Shout out to Uraraka, Asui and all the heroes on the ground level helping the people that are injured. They really stepped up. Also big props Miss Midnight she was a good hero and great teacher.
They really should have made Midnight's death believable. She suffered less than 1/10 of the injuries that almost all the heroes receive on pretty much a weekly basis. Especially Deku, he survived WAY worse injuries about half the time he ever even went into battle. Midnight's death was the most disappointing hopefully in the whole series. Everyone else was given a clear blaze-of-glory type death or at least a goodbye. Yet she instead just died offscreen to some random-looking dudes who probably sucked ass.
Remember how All Might's catch phrase was "I AM HERE!" The sign on his statue saying "I AM NOT HERE" is like the vandals saying there is no hope and no symbol of peace who is there to save them.
This episode did a pretty good job at showing the horror's of large scale catastrophes. It was a bit light because of how many people got out well, 15:13 is a reality. Most of the time in such situations, there has to be triage, because the number of victims far exceeds the number of doctors, nurses, emts and other ressources. Patients have to get sorted, and those with a low chance of survival... are left to die. Can you imagine making that choice? The choice to not help someone who might have had realistic chances at survival if the same thing happened to him in another situation where there were enough people to care for everyone? Can you imagine making the decision that this patient will die so you can have a better chance at saving others? And this is reality. Every day of the year, somewhere, exactly this happens. And doctors do have to make these choices. It also did well at showing how the situation eats away at those helping, how some lose hope, how some succumb to the pressure. And Sam said it well. Yes, we can feel bad for what some of the villains went through in their life/childhood. But there's no justification for what they did. No amount of childhood trauma excuses this. The amount of lives they took, the amount of lives they destroyed. Whether or not they used to be victims at some points, they are villains now. They are responsible. They are the only ones responsible. They are guilty. And them having a troubled past does no lighten the weight of their sins in the slightest. Millions of people have a troubled past. But they don't CHOOSE the path of a mass murderer, like these villains did. The real let-down of the episode is that despite having a perfectly reasonable explanation for Shiggy coming back to life they chose to establish the "HiS hAtReD rEvIvEd HiM" bullshit
I prefer Shigaraki being revived by his dreams and hatred, just because I'm a bigger fan of those kinds of tropes than ''well you see there's ackshually a perfectly logical and scientific explanation for this''
@@anusaukko6792 Yeah, I'm not gonna attack you over what you prefer! Everyone has those tropes they like, so that's perfectly fine. Personally, I wouldn't have put a reasonable explanation in place if I wanted to go for something like this.
I mean the kids were LITERALLY crying and yelling over Midnights body, they showed her still bloody hand laying there. They showed a HUGE screen picture of her before the mass casualty list. How much more proof do you need?
@@Arizona-ex5yt lol it's funny cause next episode they automatically believe it when Midnights name is dropped casually as one of the deaths in the raid lmao
I’m seriously wondering where the actual military is in all of this. There comes a point where police and heroes are incapable of dealing with this terrorist organization’s attempt to overthrow your country. Despite myths to the contrary, Japan does have one of the best militaries in the world. In this world, maybe they relied on All Might to prevent enemy invasions and don’t have much of a military.
-The "I'm not here" was so heartbreaking. I heard in the manga, it was against a grey sky, not a blue one. Also, the devastation kinda reminded me of Thanos' post-snap era.
The "I am not here" sign is a specific sting to All Might. If you remember, he'd always say "I am here" when he's on the job. Also, I remember a few people being pissed at Midoriya for the "he looked like he needed saving" when that chapter came out
Honestly this once I can forgive them for recaping, a lot did just happen in a short amount of time, and the Deku narration was adding new info as it went along at least
plus you had the scene at the start with Redestro and the commission. Smart move so people don't immediately turn off because "oh this is just a recap"
I totally understand feeling like Shigaraki is beyond redemption. Especially when you get a first class look at the aftermath of his horrific actions. But I don’t know, is it really fair for us to judge if someone or anyone is beyond redemption? But totally understand the sentiment of feeling like he can’t be save
they did show her picture. it took up the whole screen in fact lol. then the rest of the casualties

@@sweetnumb she isn't that strong and she got jumped. Also not every death has to be a blaze of glory

"Are we in denial?" We've definitely all been there when a character dies
As dark as this is getting, I have to say, “Hellish Hell” is unintentionally one of the funniest titles I’ve ever heard.

Maybe we need a filler episode of just Midnight’s autopsy, embalming, burial, and decomposition for them to understand.

It’s all part of the grieving process. Denial is one of them lol
When Morgan asks the question "how can AFO be there and in Shigaraki?" that question will be answered explicitly in the future so don't forget it.
The heroes lost… and that bastard All For One won

I believe they show the All Might statue too soon in the anime, I might be wrong, but I think it was supposed to appear later on.

Some of the few reactors that noticed Native died.
RIP Midnight
too bad she literally didnt get mentioned again
Bruh, ngl Midnight’s death hit hard as fuck tho 😔🙏🏾
The agent of the Commission is Hawks
11:41 wild how manga readers now know whats going on with Geten literally only 2 weeks ago lol
Geten sama himura. He's real pretty
"Damn they spent the first half of the episode recapping"

Anyhow, they never did a recap episode at the start of the season, so I forgive them
MIDNIGHT! 😭😭😭 WHY!?
Your reaction to the new opening is perfect!
this world shall know pain

I mean he lost his memories and was conditioned to be this way by AFO so he can be conditioned to be a different way. Seems reasonable.
11:44 😂 spoilers chapter 386 ish
Now All Night's never going to happen!
damn i hate heroes like that guy he is quitting for the wrong reasons and made me think of what stain did make sense...
