Ferris Bueller's Day Off being number one just feels right. I've watched that probably 10-15 times. And I sometimes still find a new detail! But all of John Hughes' movies hold a special place in pop culture!
@@CamRunsonFandoms yes, even though he didn’t start writing teen comedies until after 30 he had a connection with the teen demographic. He was known to write late into the early morning while smoking and listening to ‘80s music.
@ truly a legend!!! The fact so many of his films were written in such a short time and came out as amazing as they did proved how connected he was to his work and his audience!
@@STEVEHEROLD thanks. yes, film is forever and so is the audio commentary. I enjoy listening to Sidney Lumet and Robert Altman, it’s like they’re still with us. Spielberg refuses to do one, but that’s probably a good thing because he might try to fix a mistake on one of his classic films.
