Bought this for my small back deck in the Eastern Sierra. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN We get A LOT of HEAVY snow so I was a bit skeptical but it was worth it! After the first storm of the year this has exceeded expectations! It throws snow very well, even 10-12” + that said the more it piles up the harder it is to maneuver the machine. It is exceptionally light weight and overall exactly what I was looking for. If you have a large amount of snow and a lot of area to clear, you may consider something with a drive engine to help maneuverability, but for decks, second stories, roofs etc, you can’t beat the light weight to great snow throwing ratio. Side note, the chute rotator is a bit flimsy and it initially didn’t seem to work, after a few uses it seems to have loosened up.

you couldnt move enough snow to make a dent in the water shortages. Its the mountains out west that hold the snow that melts. Like big mountains with millions of tons of snow sitting on them probably
0:28 This way of plowing is completely fucking crazy. The plow trucks pull out snow on an almost dry road, which becomes shit-slippery when the cars pack the snow in the road surface. Plow the snow in the middle against the barrier wall instead, so it will be softer to drive into. 😎👍😉
They plow snow this way in Toronto, Canada, where there is lots of "lake effect" snow and several freeze/thaw cycles every winter. If they did it your way, after about 2 snowfalls, there would be no room left in the middle for the next storm, and by spring it would be a totally unmanageable mountain of ice. There's also A LOT of traffic, so they have to get the freeways clear in a hurry. The traffic takes care of the small amount of residue left on the road surface very quickly.

@@larszenthio1012 Haha It's all good!👍 sometimes my sarcasm detector is a little slow. Especially having experienced Toronto drivers...some of them would take your last line as real advice.
They are clearing the shoulder for security reasons. If there is an accident, the shoulder needs to be clear and accessible. This is especially important on such a wide freeway.
awesome compilations video , loved watching it
Thanks a lot!

How to move this excess snow in places with water shortages during summer
What transport mode would be the cheapest
