Definitely exercises . I have exercised all my life so am very happy to say that after 60, my body is firm and toned. Zero crepiness. Except for the interior of my forearms which came as a shock. Not surprising as I never exercised those parts of my body. So for the last 4 months, I exercise daily and I have reversed the trend.
I am 61 and just like you I've been a fitness fan but all of a sudden my insides of arms have gone really crepey !!! 😮I was so shocked and am really upset and embarrassed and insecure about it especially as people have always said I look much younger than my age!! You look amazing but you are too young to know how REALLY dry, crepey skin is so hard to manage!!! When you are over 60, you will be SHOCKED how much crepeyness you have and, I have exfoliated, moisturized and massaged my skin with absolutely NO benefits!! It makes you want to scream. It is not as if I waited until this age to care for my skin, I have ALWAYS taken care of my skin!!! I know that many OLDER women can relate to what i am saying!!!
I’m 55 and exfoliating with a washcloth every day, a body oil and shea butter is so important. The daily moisturizing really works. Twice a day if you find your skin dry at night. You clean your face twice a day & moisturize why not add on that extra cream on your body before bed. I do everything she’s says and genetics help a lot too but my skin is really healthy. I’m lucky I always did this Routine once I hit my mid 20’s. Love this wisdom. Thank you.
These tips might be good for certain age groups. I'm 65 years old, and would never consider exfoliating because the skin thins as you age. And crepey skin is the most difficult to manage.
I am 62. Yes, my skin is thinner, but I still exfoliate. It just feels better. Exfoliation does not take away the good, live skin. It only removes the dead stuff. You do not want that there. Well, I don't want it. 😀
Must add. If you take blood thinners they break down skin. It can literally rub off. Happened to my darling dad Stay healthy. Drink lots of water and stay calm and positive Get fresh air and a little sunshine ❤️. 73 here 😘
There are people who are much older who look years younger. Some people have really good genes BUT what you put INTO your body is even more important than what you do on the outside. You can polish and scrub your skin as much as you want but if you're NOT feeding your body right the signs will show. I just eat mostly clean (excess sugar and processed foods are your biggest enemies). Whole foods, no snacking in between meals and plenty of water. Avoiding stress where you can with some meditation or yoga or both also helps enormously. People who are constantly stressed out also tend to age faster that's why I try to do something relaxing everyday and have a good laugh.

i want to tell you some thing, i've turned 29 lately and my body and face started to sagg it's a little bit early but that's my genetics and my bad habits of eating, i was hopeless i have now cellulite even in my arms and my body is not firm at all i started to hate it, and hate lokking at it, i've started exercicing eating healthy food massaging in a few mounthes the results are so tinny so i've lost more hope but now when i saw you at your age having this amazing body just gave me hope and made me so happy thank you so much
I exfoliate my body 2-3 times a week and I still find my body skin beautiful and fresh and I also don’t smoke and I don’t drink alcohol . I take water maybe 2-3 liters a day but my problem that makes my skin hydrated. right now because I’m starting to have my menopausal symptoms my face begins to starts wrinkling that’s why I’m starting to find ways to slower my aging at age of 46 . Now I do trying to build muscles on my arms because I don’t want my skin sagging as I get more older . I exercise regularly and really taking care of my face/ skin double as before . I also hate my stretch marks on my stomach because of giving birth 😅I wish I could turn back the time and i did take care of it when I was very young ! Anyway ,I love your skin and the color ! Collagen is ineffective when used topically. There are powder forms of it that u can add to smoothies, juice, etc. That's your best bet while also of course being realistic about results. There is no way to truly reverse aging.
Lucky you girl! When some of us have to deal with varicose veins, hyperpigmentation and all sorts, no amount of exfoliating or exercise seem to work. Even depriving oneself of certain foods hasn’t done anything.
There are some women like myself whom are 39 going through menopause, and have been going through it for 6 years. I had to be put into surgical menopause, so it does help to see someone who is around my age that is also battling with the same thing. There are a lot of younger women going through menopause with “Crepe-y” skin and under 40 like myself. What you eat and the correct supplements can strengthen the roots of your teeth and stop problems before they start. Just brushing/water pik is like moisturizing your face but not your neck or delecotage. (I misspelled that, but it is French.)

