Thank you Tara Kate. Yeah it isn't often I get to use the spontaneous style for client work. It's scarier but exciting at the same time. Yeah Lisa Glanz's brushes are the most useful to me so far since they are the closest to the real thing I've tried. Really like how you draw your birds, especially with pen and watercolours. Lovely! Before watching your videos, I didn't know there was such a thing as Birdtober!
Great video. As a freelance illustrator too, I sometimes have to remind myself that my style is what the client wants. I like what you said - to get it right having to not think about getting it right. Thanks for sharing 🤗🙏
Welcome! Yes it's nice when my own default personal style suits the work. But oftentimes, I have to do an art style that suits the brand. I like to see it like being an actor. I can't act the same for every movie. I have to change how I act to fit the story, to serve the story. But at the same time, I can inject my own take on it into the character I'm playing, but always to make the story better.
