Hi Joni, please don’t feel bad about showing us your patterns! We live vicariously through you and enjoy seeing and making what you create. Those 2 long sweaters are fabulous! Oh and the cabley goodness! All your patterns are fabulous! I love the way the crown of your hat looks like a flower and your 1 skein shawl is amazing, I don’t only have to make socks with my skeins of yarn😊 You look good in yellow, did you make your dress? It was nice to join you knowing you’re in summer while we are in winter!
Joji! We are here for the stories behind the patterns! I love hearing about your inspiration and, for what it’s worth, I’ve never felt like you were promoting yourself or your patterns. Your episodes are genuine and fun! Please keep it up whenever you feel up to it! 💗
To be honest, one reason I tune in to your podcasts are to see what you’ll be coming out with. So please don’t feel guilty. I’m super eager for the cables sweater! Thank you for sharing your work!❤
Joji I am nearing total blindness. I enjoy your show so much. I love to hear about your inspiration. I love the way your voice sounds when you are making for your family and when you talk to your mother. I am mostly homebound. Much love and good wishes…
Joji, I so enjoy spending time watching your videos! Do t ever feel bad about promoting what you are doing! It is a joy to see your creativity, it is infectious! I always want to go strait to the yarn shop after watching you. Also, I think Milton is gorgeous!
Oh my goodness Joji! All your designs are so so beautiful. I don’t wear mohair but that cardigan is stunning! I don’t think you need to worry about the variation of your designs! There is so so much to choose from x thanks again for sharing them with us!
Joji, you are such a beautiful designer. I always love hearing about your new patterns and leather products. Thanks for being brave enough to publish a podcast even if you’re nervous about it, and I especially appreciate your willingness to publish in English. If you keep talking about knitting, I’ll keep watching. :)
Nice to see you back here. I love the shawl collar and that cardigan pattern is stunning. And the six color longer cardigan sure looks like a dream to me ❤wow ! Gorgeous handiwork. Be well ! 🧶☮️💫 Happy Knitting .
It's lovely to see you again Joji, I love your designs and like to hear your stories of how this idea came to you. I think everything that you showed today is beautiful. I hope that your family and your mum are all well and enjoying your beautiful summer. 😊❤
Beautiful upcoming patterns! It was so nice to imagine you being able to sit outside with a light breeze. It’s too cold 🥶 here in NM with wind and snow ❄️ on the ground.
Please show us all of your beautiful designs! I am also falling in love 😻 And because you asked for a suggestion: I would like to see another fingering weight sweater (without mohair). I have worn my Boxy to pieces. Of course I can find patterns, there are many good designers but your patterns just fit me better / perfectly ❤ Thanks for all your beautiful and thoughtful work. We love you and your designs. Don’t worry 😉
Awww Joji...I love you...your such a beautiful human...keep showing your wips and or finished non published patterns...I'm so in love with both of the cardigans...and can hardly wait until u release them...your such an inspiring designer...huge huge hugs from Canada❤❤
Your humility and creativity are over the top!! Sell on!, there's nothing pushy about showing the results of your hard earned efforts and that of your family's support! I absolutely loved seeing your unabashed joy with the Milton and faded mohair "wedding" piece. I am glad you are back! Enjoy NYC!
You Are Always Such Wonderful Company!!! Your Humility Is Legendary, But I Absolutely Want You To Podcast Your Wips, Fo's & New Patterns!!! Milton Is INCREDIBLE! 💓 Love To You! Congrats On Your Marathon! Vogue Knitting 🙌 Woohoo!
Thank you for your journal Joji. We love that you show us what new things you have coming up and we love to support you so we love to hear you talking about that. I am super loving the Milton but I will have to get some Suri as I won’t be able to wear Mohair. I so love your lacy cardi you made out of Jodi’s yarn too. Once again, thank you 🥰😍🧡🧡 Christine, Australia.
Your authenticity is so inspiring! I appreciate you, Joji. Milton is lovely! 💕 I have one of your bags that was a collaboration with Magpie Fibers. The leather is gorgeous and I know will only look better with time. The quality of your bags are exceptional.
