My father told me something in my teens that I will never forget: “ if something looks beautiful on a woman, tell her.” Always make a woman feel happy, not sad or insulted. Always be a gentleman.

Abbreviated texts, like "WYD" can also be a huge turnoff for a smart woman. Mirror her..if she texts full words, it would be wise to do the same.

Sound advice... I used to ask women to smile, By saying "Smile beautiful." I definitely didn't get the response I wanted... Also I recently was asked by s lady friend which one of her friends were sexy... I told her that my eyes have only been on you ... i thought it was corny, but she actually loved my response. I agree with your list as always. I can’t stand it when guys you know, or who are complete strangers, tell you to smile. It’s not my job to smile, so you a total stranger, can feel better about yourself. If I wanted to smile, I would. Shut up and leave me alone. If you want to immediately irritate a woman, then tell her to smile.

What about those women that are throwing out all that stuff from nearly the beginning? They talk about their ex? I put widows in a different category. I just allow them to speak about it when they are ready. Having met and dated more than one widow, they always want to open up about it at some point. I live in the South, so even the attendants at the drive-throughs call us "Sweetheart" and "Darling." It took some time, since I am not a native, to realize they use that term with just about everyone. Then there are those who seem to be in a hurry to get in to bed. Hold on!
