Please help me, I bought a SL MK2 25 keys, I connect it to my MacBook and when the controller turns on, only template 1 appears, but none of the keys work. I have already installed the drivers from the Novation website but nothing works. Is there a reset for the factory settings?
I have the novation Remote SL 37. It looks pretty similar. Should I keep it and deep dive into how to use it? It seems like there's a big learning curve and I'm having trouble getting even the sustain pedal working. So far the keys are working and that's it. Thanks a bunch.

Very great tutorial! ( I have Yamaha MODX with 16 midi multi channels instruments. 1-8 channels i play on Yamaha itself, another 9-16 is possible to play only from midi keyboard. My question is : can i use Novation to play all 9-16 channels at once and separately? And physically muting /soloing them with Novation knobs?) THANKS! Glory to Ukraine!

@@Tiho2012 Really!!? The most advanced midi keyboard cannot just do basic midi learn from external synth!? How did you manage to set the faders on SL for external synths(without automap)?
Thought it was an instrument but boy I was wrong. That gear dob't seem to make a single sound. Not in this video but in sort of every other video either. I'm confused!
Basically my mk 2 is useless in Logic - automap was awful and the midi mapping just doesn’t work ! Dials don’t function correctly and there is no way of correcting. The pot values and sliders to just don’t correspond tried for hours and researched but no joy ! How old is your Cubase ? PC ?

I'm using it with iPads.. Thinking I need to hook it up to a computer to blank out The programs.. But not sure

That MidiEditor looks updated. Is that a newer version of Automap? If so, I Thought they discontinued it or stopped developing it.

SL MK3 encoders cannot send Sysex or 14bit CCs (with value range from 0 to 16383). It’s possible only on SL MK2 (firs row of encoders).

SL MK2 is not the most advanced, but it is the most useful and usable MIDI controller. Also the most functional.

This is a MIDI controller. Every video says this is a MIDI controller. A MIDI controller used to control and play Sound Modules and VST instruments.

Cubase Latest version. I have Mac and PC. I don't use Automap and I do all the mapping on Cubase without any problems.
