流水で一気に冷ますと強度出ますか？

強度というのが少しわかりにくいのですが、
鉄を流水などで急冷すると焼きが入った状態になります。
焼きが入るとは簡単に言うと固くなるという事です。
固くなるのが強度と言われれば強度は増すと言えます🧐
しかし…固くなると割れやすくなります。
この辺りをどう捉えるのか？は品物によると思いますが、
鉄の場合、私は基本的には急冷はしませんね💦
因みに、一般的なステンレスなら急冷したりしますよ☝️😎
