The closest I had to fix was when I was in college, and another girl botched this woman’s highlights, so I had to then go in and fix it with highlights and low lights. The next time she came in for me to fix it and I first saw it, it was so bad because it looked like she had bald spots initially.

Hair products, DIY or professional, are still very potent chemicals, mixing ones that are not supposed to be is not safe at all, it could ruin her hair of course, but the smell alone could make her sick. I found this channel yesterday. 10 minutes before redoing my entire hairstyle. I was a black box dye girly, but I used Color Oops., and followed the instructions carefully, and got to an Ed Sheeran orange, but after adding purple to it, I am IN LOVE with it. And I'm so incredibly appalled of how easily Color Oops., removed the black dye.
Not that I'm a fan of pranking, but that's a better alternative than her being genuine. Hopefully, she posted that mess then fixed it, but is playing the long game on the joke.

There is a whole drama in Spain cause an influencer pretended to do her own highlights with the L’Oréal box I think shown on the first video and she obviouslyyyyyy got it done professionally like it was super obvious she even had a shadow root.. and a hairdresser called her out on it and she made her lawyer sent him a cease and desist letter and make him apologize publicly and he exposed herrrrr as he should fiy guys

As an amateur at hair color who’s big on research & doing things right, Wella has a great chart on their website that lists all their toners & what colors they tone out. Also, the hair color at Sally Beauty is just as cheap as the pricier box dyes.

After watching so many Mondo videos all i can say is im so so glad i never went through a 'i need to dye my hair' phase as a teenager. Instead I cut a bad fringe, clipped it up for a few months, spent the next few years gradually improving at cutting my hair and ended up doing my families hair during the pandemic 😅 hair will grow back from a bad cut or is easily fixed that colour is such a hassle to fix and expensive

As a license cosmetologist,the application on the first girls head was terrifying 😳 😬 I do give her props through for trying but maybe do your research next time or get it done at the salon
I went to a hair salon two weeks ago and my hair looks just about as bad as hers lol. And I paid $140 dollars for it and it took four hours of my life because the girl was so slow. If she would have stopped talking about herself she could have gotten done much faster…. Anyway I had to change my part because where I parted my hair because my natural part was so messed up it looked horrible. They would t fix it because I signed a paper saying if they messed it up I wouldn’t hold them liable… I am already blond I was just getting my roots done it shouldn’t have been that big of a deal. I was needing my hair done quickly as I was going on a trip and wanted it done before that. I didn’t have time to wait for a new appointment so I went along with it thought what could go wrong? Well I found out… (I have hair almost to my butt) she washed my hair and was “ brushing” my hair aka ripping a brush through my long wet hair. I finally spoke up and said oh I usually put leave in conditioner in my hair before I brush it. She told me she would do that but she doesn’t like the way it makes her hands feel… 😂… so she’s drying my hair and you can see fly always EVERYWHERE so either she broke off a bunch of my hair or she fried a lot of it off by over lapping the bleach with the blond… she sees I notice and she’s like “oh that’s not from this service.. did you have covid?” And I said yea and she’s like “oh well that must be all the new re-growth from when you had covid because so many people lost so much hair from having covid”….. I had covid over 2 years ago… all the hair was at least an inch or longer that was broken off… it’s possible… but I’d doubt it considering my roots were also about that long… lol then she’s trying to part my hair down the middle and notices how badly she messed it up so she’s like “oh I think you need a side part today” 😂 lol proceeds to part my hair to the side and send me on my way… I go to my car and instantly put my mirror down to see what she did to my part and it was awful. I go in and just ask if they can fix it and she says she could at my cost because I signed that paper. So clearly never going there again… but just because it’s a salon doesn’t always mean it will be better lol. I could have done the same thing to myself for 20 dollars with a highlighting kit. Just saying.

I used to bleach my hair eons ago and wish that Brad was around then so I could have seen what NOT to do. Last year I chopped 30 inches off and went to a pixie (now growing out) to embrace the natural grey. I wish that Brad would do a video (if there are any out there) of women doing things to their naturally grey hair. I have a lot of large spots that are white and am trying to figure out how/what to do to my hair to get it all silvery white without mega damage and help from Brad would be perfect. PS-I love Brad's hair a bit longer like this with the "not overly done" style. PERFECTION!
I had a kit just like this and did my own set of highlights for the first time when I was around 18. It look AMAZING and I was so proud of myself. Tried to top them up a few months later and it was an absolute disaster 😭 same product, same method etc and I fucked it up so so bad I needed an emergency hair appointment the next day. I just got lucky the first time 😭🤣

I have always loved cosmetology ever since High School and dedicated two years of high school to that but due to things beyond my control I could not finish. Knock box dye kits all you want. I’ve been doing my hair with box dye bleach kits and color, with PERFECT results compared to any high priced salon. Just because it’s “professionally” done at a salon, doesn’t guarantee exceptional results. They don’t always know what they’re doing.

