The show was promising but man do none of the main characters act like humans. All they do is quip. One guy’s dad literally dies and ten minutes later the guy is like “I’m ok, back to joking time.”
Please write more actual human sounding dialogue for the next season and ease up on the quips and “banter”. This has so much potential!

Well if you wanted more, go ahead and leave that double thumbs up. They are certainly going to be checking that, and also number of use is probably going to count and they might include read watches. So perhaps leave that sums up and start rewashing, maybe start doing what social Media stuff or whatever to keep you sane if you start wanting to quit because the repetitions starting to take its toll.

I was born in 89 in the Soviet Union, we had a lot of strong woman on TV. Also I remember a lot of cool and strong woman from old American movies. Like Ripley from the alien franchise.
They all had flaws but also strengths. Nowadays the girls and woman are just perfect and the cis males are, according to Hollywood, stupid and the pest of the world.

Just watched it. I thought the ending was going to be rushed until there was this cliffhanger at the end which I'm hoping we'll get a season 2.
Yeah that’s why I’m not a big fan of ending something on a cliffhanger, because nothing is truly guaranteed afterwards

@@sagemaster1357 No, it’s not the same because Beyond was already being worked on simultaneously with Across. Eventually though, once it was decided that Across and Beyond was going to be a two parter, more resources apparently went to Across.
So it’s not like they ended it on a cliffhanger and didn’t already have a script or another one already in production. For Spider-Man we are guaranteed to see a conclusion in that regard

Brian Duffield was hired to serve as writer, creator, executive producer, director, and showrunner for the show; while Jacob Robinson would also serve as an executive producer. The project was announced to be a joint-venture production between Legendary Television, Powerhouse Animation, and Tractor Pants Productions; and was produced with intent to release exclusively to Netflix.

Television, President of ABC and Vice President of Netflix Originals Channing Dungey stated that an animated television series based on MonsterVerse was in development, after De Luca and Dungey decided not to allow any more adaptations of the series following MonsterVerse films of Godzilla vs. Kong. De Luca had asked to Frank Gabriel, Brad Graeber and Bruce Tinnin, people from Powerhouse Animation Studios to involve with the animated series Skull Island. Although Warner Bros. still owns the MonsterVerse franchise with the titles and rights to the names alongside with Legendary Entertainment, the project was confirmed to be still in development exclusively for streaming on Netflix.

With THESE characters, Kong SHOULD have been the main focus, as HE was actually gorgeously designed, and a pleasure to watch. The real problem with this cartoon was that the human characters were so impossibly stupid that you'd rather watch something that's not so entirely exhausting. The main characters were complete f'ing morons who stand around and talk in the middle of danger, take a year to react to literally every threat they face but somehow keep surviving, and scream at the top of their lungs when they're supposed to be sneaking around... and the MOST tedious and unlikable of them all, Charlie, will have you praying he gets killed in every scene he's in. Ditto for that human girl from the second to last episode, terrible design, annoying as hell... had me rolling my eyes at her along with Kong. I had had literally nothing else to do, otherwise I would have skipped this after episode 1.

"Are all boys as useless as you?" Imagine this was said to some girls as a character's opening line in a trailer? People would scream misogyny from the tops of their lungs. So why is normalizing misandry here allowed? It seems far too many writers today don't know how to make "strong women" without explicitly putting the males down. Snuffing out someone's candle does not make your candle shine brighter. Males are the primary demographic for this show...and people wonder why more viewers aren't tuning in with this kind of disastrous trailer!
