Very nice and clean job with this idea. You are a master of metal modeling, even so I don't know how is the sound in a metal enclosure. I'm presuming this is aluminum and you fitted al the electronics inside, including the Bluetooth module which by the way it might be affected by the metal regarding the signal range. I guess it will act like a Faraday cage.... just saying... But overall your job is …. a piece of art 👍👍👍

I love the idea. Just wondering how having the left and right channels on the side and firing away from the listener sounds. The big speaker must be a sub so can go anywhere really but the left and right tweeters should be facing the listener. Just a thought. Love it all the same

Thanks Steven! The main thought was to have it placed in the corner of a room, so the sound would bounce from the walls and fill the room. Simply a play around though, so may not work, but it sounds ok so far and looks pretty funky!

I WANT IT!! looks like i'm makeing a seat then boooooooo lol, wireing up the drill gets my vote, it cant be any worse than when i had to wire my lath up, when i got it all it had was a wire coming out the motor with a 13a plug on it, it now has a on of switch 2 emergincy stop switchs lite and coolent pump switches, and i only electricuted my self once while doing it haha!!

I did plan on that! I’m not sure if the body is stiff enough not to affect it, or it’s just having it only working in the garage, but it seems to not need it! May well change after a bit more playing!

I can imagine how bad this sounds. Not only would the shittiest chipboard sound less resonant than the sheet aluminium used, the Theile/Small parameters of the bass driver would be totally incorrect for an enclosure of that size.