Yay! I love being able to catch up with you and all of your WIPS and upcoming patterns, seeing you run like a madwoman, and your reading recommendations. I loved attending your class at VKL last year and I'm sad I'm not able to go this year but I know you and your family will have a wonderful time. Now I just need to knit faster because I want all the things you showed! 💗
Love seeing your new patterns and bags. We would be very disappointed not to see your fabulous talent! I fell in love with Milton, so now the yarn I bought for Elton Pullover is going into a Milton instead.
This made my day!! I always enjoy time I get. To knit while you talk, but this was super special!! I love the Milton and the new lace mohair long sweater. I think those will be the sweaters of my dreams, but maybe one day I’ll have the gumption to make it. I’m excited to try your new boxy cardigan. Love love love the teal backpack and also, your book review was stellar!! I felt the same way about the books, instead of running, I listen to them when I’m out walking my dog for over an hour a day. 🌶️ is definitely a good description. 🥰. Thanks for being you!! Love hearing of all your adventures!! 💜
I love your podcasts! Going to get a skein of bulky Spincycle as soon as I can get to my local yarn store to make that hat. Milton is gorgeous!! That just may be my first ever cardigan.
Thank you for another wonderful podcast! I absolutely love hearing about your projects before they are formally published. Telling us what yarn you've used and how much, is always so helpful. It means I can spend time contemplating yarns I might use and it gives me time to get them if I want to start the project when the pattern is released. I did this ages ago with the Aimee cardigan and am doing it again now with almost every project you showed in this episode 🤣. The cabled vest might be perfect for some yarn in my stash I've been struggling to use. The Milton cardigan is next level and I have some gorgeous LBA sport in winterfell that i knit and then frogged a project. I'm thinking of getting some Kumo to go with it for a Milton!! I find sometimes slik mohair is too fluffy. My Instant Crush is gorgeous but oh so much fluff 🤣🤣 I too am an avid audio reader and often love the same stories as you. The 3rd Cresent City is out later this month so we can all enjoy that soon!! Have you tried any of the dramatised versions that have a whole cast instead of a single narrator at a time? I read the Court of Thorn and Roses so long ago that I'm going to re-read the first book and try one of the dramatised versions. Finally I have to add how visually beautiful this episode was too with all the wonderful shades of yellow 💛
Joji, you are no type of imposter. You are such a real, genuine and caring human. I love your podcast any time and love hearing about your releases and any designs you are working on. Please don’t feel self conscious! ❤❤ By the way, you glow in yellow.
I'm so glad you posted! It's nice to spend time with you , hearing about your life and work. It made cleaning so much nicer this morning! lol And I understand the feeling of not only wanting to post when you have a new thing to promote, but I love being able to see your beautiful creations and to buy them when I can. It inspires me and I feel connected in a really good way. Thank you!
I love that Milton has set in sleeves. I made my version of Elton that way. The mohair cardigan is lovely. It will be fun to see the test knits. I am looking forward to the cabled sweater. May be a knit for next winter...
Hola Joji! thanks for sharing all the knits, even though they aren't released, appreciate the sneak previews! And Felicidades por 5 anos de Joji & Co! The bags are so beautiful.
I love your all 3 upcoming patterns, they look either very promising or already gorgeous! I follow your journals since the beginning and I regularly see you show dissatisfaction about your ribbing. I had a similar feeling with mine and since I use combination knitting, I find it better… Thank you for your journals, it is always a pleasure to watch and listen to you ❤
Love your patterns Joji! Please keep them coming:) Just purchased the beanie pattern yesterday and looking forward to the Milton cardigan. I did La Prairie last year and love it very much! Also love the bags and backpack! Just beautiful.
I love hearing about your design process, seeing your designs on the video with your details of each of them. I literally fall in love with the pattern watching the video. I wish other designers would do similarly to what you do. Any time you share with us, I treasure it.
Can I just say how much I enjoyed my time with you today - I could say so much but I think that I enjoyed your company is comment enough. Remember you are always more than enough as you are ❤❤❤
I really love the new one skein shawl design! I do appreciate quick gratification from small projects. I knit two pairs of your Flores socks, a beautiful lace pattern that looks more complicated than it is. Thank you for your honesty and humanity and for sharing your design process 👏👏👏
I love your designs, and can’t wait to try the Milton cardigan. Not interested in smutty books, but to each her own. I love hearing about your lovely family. You’re a fantastic designer, and a lovely person.