There is a whole drama in Spain cause an influencer pretended to do her own highlights with the L’Oréal box I think shown on the first video and she obviouslyyyyyy got it done professionally like it was super obvious she even had a shadow root.. and a hairdresser called her out on it and she made her lawyer sent him a cease and desist letter and make him apologize publicly and he exposed herrrrr as he should fiy guys

An "influencer" in Brazil had the audacity to try and pass her lipo as just gymn work. She outed herself during a podcast interview. When they went into the break, someone asked about her new thinner waist and she said she'd done a lipo... the MIC was open.😂

As an amateur at hair color who’s big on research & doing things right, Wella has a great chart on their website that lists all their toners & what colors they tone out. Also, the hair color at Sally Beauty is just as cheap as the pricier box dyes.

After watching so many Mondo videos all i can say is im so so glad i never went through a 'i need to dye my hair' phase as a teenager. Instead I cut a bad fringe, clipped it up for a few months, spent the next few years gradually improving at cutting my hair and ended up doing my families hair during the pandemic 😅 hair will grow back from a bad cut or is easily fixed that colour is such a hassle to fix and expensive

I went to a hair salon two weeks ago and my hair looks just about as bad as hers lol. And I paid $140 dollars for it and it took four hours of my life because the girl was so slow. If she would have stopped talking about herself she could have gotten done much faster…. Anyway I had to change my part because where I parted my hair because my natural part was so messed up it looked horrible. They would t fix it because I signed a paper saying if they messed it up I wouldn’t hold them liable… I am already blond I was just getting my roots done it shouldn’t have been that big of a deal. I was needing my hair done quickly as I was going on a trip and wanted it done before that. I didn’t have time to wait for a new appointment so I went along with it thought what could go wrong? Well I found out… (I have hair almost to my butt) she washed my hair and was “ brushing” my hair aka ripping a brush through my long wet hair. I finally spoke up and said oh I usually put leave in conditioner in my hair before I brush it. She told me she would do that but she doesn’t like the way it makes her hands feel… 😂… so she’s drying my hair and you can see fly always EVERYWHERE so either she broke off a bunch of my hair or she fried a lot of it off by over lapping the bleach with the blond… she sees I notice and she’s like “oh that’s not from this service.. did you have covid?” And I said yea and she’s like “oh well that must be all the new re-growth from when you had covid because so many people lost so much hair from having covid”….. I had covid over 2 years ago… all the hair was at least an inch or longer that was broken off… it’s possible… but I’d doubt it considering my roots were also about that long… lol then she’s trying to part my hair down the middle and notices how badly she messed it up so she’s like “oh I think you need a side part today” 😂 lol proceeds to part my hair to the side and send me on my way… I go to my car and instantly put my mirror down to see what she did to my part and it was awful. I go in and just ask if they can fix it and she says she could at my cost because I signed that paper. So clearly never going there again… but just because it’s a salon doesn’t always mean it will be better lol. I could have done the same thing to myself for 20 dollars with a highlighting kit. Just saying.

I used to bleach my hair eons ago and wish that Brad was around then so I could have seen what NOT to do. Last year I chopped 30 inches off and went to a pixie (now growing out) to embrace the natural grey. I wish that Brad would do a video (if there are any out there) of women doing things to their naturally grey hair. I have a lot of large spots that are white and am trying to figure out how/what to do to my hair to get it all silvery white without mega damage and help from Brad would be perfect. PS-I love Brad's hair a bit longer like this with the "not overly done" style. PERFECTION!
I had a kit just like this and did my own set of highlights for the first time when I was around 18. It look AMAZING and I was so proud of myself.
Tried to top them up a few months later and it was an absolute disaster 😭 same product, same method etc and I fucked it up so so bad I needed an emergency hair appointment the next day.

Knock box dye kits all you want. I’ve been doing my hair with box dye bleach kits and color, with PERFECT results compared to any high priced salon. Just because it’s “professionally” done at a salon, doesn’t guarantee exceptional results. They don’t always know what they’re doing.
When Brad said he would need an eye transplant if he saw the first girl in person, had me dying! 😂😂
