of being the Green Arrow, which puts him under even more scrutiny. It's all this scrutiny plus being a single parent that made him want to be someone else, to be something else.
Love that you guys commented on the unjustified hate wagon of these reactors. These are the type of losers that go out in school and bully kids. Only a hateful and bully personality will promote this type of behavior. They are malicious and get off by spreading hate. Some of the teens that watch these shows jump on the band wagon because they are lead to believe they are cool when this is a horrible tendency. It is not justified.
In episode one he mentioned letting Samantha's parents take care of William. I think that could happen sometime this season. Or Felicity could watch him lol
Well I'm guessing we'll get like two episodes focusing on Diggle as the Arrow, then hopefully we'll get the two Deathstroke episodes, then ep 7 will probably show Oliver taking back the mantle of GA - just in time for the crossover
Felicity and Curtis can't use PalmerTech/Queen Consolidated's building anymore. The set is now the city hal hahaha they would've to come up with a new place
I agree with Aaron, I think Oliver gives up being Green Arrow because he doesn't want to orphan William. Little John has 2 parents, while William has only one, which means John can be a Green Arrow. Also John was shooting bow and arrow in previous seasons when he was pretending to be Arrow
Maybe this is the one Earth in the Multiverse where Thomas Wayne did not take his family through Crime Alley and actually waited at the movie theater for Alfred to pick them up and did not get killed, and therefore Bruce had no reason to become Batman.
Paralysis is a different case to neurodegenerative disorders. Obtaining technology to "fix" paralysis is feasible where as there is literally no way neurodegenerative diseases can be cured, unless its something magical etc. Most of the science in this show is real and based on real world so take it for what you will. I'm just shedding light on what Neurodegenerative means.
Since they haven't had much to show of my favorite again which is Felicity Smoak I want to ask Blind Wave a question What do you think about how buff Emily has gotten over the last 6 months? Emily Bett Rickards has been in training since season 2 with Thomas Taylor and Brady Roberts but now she has more then that. Her workouts are awesome Boxing, Kick Boxing. She already is a trained Gymnast. I want Felicity Smoak to surprise the Fanboys and become a Superhero on Arrow.
barbara foster Felicity is already a hero. She doesn't need a suit to be a hero. Fighting skills aren't the only ones needed to protect people. This exactly what they want to show. Her superpower is in her brain.
Nope Aaron. I did one year of bow practice. Just one short little year... on completely still big circular targets. And if I learned one simple thing there, it's A LOT harder to hit something than you might think. If any of your hands/arms shakes a tiny bit, your arrow will be much less precise. Bows are harder to use than a gun, it's a fact. :/ Plus, it's something they adressed in previous seasons. I don't remember if it was with Yao Fei & Shado, or Talia Al Ghul... "Why using a bow when you can have a gun" ? Because it is indeed much harder to use properly, so you have to become extremely calm and focused even in the middle of the action. Somekind of a zen warrior philosophy, in a way, I guess.
Why do people keep thinking Oliver lost Tommy because of him being the Arrow? Tommy's death was because of the Undertaking; which had nothing to do with Oliver.
Love your vids. I look at Oliver asking Dig to be GA as ok because.. one.. yes Dig has a kid too but he is already out there as Spartan and it doesn't seem to bother him or Lyla. So.. what is the diff if he is Spartan or GA. Oliver just says the city needs a GA.... so he is offering that to Dig. Like a promotion. LOL Plus... Digs kid is way younger. Hes not at an age where he knows what his dad does or is afraid. I think the fact that William knows and is older and knows the consequences makes the difference. Will it last? Nope. But I'm excited to see how they work it with Dig injury. I think it will drive a wedge between them when the truth comes out.
he can't be arrow also because as mayor, he has to balance that plus the FBI chick is breathing down his neck. he understands that he can't be a vigilante, father, and mayor with all eyes on him
A mysterious ring will make its way to John “Stewart” Diggle, fixing the nerve damage and turning him into someone else something else....... Green Lantern coming soon to Arrow
Here's the thing: even if the Gotham Bat regularly made the Star City news, why do people assume that the 'cameras' capturing Ollie's life -- giving us the show _Arrow_ -- would need to show it? Point being: you can't judge the existence of a Character in a Universe by whether we've heard about them before.