You made my day when your Journal showed up on TH-cam! I so love your patterns - and now I must make the cable sweater, Milton and your mohair dreams cardigan!! Thank you for sharing and inspiring us! ❤️🧶🥰
Hello Joji, i love watching your journals and feel enveloped by joy and kinship when I watch. You inspire me so much and I am in love with both your new cardigans and will be knitting them both-as soon as I can buy the patterns. I met you and Jodi and Traci at the pender island retreat and you were all so warm and kind to everyone. I will be knitting with Jodies mohair as I am in canada and will be visiting edmonton in March, so hopefully the pattern will be out and I can grab her mohair before its all gone. I predict she will have a run on those colours, they are stunning! Love to you and great health and happiness in 2024! Sincerely, Susan
Hi Joji, I love seeing your new patterns! I'm particularly looking forward to the cabled vest and pullover, but the cardigans are also so beautiful. ❤ I'm currently enjoying knitting your Sammal cardigan and can't wait to wear it in the spring!
Joji- your journals are always worth waiting for! You are such an amazing and inspiring creative spirit. Love all your designs, elegant and simple at the same time.
I was wondering the other day when you might put out a new episode and saw this this morning. I love watching as you have such a relaxing tone of voice that's easy to listen to. Currently knitting my 2nd Party on my needles. I love your patterns as they are so easy to understand and a joy to knit
I always enjoy your Knitting Journals and look forward to them! You are so talented and enthusiastic about your work, which shines through. As well as hearing about your latest designs, WIPS and F.O.'s (which I think you definitely should include) , I think it's great that you also talk about your workouts, family, Perri, and life in general. You are amazing and kind , inside and out, and I would encourage you to keep doing exactly what you already are. And maybe with your Mom again soon!! Oh and your latest designs are fantastic!
Joji, your work is beautiful, you are beautiful and talented! We love to watch you because you make us happy. Please continue sharing you lovely work, we truly appreciate. Those 2 long cardigans are beautiful and I cannot wait for the pattern releases. All the best for 2024!
Joji, you have been very busy!!!! Thank you for sharing all that is new with you. The long cardigans are absolutely gorgeous! I am a shawl lover and I am in love with that new one skein design that you showed. I am not a tassel girl and was wondering if it’s possible to finish it with a picot edge instead?? Any chance you could include that as an option in the design? ❤
The vest is stunning I’m definitely knitting it. Congratulations on finishing your stage ultra race. I love running/knitting combo , it’s the best. I’m an ultra runner too and have done a stage mountain race and a number of ultras, knitting is the first thing I do after changing my race clothes 😂 I even taught my running buddies how to knit so we can knit after our long runs together . Thank you for sharing your running news with us Joji wish you the best. Love all the way from Kuwait
First of all, Happy New Year from Canada. It is so good to hear about all of your adventures (100 km! Over 3 days) and see all of your projects at every stage. Milton is so dreamy (my hubby may get jealous). One more for my cart. Working through my project pile - 5 knit sweaters and a crochet blanket. I'm often side tracked though by my palate cleanser - socks. Your support of small local artisans for your leather goods is heart warming.
Dear Joji; Always enjoy your Journals; love seeing what you have finished and anticipating what is comming next!! Your work is amazing and I never tire of viewing new patterns, future plans, Wip's, Bags & Life!! You are a beautiful human inside and out, don't change a thing; really hope to meet you IRL one day!! WIshing you and your family the best in the New Year!! ✨🎉 Take Care, Happy Making and Safe Travels!! 🤗🧶✈ ~ Best Always ~ Lori 😘
Joji!! I was thrilled to see you pop up here on You Tube. Absolutely love seeing your new designs. Even if your not ready. Nerves worry about that. Have a wonderful time at VKL..
