Stunning!!! So excited to be starting my lightweight version!
I made a Lightweight Hipster shawl in a variegated yarn by Matchmaker Yarns and love it but definitely want to make a solid red one! LOVE ❤️ yours!
Love it! Perfect timing - I just finished the Hipster yesterday in a caramel color and am anxiously waiting for it to dry so I can put on the fringe. Thanks as always for sharing!!
That shade of red is perfect against your skin, and set off very nicely by your peacoat- tfs!
I think you were talking about broomstick lace, which is a crochet technique where you use a really fat knitting needle or a literal broomstick to make giant loops.
I lived in Copenhagen for a bit when I was younger, hope you enjoyed!
I love the red! What a beautiful place. ❤️❤️
Thanks Sandra! It was PERFECT weather!
Beautiful shawl. I can't tell from the lighting if it's meant to be red or coral red; I like it either way. I've always heard/seen that stitch referred to as Indian Cross Stitch. Great job, Kristy.
Your shaw is awesome! The backdrop, is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it! :-)
Thanks Ann Kathy.
I love it! I knit one for a Christmas gift, and definitely want to make more.
It is a GREAT gift, so versatile!
I knit one in a beautiful burnt orange, and now I’m knitting one in dark grey. I used Illimani Santi...amazing yarn 45%fine merino, 25% baby alpaca, 15% yak and 15% mulberry silk. It’s totally my favorite go to neck wrap. And I’m a pretty new knitter, just under 2 years.. it was such a fun project! I wear mine like you, and tie it in front
Cute!
Hygge! Can't wait! Beautiful color....
I think you're gonna love November!
Love the color and it looks great with your skin and hair. I would love to make that but I think I would need to lean towards a Fall tone, or pick a red with a lot more blue in it. Being a red head that color will most likely clash intensely with my hair. I love the look of it though.
Copenhagen looks gorgeous. Another great share...thank you!!!
Great FO vidoe as usual. Notes taken and I just asked Giggling Gecko for a Hipster quantity of the red :-) Giggling Gecko is amazing yarn and Judy is an amazing person and artist!!!
Gorgeous color! I love the pattern. That crossed stitch is demonstrated in the big new version of Vogue Knitting. I just happened to see it last night!
Cool! Thanks for the tip!
Gorgeous, I’m up to the second textured band, such a fun quick knit..I’ve only got 500m... not sure if I’ll have enough...eek
Love this! I need to knit one.
Omg I hope you show some yarn stores. My daughter and I are going to Copenhagen to see the Christmas markets this year. Just happened upon knitting podcasts lately so I am inspired to take up knitting again. Just knitted my daughter a hat so looking to find local yarns when there.
I started this today and don’t understand how to do that stitch. Can’t figure it out, so stopped.
Are there any tutorials for it?
Love your red! I just made one of these too and I love it! ❤️
SAME!
Gorgeous!!!
Thanks Jennifer!
Love this in red! ❤️❤️❤️
It's so fun!
I think I want to make one with the Clinton Hill Cashmere in blush pink to match the hat I made last year.
Lovely red shawl! I love red... :-)
Thanks Gillian!
Kristy you look beautiful in any color but I do love red on you.
THANKS!
My home country 🇩🇰🇺🇸
Haha, we do say Copenhagen the first way you pronounced it - or we say København in danish :D
YEAH!

Hej, you are in Europe!
I love your show, but... Why do I always hear the same designer names. Wouldn't it be possible, when in Europe: choose a local designer? Especially Denmark is well known for amazing design in furniture, architecture and knitting too.
Less Joji, more new ones. We need sales too!
Hi from the Netherlands!
I just choose designs that catch my attention. It's not chosen with intent. I did meet a Norwegian designer on my trip and I am excited to knit one of her patterns. I also got several kits in copenhagen and I assume the designers are Danish....so I am starting to branch out!
@@kristyglassknits great! Thanks
