Really hitting it out of the park with this one, Elektron. I still spend an ungodly amount of time tuning sounds with the digitone, this is just a beautiful mix of digitone and digitakt. Truly making instant classics on a consistent basis, hats off to you and your team
At 1:55 there is what appears to be some sort of cassette player/recorder with a big rotary knob and a switch....can someone please tell me what that is?
Since I don't have any of these boxes, this looks great. I was looking at the Digitone, but this is Everything. Now I just have to sell off everything in my Reverb store. lol!
Can't wait to get one. With this,.. along with my digitakt and digitone,.. I will be able to forget about getting a few other devices I've been planning for.
Really wish they had more info about the synth engines as the other stuff here is all available on their other devices (as welcome as they are for a piece of gear in this price range). Would love a quick rundown of each of the machines rather than an explanation of parameter locks... Still, this looks like a great piece of kit. (edit, also just want to say, Elin's demo sounds fantastic. Great host for the demo.)
They keep doing this, changing the aesthetic within a range. Underlines on the a4 mk2 black. White screen instead of yellow to match its sisters. And smaller syntakt font than its sisters.. Its like how do they get it so well and yet these details make me think there is a bossy idiot in the design team noone stands up to
@@callmemurphz no it isn’t. It has 12 voices, 4 of which are analogue. As it can play 12 sounds simultaneously, it is a 12 voice polyphonic synthesiser. Generally Elektron devices are 8 voice, so this is a 50% improvement on polyphony.
Will someone please get this girl a table that's a little higher up please? My back aches just watching. Otherwise, about as close as I'll get to a machinedrum without paying aftermarket prices. Looks cool!
You should update the digitakt so the midi tracks can be routed internally, including to the external mixer and effects. Give the external inputs a filter (including a base width filter) and overdrive and bit reduction, too.
Oh yuss THIS is vut I have been waiting for! The has Cycles already became one of my favorite pieces of kit ever and I have grown tired of the Boutique and Volca stuff. Think I will get an RC505mkii first and wait for the price to come down on the Syntakt/more updates/maybe for b-day/xmas...
Mad presentation and rundown from Elin ....was 🔥 Was kinda hoping for a box that was going to be wavetable and granular focused but this does look cool- bit more of an all rounder than I was expecting. Keen to find out the depth of the individual machines and what they have to offer!
I was hoping for a wavetable sampler cross. Something that could handle a combination of synthesis & samples. Not that I’m complaining about something more akin to monomachine/machinedrum hybrid.
I just found the Metrognomes and then lost them and it’s back to a Metronome again. How did I do that? Is it just random? Is it a secret button combo that I chanced upon? I’m now stuck trying to find them again and can’t concentrate on anything else!
@@andrzejkucharzyk9970 What character? A ton? I lived through low-resolution fonts being the best computers/embedded-microprocessor devices could do. Even if you like the fonts, there's no harm in having them on a clearer, bigger screen. Yes, the screens beat LCD screens, for example. On the fonts, if you like this sort of thing, check the "character" of a 16-character LCD screen you can't see in low light or from certain angles. Hey Elektron? Any way you could implement easy transpose up and down a semitone per track with a shortcut like FUNK+TRACK+up/down? On the Digitone it’s very easy to transpose by semitones…
I'm done... this is.. incredible
This is the one groovebox to rule them all. If I didn't have every other elektron box, I would instantly pick this up.
You said it, I am speechless. In the meantime I am going to go reassure my weeping OG Novation Circuit that I will not give it up for love nor money

Good stuff. This one looks like a winner. The jam with the 3 machines at the end is lovely.

This is such a super performance from Elin!!
i thought it was elin :D
This makes me less sad I sold my Machinedrum… and now I’ve ordered this.
Box looks interesting, not gonna lie kind of missing Cenk demo.
Yeah this is trash. The music sucks.
He has one and has put videos out. I checked out Elin’s music and it’s rad.
I love Cenk’s stuff too but I’m really digging the music in this video.
Cenk is terrible. Glad he’s gone.
@@SourDiesel69 lol 😆
Like all Elektron gear, it sounds amazing. I also like this presentation a lot by Elin Piel.
Give Elin a higher table
Elin Piel killing it!
Such a cool demo! Elin Rocks!
Does anyone know what that device in the upper right at 4:43 is?
My favorite of the new Elektron series. Especially after the update! Wish the paint on my trigger keys wouldn’t wear off tho 😢
Oh hell Yes! Looking forward to this!
track at the end is fantastic
some pretty dope tracks you created. really nice to listen to!
great machines but this Artist definitely stole the light . Amazing performance
Great work Elin! And great work team. Looks amazing.
Instant buy! Great presentation and epic performance at the end.
12 tracks! - fair play Elektron.

Damnit, I can only afford so many boxes. This sounds pretty rad. Someone get Elin a taller table.
Lol
Sweetwater or Zzounds…monthly
Awesome. Specially the jam at the end!
I agree that she needs a taller table, lower back pain coming soon!

Joking aside though, it looks like a solid addition to the Elektron family.
