A big thank you to Mukbee for sponsoring this video. After a great trip to Anaheim to attend Vidcon, I was just around the LA area and decided to pay a visit to what I think is LA's best buffet. How do I know? I got a chance to visit the Cafe Sierra restaurant about 3 years back and so glad to see them back up and running again! Along with the great food, it was the great people there that made it special.
And during this visit, it was just like old times! The mountains of King Crab, mounds of lobsters cooked and plated to order, and beautiful roasts from prime rib to an absolutely succulent bbq duck. While the price has gone up, so has the quality and quantity.. the best of both worlds.

Oh my gosh the seafood at that buffet is incredible, so many huge crabs 😍 those oysters were huge as well. Fantastic nugget,buffet thanks again for taking us along Tim.

LA native here, Cafe Sierra has always been a high quality buffet, your review makes me want to pay a visit since we were there precovid, but at current prices we may have to leave the kids at home

I was a bit shocked at the price to be honest, but it was quite worth it considering how much all the seafood is nowadays 😋

Messy food is the BEST food 😂 I never hesitate to order ribs, spaghetti, nachos or any other awkward food that ends up all over my face on first dates 😂😂😂 keep being you 😊

So nice you went back and saw old friends. That king crab was Ginormous! I know you like prime rib but I would have gone with the duck - twice. For once I am watching you eat lovely seafood and I get to have it for dinner also. I'm making shrimp scampi with lots of garlic and some pasta. Greetings from Corvallis Oregon.

This is an Ultimate Buffet. And the best buffet you've been to in a while. Happy to see you're back in the United States. The lobster and the king crab are impressive, but I really wish you would not ruin it by dipping it in New England clam soup. You want to taste the lobster and king crab by enhancing the flavor of it with melted butter and a little tiny bit of fresh lemon. I just don't know why you want to mask the flavor of top quality seafood with a cream soup. I guess to each their own. The buffet is beautiful. Thanks for showing us 👍🏻♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸

They certainly were generous with the seafood. To be honest, I don't think they're making much profit (if any) even at that price..
The Meats and Seafood look wonderful, the hot foods; there really wasn't anything here I didn't want to try along with Tim Lee, Let's Go!! Even the desserts were beautiful and tempting!! My stomach is grumbling watching this one!! 😊
They did a really good job there… even the sushi station was very good…. Just missing the potato salad 😉😀

I'm eating dinner here this Sunday. I will have: Lobster and King Crab legs 5-6 times. Prime Rib/Lamb 2 times. Shrimp Cocktail (6-8 pieces), Oysters (6 pieces). Pork Belly, Roast Duck, Mustard Greens and Asparagus.
That would be my plate too , less the asparagus

Yeah, the prices are high but the ingredients were super nice! I recall king crab was outrageously expensive on it's own

That looks fantastic. And the staff all love you. It looks like it's worth the price. I am headed to Seattle and while we are there will try a buffet you recommended a year or so ago, but after that, this place is on my list.

Wow, the king crab and soft-shell crab looked really tasty...and also that salmon pizza! Then just leave me at the dessert table and I'll go crazy on all those amazing treats. What a fabulous buffet :)

Wife and I are huge seafood buffet lovers. We've noticed the decline of the big king crab legs post covid in the L.A. area. Your worldly buffets are amazing to watch. We live just north of L.A. and now plan to eat at Cafe Sierra soon.
I do inquire about why buffets don't include king crab and lobsters anymore and most places mentioned not the prices skyrocketed in the last year. Glad to see it coming back.. slowly 😃
Looks MUCH better than Vegas Buffets.
Also alaska cut quotas on crab not too long ago . Hopefully temporary. This is a good thing long term so like lobster stays sustainable. I could live at the oyster lamb rib, etc statations and wait till crab pops bloom, they will. I want a soft shell blue " burger" double crab , 2 poached eggs or 4, runny and a half stick garlic butter! Like now! Gonna go make a toasted cheese with mayo to quiet my tummy. And runny eggs! Got like 4 packs of muenster on sale 75% off. My favorite.
Btw cheese sealed rarely goes bad and ill eat mold if it smells ok. Most harmless but can always cut out and my dogs dont notice and 100000x our sniff power. Dog dont touch it neither should us! Never happens here at home and no illnesses from food. Think b4 you toss! Actually may boost gut biome. Wash down with kraut, pickles or kim chee. Or all 3!

Another fun video, Tim!! I have been there years ago and it was excellent, but @ $139 I will have to save it for a very special occasion. I am intrigued at creating a sushi hand roll dessert...start with a chocolate tweel filled with fruit and perhaps a mousse concoction? Anyway, thanks again and God bless!

Great review Tim!! They closed and reopened with a vengeance by doubling up the prices(sniff sniff). At one time, they even give you a Free dinner on your birthday, as long you bring someone. Honestly I prefer Vegas buffet…lol!! Because I feel the quality and prices is less expensive then Cafe Sierra. Thank you again for your great videos!
