Absolutely. The .hack Series has been one of my most favourite Franchises out there. Gosh...I was 15 or so when it released in Germany and I absolutely loved the Story. I had some Friends playing it too and we always theorized. It was so much fun. Sadly I sold the Games back then. A big regret. But I would love to see a remake. Although they better not chance the Phases. Damn...they were scary when I was young and still are. hahaha
I just finished Infection, and I would love to see a remake with the same level of quality of Trials of Mana. It's a great game, but because there's so much room to improve, and how much gameplay trends have changed, (for the better mostly) you almost have to make a new game. Anyways, back to running in circles and pressing the x button on 200 pots for 1 small stat boost. 😅
Without a doubt yes!! I did a reddit page about how id create a remake of the games. From engine, new content, the works. So i can share it here in case youre interested. Even use it as a video as your thoughts and opinions on it. Id be open to answer questions about it too! An "interview" so to say
@KeyToDarkness it's quite long, so here's the link to it so that way it's easier for you. Again, I'm up for being a guest in the vid as if it was and interview you're doing. Sounds fun.
Absolutely 100% yes. I loved these games, I even went so far as watching the anime and reading the mangas when I was a kid. This was Sword Art before it knew what sword art was. It's one of my personal favorite game series as a whole. I was massively disappointed in the last recode Vol.4 game. It felt like they either ran out of time or just gave up on the game to me.
That is true! I would also suggest making content. Either fan art, stories, or even videos as it’ll get people to take interest in the series. Like a Fan-ran marketing lol
the ffxiv character jumpscared me. anyway if yes the games need a remake (i haven't watched yet but 100% they do) if they kept the combat similar and added a few QOL things such as reducing the amount of times you miss early on as well as making it so you dont need to navigate a menu each time you want to use a skill or item it would drastically improve the game. also fix grunty racing.
Is it? I’ll have to look into it! I sometimes misjudge how loud something is when I upload it lol. Thanks for the criticism! :) Edit: I wonder if there is a way to edit the max volume of it while it is already uploaded
A remake would be ideal however cc2 is tied at the neck with what they can do so it is highly unlikely we will get an imoq remake. In regards to the video they can very well pull off a remake without making gu seem awkward storywise even with graphics they can dumb it down if they choose so. I would however prefer seeing the character in a more immersive higher graphical world that still stays true to the overall story, feel, and gameplay (albiet overhauling the gameplay to be more user friendly). I think thats what anyone really wants out of it. There are plenty of ways they can screw it up as well but considering they did well with gu i think .hack is still close to heart for many of the developers at cc2
Reads title before watching video.
Me: Yes. Yes it does.
It absolutely does
Ohhh me !
Same

I think a proper IMOQ remake would definitely revive the series!

You can go ahead and write your thoughts here! Might open up ideas for a new video in the future

@KeyToDarkness seems the link can't show. You have discord i can share it to you?

I think they didn’t have that much time to develop Vol 4, I believe they only had 6 months to do so
Yes 100% need a remake.
Absolutely. 110%!
People need to email Bandai about it. Cyberconnect wants to, but Bandai has the say on it.

There needs to be a .Hack Legacy collection. Featuring remasters of the OG .Hack games, .Hack Last Recode, .Hack Link, and .Hack Versus.
The best collection to ever be released. Bandai need to do it

We can never forget the horrors that is the Grunty racing
Great video! Just a small bit of constructive criticism: I would suggest that you raise the volume of the video. Is very quiet. Cheers.

Always one of those "SOA is better" guys in the background. On every single post lol.
Curse you Kirito!!!!!

We can only hope that they will one day have something IMOQ related.
I don't need a remake. I'll take a port. Ridiculous that IMOQ is so console locked.
I’ll take anything at this point lol
