Everyone has hard times, and most people think at least once or twice about just giving up. That doesn't mean you are depressed. That's why it says, "we ALL flirt with the tiniest notion..." I guess what I am saying, this song is relatable for all of us.

Never knew them until i ended up making their food at huhot sioux falls,sd where they are from.....the girl I was dating at the time happened to fukkn kno,love,and follow them told me who they were .... Then after work.she shows me this ..... I loved it since then
in 2008(?) i was driving a girl in my car and played this song. she bawled her eyes out the first time listening to it- while I was attracted to TSP for their hook heavy rock and good drumming instrumental. I didn't really have any negative thoughts in my life when I was into this album. Yet here I sit in 2017 and as a 28 yr old man I am having my first suicidal thoughts. Someone told me the trick is to just hang on. This was the first song that came to mind and listening to it + reading the comments had me in twice the tears and snot the girl in my car ever was in. If any human being that is still breathing is reading this and is feeling the same way- join me in my fight to stay alive and find the treasure we all know is out there for us.

We both got talking and soon I didn't want to do it anymore, he told me that he was also planning on suicide that night. I saved him and he saved me. We connected and fell in love and thought no more about suicide. We're still together and deeply in love after 1 year, and we plan to be together forever. I've found my soulmate.