The parent issue is the thing that's bothering you with Diggle taking over as Green Arrow? How about the fact that he was about to leave the team because of his nerve damage, inhibiting him from his ONE skill (shooting guns) as Spartan, and he immediately accepts becoming an ARCHER?!
Fight scenes were great. And Roy won't be back till later this season. And diggle will use a crossbow. It's logical he uses a gun a crossbow is the next best thing.
Tbh other than Diggle, Rene is also a "single dad" (okay he hasn't custody of his daughter yet, she's still counting on him, he's still her last biological parent!) and it doesn't seem to... bother Oliver? Or the writers? Also I'm tired of Diggle's role in the group being "erased" just like that for him to become GA, he's not GA, he's Spartan! And Spartan became important to him when he decided to atone for what he did to his brother, through Spartan. How would Oliver react if someone took over his own "identity"/costume as GA and made him... idk, the Flash? And do they expect the FBI lady to be blind or something?? GA is white, he's been white ever since the police started going after him, so does Oliver really think having Diggle, a black dude, exposing himself as GA, cut some slack off him? I think it'll have the opposite effect, and FBI Lady will be like "dude do you think I'm stupid??" and he's throwing Diggle right under the bus with him! Okay, Diggle suiting him as The Hood was okay because we only saw him at night/one time, but taking the mantle and all? That's bullshit, no one is going to be fooled into believing that Diggle is the "original" GA, and everyone will see that GA mysteriously changed his skin tone when the medias/FBI started circling around Oliver Queen! Anyway it has always pissed me off how ppl in Starling City are blind and dumb not to recognize Oliver Queen under that Hood! But tbh, it's pretty obvious that Diggle lying (when will ppl in this team STOP lying to each other?) will be an important turning point. I *really* hope at some point Oliver comes out in a Tony Stark way "I'm the Green Arrow" because the show really needs it. The "people guessing"/"Oliver dissing the theory with some bullshit" thing is getting tiring....
No no no, every reactor so far has got it wrong! Oliver doesn't want to be GA anymore because he can't bear the thought of orphaning his child. If Diggle gets killed, his kid will still have Lyla.
That's a horrible way to put things...you shouldn't compare family and people situations like that, some people turns well without parent and other turn to shit with one parent.
And you think this makes this logic acceptable ? "Oh it's fiiiiiiiiine, if you die, your kid will still have his mom, so no big deal huh ?". What kind of logic is that ? If the story needs another Green Arrow for a moment, bring back Roy. He is trained with bows, he has experience.
Really enjoy your Arrow reax vids. I binge-watched 12 of your vids for Arrow S5 in 2 days, after I stopped watching a substantial portion of that season coz I couldn’t stomach the cringe-inducing bedwarmer whose unethical behaviour brought shame to the profession of journalists.
A.V. Club put it best: "Perhaps someone just dropping in for a quick Arrow outing might miss the significance, but regular viewers will remember that John also has a child. That’s not one guy asking another guy to step up. That’s a man asking his best friend to be the most visible target on the team, because Oliver’s son has already lost a parent, and Diggle’s son has both."
Don’t know why but Eric going “The fuck?” Instead of “Aaron” during the title card made me burst out laughing lmao😂
You know what I want? I want them to tease Batman kinda like how they teased Superman on Supergirl. Destractoid that would be cool to, maybe we could see that on legends or something
RawTurkeyPVP I wish we could see Batman Beyond on any kind of live action at least once
Been waiting for your reaction. This was an awesome episode. Arrow is so damn good. It's ten steps ahead and all the shows don't even know what game we are playing yet.
Also that name drop of Bruce made me go crazy.
nigga wtf does that mean you comment that everywhere
its a reference from season 5 arrow
but it makes no sense the way hes using it
It really isn't 10 steps ahead of anything with that stupid ass premiere.
I AM PROMETHEUS i thought the premiere and this episode was both very weak🤔
I hope to God the first thing we see of this Batman is just the bat glove catching Oliver's arrow.
Dave QM we won't see batman in the arrowverse. It's almost impossible. There's the gotham show, the movies and I don't think that we should trust the arrow writers with Batman.
Shhhhhh.
Don't kill the fantasy.
Cory Evans because it's CW lol they will cheese him so bad
More like a Batarang hitting an Arrow mid-flight.
RheagoBittersteel I mean we got superman

