Okay, so I’ve done this two times in a row. Was listening to I’m Made Of Wax Larry What Are You Made Of and someone commented on the choke slam and I read it as I saw it happen and now this comment

I've listened to this band religiously since "For those who have heart", and I just might have to say that this is my favourite ADTR song. There's just something so emotional about the bridge that makes me tear up every-time. Most influential band in my life for me.
My favourite is Right back at it again. As for most influential band, i'd say Fall Out Boy is mine. They've changed my style of both clothing and music XD
What an amazing band...you know you're awesome when your Fandom starts crossing generations. I just might be ADTR's oldest fan. I'm 45 and was indoctrinated by my kids, We've been taking our daughter (now 21 ) to their concerts since she was in JR High. She's been to every concert they have played in Texas. My son in High School started listening about a year ago and is also huge a fan. Even though their songs have been background noise in my house for almost a decade, I never really listened to them until now...all I can say is Wow! .Every CD is literally a masterpiece. The next time they are in DFW looks like Dads buying 3 tickets to the concert.
+Scott Cornatzer Hahaha! I am 56 and my son turned me on to these guys last week. It's got the melodic flavor of old Hawthorne Heights and I like it. OTOH, I also like some of ICPs stuff from the late 1990s.
This is awesome! You sound like a great parent. You let your kids blast it loud and helped them see their band. In turn you discovered some great. This is an amazing example of what an open mind can bring. \m/
I remember being 16 (Now 22), feeling lonely and sad, very depressed. Somehow, listening to the song today comforts me and hugs my inner child telling her that everything will be fine. I hope that you too have left the pain behind
Sometimes...the pain is the part that makes us...well...us. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have to live anymore. But I will always love the people that believed within me. :’) ...Thank you...my Rangers...
This album just shows that when you don't have record company constricting your music to how THEY want it, you get a absolute gem of a record. Rock on guys, Ill support you any day of the week
Best song on the album. This one gets the nod for number 1 not only because it sounds awesome, but more so because it carries such power when delivering the message. Pure emotion. I love it.
Does anyone else get emotional and empowered at the same tine when they listen to this song? It just feels like, you've done so much shit for everyone else and it's time that you do something for yourself.
+Eric Orozco me too this song has made me feel, well me...finally i feel like i can be me and no one else thank you A Day To Remember, i love you peeps!
As a true fan of ADTR, I could easily say that this is the best song they have ever made. I love literally every single one of their other songs, but this is definitely the best one.
I see a lot of people talking about the ending chorus, which is fucking amazing but what about "God help those who help themselves, and forget about everyone else. You lost your nerve, you missed the point. God help those with open hands, may they never feel burden again. Yeah I'll stand up for those who can't. I'll close the distance." I am seriously thinking of adding that onto my Adtr Tat I already have. God I feel those lyrics so much.
I love that part too but wouldn't consider tatting it just cause I don't believe in God, well I am unsure of my religion, but love that part anyway, sounds very meaningful!
awesome. I'm thinking about getting the homesick album art done on arm (see link that follows) reversed to the picture so that when i have my arm down at my side it is right side up. s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/43/06/1a/43061ab7b35276f2b4912a9f0ff2797d.jpg
I can't even fccking hear the lyrics. I don't know if it is a ME roblem or THE SINGER problem, but I just hear disjointed words outside the chorus. It's why I prefer fan-vids that feature lyrics as written letters.
"I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable Reserve my right to be afraid I make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way I want to be a better person, I wanna know the master plan Cast your stones, cast your judgment You don't make me who I am" Will get this tattoed.
I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable, reserve my right to be afraid. I'll make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way. I want to be a better person, I wanna know the master plan- cast your stones, cast your judgement; you don't make me who I am.
I discovered ADTR back in 2010 during an especially emotional time of my life and it wouldn't be the same if I hadn't. I bought all the albums and kept up with the two releases since then. Few bands manage to strike the same rhythm and character in the songs like they do. Thank you for the amazing music that's kept me up the last five years.
"I Reserve my right to feel unconfortable, reserve my right to be afraid I make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way I want to be a better person, I wanna know the master plan Cast your stones, Cast your judgements, you don't make me who I am" I simply love this song
To be honest at 0:24 I was not expecting this to get heavy as fucking ass. A Day To Remember is so fucking good. I love them man. They're so passionate about their music they make and they can pull multiple genres so well. Favorite band right now
+WOOOOOO! It reminds me of how powerful the line "I'll make my stand right here with my friends" was to me back when A plot to bomb the panhandle first dropped.
2:55 the switch to deep, calmer music is really interesting. The lyrics hit hard. This is going to sound weird, but bear with me. For some reason this section brings to mind some sort of fantasy hero giving a speech before their final battle.
This is the only song I've heard in my 40 years of life that I am not only willing, but extremely compelled to have the lyrics tattooed on my body. Bravo! ADTR is #1 in my books because they are the only ones who can not only write incredibly deep, meaningful and powerful lyrics, but also pull off the music and vocals to back it up. They are everything I wish Thrice would have been, had they not detoured away from what I felt made them so special. Any recommendations for similar God-Tier music, please hit me up in the comments.

It feels like this album just came out yesterday. Man, I can't tell you how much this album helped me through some of the worst times in my life. It's hard to believe it's been over 7 years now, where has the time gone?
I've been listening to this song everyday for the past few months it's truly helped me be able to survive. thank you, thank you so much for these words, i've never had a band be able to put into words exactly what i feel it's as though know me on a soul level. thank you adtr
I used to feel such a connection with ADTR because they sang about everything I was going through at the time. Now, 15 years later I'm married, have a great profession and have kids. I wish they could make a few songs of us all growing up and at least a smaller few having everything go right.
I feel like this is the best ADTR song to show to someone who hasn't heard of them. It covers the widest range of their sound, with a pop punk, catchy chorus, a metalcore inspired set of verses, and a soft interlude that's reminiscent of their softer stuff, with an ending that puts it all together.

eventually i will be getting the lyrics from this song tattooed on my ribs. "I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable reserve my right to be afraid. I make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way. I want to be a better person. I wanna know the master plan. Cast your stones, cast your judgement, you don't make me who I am" everyone has that song that just hits them the right way and you just feel that you connect with it so well, this is one of those songs for me.
I think it's their best album yet. I feel like the whole album is really heavy. Not in terms of sound ( although the heavy sounding tracks are amazing ), but in content. The lyrics to all the songs really hit home.
I’m leaving this comment here so that whenever someone likes it I’ll come back to listen to this masterpiece 🤘

eventually i will be getting the lyrics from this song tattooed on my ribs.
"I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable reserve my right to be afraid.
I make mistakes and I am humbled every step of the way.
I want to be a better person. I wanna know the master plan.
Cast your stones, cast your judgement, you don't make me who I am"
everyone has that song that just hits them the right way and you just feel that you connect with it so well, this is one of those songs for me.
Such a good band all these years later. Please never stop.
I think it's their best album yet. I feel like the whole album is really heavy. Not in terms of sound ( although the heavy sounding tracks are amazing ), but in content. The lyrics to all the songs really hit home.