G’day from Australia Joji I knit your ‘La Prairie’ last year and it is beautiful I love your new designs soo exciting 🤩👌✨🐑🫶 Thank you so much for sharing 🙏🏻
Your son's socks are amazing! I knit socks for both of my grandsons for Christmas. The youngest wears a size 13 shoe-that's a lot of foot! I kept it simple with ribbed socks. I so wish I could flip between "throwing" and Continental knitting. I just can't get the hang of holding the yarn in my left hand no matter how I try. Frustrates the heck out of me! All of your sweaters are amazing! Love your brioche shawl too. My first real Brioche project was your Collective Shawl during your fall KAL. I loved every minute of knitting it and learned so much along the way....like i LOVE Brioche! I just bought your new sweater pattern. I haven't knit a sweater for years. I think this pattern just might be the one to kickstart me to get going. BTW-I LOVE the photo of you and Perri holding hands and smiling. It just made my heart smile. Joji, what I love about your designs is that you have something for everyone. That hat is adorable-as is the name! YAY for another one skein shawl-my favorites! Speaking of which, you asked for suggestions for future designs...I'd love to see another shawl/scarf in the shape of Venezia. I've knit 2 of them and enjoyed each and every stitch. Thank you so much for all you do. ❤❤❤
Love to see your podcast pop up in my notifications. I get visibly excited and drop everything. That is not my usual way of being... only you do that to me. I'm hoping I can get one of the leather mini Santa Cruz bags tomorrow. I keep missing out during the recent updates... but now I'm glad I did because I love the leather version. My older purple mini Santa Cruz is my all time favorite bag. Fluffy striped cardigan is going on my must knit list.
Thanks for a Milton I don’t like dropped shoulder too much, this one is lovely . I have Elton in the list to do have yarn but think I will switch to Milton, thanks
How funny! I do the *same thing* with continental and English knitting. Almost exactly. I *love* Milton. I was thinking of doing Elton, but now that I've seen Milton, I'll wait.
Your new designs are gorgeous - but, I also love your older designs - I just finished your Tii number 4! They are so comfortable, I feel great wearing them! Have a nice trip to NY - wish I could be there and join your classes 💛
So many beautiful patterns to look forward to! I love the Milton! I would also love it if you wrote up the pattern for your son’s socks! I love the cables!
Hi Joji, I can't wait for your two new mohair projects. They are stunning and so wearable! As for more reading suggestions I would recommend The Plated Prisoner Series by Raven Kennedy. I think it's better written than the Fourth Wing series. It's a bit darker and more mature.
Happy new year, Joji! I recognize those gorgeous diamond cables in the socks and vest from the Granny cardigan - I can't stop squeezing them :-) My family and friends are now very impressed with my knitting skills, but they're really pretty simple once I got the hang of it. That is your genius as a designer! I also go back and forth between throwing and picking...my tension is tighter when I throw, but I'm definitely faster when I pick.

So strange to see you in summer season during a big snowy day here. Milton looks wondeful, the other long fluffy mohair cardigan also !!!
You are the BEST and you are such a friendly person Joji. I admire your patterns, want to make them all 💌🌞
The vest is stunning I’m definitely knitting it.

Milton is so sweet and that colour looks great on you.
Will be on my list to knit.
Always enjoy your journals.
GORGEOUS!!!!!! Joji, you are sooooooooooo talented.
Oh my the cardigans are beautiful!!! Always a pleasure to see your vlogs!!! I’m reading the Throne of glass too!!I like be that genre!!!❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
So happy to see a new video! PS, really love the terracotta trousers, would love to know where they are from 😄
Always a pleasure, sweet Joji. 💜
So many beautiful patterns to look forward to! I love the Milton! I would also love it if you wrote up the pattern for your son’s socks! I love the cables!
Both of these long cardigans are gorgeous!
Joji - thank you for sharing your time with us. Milton is absolutely beautiful, I can’t wait to make one!
Hi Joji, I can't wait for your two new mohair projects. They are stunning and so wearable! As for more reading suggestions I would recommend The Plated Prisoner Series by Raven Kennedy. I think it's better written than the Fourth Wing series. It's a bit darker and more mature.
And now I’m wondering how many mohair cardigans I can justify! 😂 Really gorgeous, Joji.
Beautiful cardigans Joji looking forward to the release of the pattern. Hopefully I will see you at VKLive.
OMG I love both of the light long cardigans and the light drapery shawl! Yummy!
Hello from my new home in Swansea Illinois! Now comes the hard part of unpacking and putting everything away. Happy New Year to you and your family! How’s your Mother, I love it when she is with you.
Ohhh pues te llevaré una de mis madejas hiladas a mano. Un abrazo linda