Diggle will become Green Lantern!!!!!

Yeah no one wants Diggle and Dinnah together. Your the only one who mentioned that.
Cody Shippers are the cancer that plagues the CW.
Everyone is somehow forgetting diggle is married to his baby mama and is no way going to cheat and or break up with her at least they don't seem to be writing his character that way

shadowecho02 president wouldn't want to publicly acknowledge honor the vigilantes. Plus Oliver was masked it doesn't mean she knows who he is.
maybe, but i'd like to think that since glasses guy knew who he was, the president probably does too.
shadowecho02 who is glasses guy? From the big crossover last year with the aliens? Did he work for the president?
Loved the video. You guys are funny. My favorite reactors.
xyzw 12369 agreed. I only really watch them too each week
38:07 Damit Aaron , I've been avoiding what Mark Ruffalo said about Avengers 3 and now you had to reveal it.
Oliver: Hey, Diggle, I need a favor from you.
Diggle: Sure man what is it?
Oliver: I can't be the Green Arrow anymore so I need you to take my place.
Diggle:....seriously? Again.
Oliver: No, it's for real this time
Diggle: Sure, Oliver. I'll see you back in green in an episode or 2.

Yes, i miss this old long videos
33:00 killed me 🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂

Could this be the thing that leads to diggle jr becoming green arrow?
Brandon Collins since it was erased it has kinda been going back in that direction.
Since it was erased, Jon had his daughter switched with a son, felicity just started smoak tech, and now diggle is an archer
NilCaelum And Slade's son has been mentioned
Algerian Jon Snow that's spades other son though
The part of the Avatar theme Aaron is singing is the part right before the "previously on Avatar" 😂 I'm pretty sure.
you guys didn't include the ep moment with Felicity in the red one shoulder blouse! a stand out moment tbh
Neida DV 😂😂

Yeah but Diggle is black... GA is known as a white man... I mean, SCPD is stupid but not that stupid.

Oliver should call Bruce and ask him to take care of star city for a while... problem solved... Or just call wally... he's not exactly busy...

When did Green Arrow ever kill anyone? I know the Arrow/Hood did and was arrested for it but did GA? Maybe I'm just forgetting
Actually Roy is supposed to be coming back
Rivyn Daniel I hope so, I miss him
I read somewhere that Constatine was going to be on Legends this season, not sure if it's true or not?
It's true. I think he makes his appearance in episode 9 and 10 this season on Legends of Tomorrow.
Diggle's nerve damage is degenerative. There is no known cure for now for Neurodegenerative diseases
It's version of the DC universe, I'm positive there is or will be some sort of cure or something for that

Maybe its his dominant hand...
I think Curtis and Felicity will still come up with something. That's no coincidence the two storylines develop in parallel. Smoak Tech is coming.
LOL, most of the science in the show is comic book fantasy
Since they haven't had much to show of my favorite again which is Felicity Smoak I want to ask Blind Wave a question What do you think about how buff Emily has gotten over the last 6 months? The parent issue is the thing that's bothering you with Diggle taking over as Green Arrow? How about the fact that he was about to leave the team because of his nerve damage, inhibiting him from his ONE skill (shooting guns) as Spartan, and he immediately accepts becoming an ARCHER?!
+Levi Everaerts I think we covered that pretty extensively how it compounds the issue
Fight scenes were great. And Roy won't be back till later this season. And diggle will use a crossbow. It's logical he uses a gun a crossbow is the next best thing.
I AM PROMETHEUS exactly
So late...finally! :D
President helps
The Green Diggow !!!
That's still dumb as shit.
That's a retarded reason. A kid needs his father too. Doesn't mean shit if the has two parents. Total bullshit reason.

Exactly
Finally!!!
Isn't batwoman suppose to appear somewhere in the arrowverse....
Batman is a comic in the universe as we've seen in Flash season 2 episode 1 so bruce wayne is a normal billionaire
I don't remember
.....
Constantine will perform an exsorcism on legends, not sure what episode
Ante Majetić SPOILERS!
If it wasn’t overplayed the whole giving up the mantle is justified
Spencer Pauley agreed
The credits totally said Katie Cassidy, and she totally wasn't in the episode...
Rengoku pretty sure regulars always get mentioned in the credits whether they are in an episode or not