It usually takes quite a while to build muscle and you have to have other muscle building habits, especially over 40. You should check out Melissa Neil's videos. She specializes in building muscle for women over 50. Hope that is helpful

You are way too young to know that dispite taking excellent care of skin. At 70 yrs old? It happens.😔. I have been an person who excercised since my early 30's. And I DO mean excercise! I was a fittness trainer. I DO ALL of what you are telling people. Yet....... HOPEFULLY we will age. There is ONLY way not to. I believe most want to participate in life for as long as God permits. So the "side effects" of living a life well lived is WORTH the " side effects" . So. Older folks. Keep rockin life! You are still the beautiful person you always were. With some " service stripes"! 😊

I tried City Beauty's face firmer for almost 6 months and their crepe eraser for 2 months. I tried another high end brand as well. They are expensive to purchase...and did nothing for those problem areas. I've had little luck with firming products. They simply do not work like they promise to. They are simply a moisturizer for skin sags. Sag remains...but it's just moisturized. Still WAVING IN THE WIND. I think exercise is the only way to effectively tighten saggy skin. If you are like me with shoulder/neck conditions...working those areas via weight-bearing exercise is extremely difficult, risky and painful. The best exercise I have found to firm these areas up...are vibrator platform machines with hand ropes for arm curls. Too bad it doesn't work on my face!

I get lines like that from eczema due to eye makeup allergies. I would see if it goes away if you stop using eye makeup or anything else you put on your lids. If so, then introduce one product at a time until you find the culprit. Btw, I am quite sure no one sees these as I can only see mine in a magnifying mirror. :)

Micro needling should be one word there are some good videos on TH-cam but hear this: you don't have to use pressure the needles are just making tiny channels so a product (personally I like 'The Ordinary' one pump 'buffet' one pump ' matrixyl' does whole face) the roller kits will have instructions. Important only do one area every 3 weeks (hear). You can roller from head to toe and very careful around eyes, try to stay on the eye socket bones. If your working on boney areas like hands and you see a drop of red rub it in. Also look at collagen powder Supplements there are a couple that give you types 1,2,3,5,10. Cheers!

You can't add collagen to your diet. It's a protein that will simply be digested and breaken down by your stomach.

You are way too young to know that dispite taking excellent care of skin. At 70 yrs old? It happens.😔. I have been an person who excercised since my early 30's. And I DO mean excercise! I was a fittness trainer. I DO ALL of what you are telling people. Yet....... HOPEFULLY we will age. There is ONLY way not to. I believe most want to participate in life for as long as God permits. So the "side effects" of living a life well lived is WORTH the " side effects" . So. Older folks. Keep rockin life! You are still the beautiful person you always were. With some " service stripes"! 😊

I tried City Beauty's face firmer for almost 6 months and their crepe eraser for 2 months. I tried another high end brand as well. They are expensive to purchase...and did nothing for those problem areas. I've had little luck with firming products. They simply do not work like they promise to. They are simply a moisturizer for skin sags. Sag remains...but it's just moisturized. Still WAVING IN THE WIND.
I think exercise is the only way to effectively tighten saggy skin. If you are like me with shoulder/neck conditions...working those areas via weight-bearing exercise is extremely difficult, risky and painful. The best exercise I have found to firm these areas up...are vibrator platform machines with hand ropes for arm curls. Too bad it doesn't work on my face!

I get lines like that from eczema due to eye makeup allergies. I would see if it goes away if you stop using eye makeup or anything else you put on your lids. If so, then introduce one product at a time until you find the culprit. Btw, I am quite sure no one sees these as I can only see mine in a magnifying mirror. :)

Micro needling should be one word there are some good videos on TH-cam but hear this: you don't have to use pressure the needles are just making tiny channels so a product (personally I like 'The Ordinary' one pump 'buffet' one pump ' matrixyl' does whole face) the roller kits will have instructions. Important only do one area every 3 weeks (hear). You can roller from head to toe and very careful around eyes, try to stay on the eye socket bones.
If your working on boney areas like hands and you see a drop of red rub it in.

The high heat removes oils (that's why you use it to wash dishes). And probably causes other damage that a splash of cold after is not gonna make up for.
