Love the review!
Wow, thanks a ton for the love! 🙌 Really glad you dug the review! Means a lot. Would love to get you on a podcast interview sometime!
I have the old version, and it goes in my daily rotation from time to time. Frankly, I can't imagine even more padding on the straps, as they already feel like overkill on a bag this size. The upgraded liner and sternum strap would be nice, but not enough for me to want to repurchase the new version. As for color, one thing to note is that the green is actually a different material from the other 2- VX42 as opposed to VX21. This makes the bag slightly heavier and stiffer feeling, but also significantly more abrasion resistant.
I agree, it's similar to a new car! Nice new features but not enough to warrant buying a new replacement. Thanks for your thoughts!
The shoulder pad is very hard for me. It hurts.
The V2 should be an improvement over the V1. The straps themselves are much more cushioned compared to the first version.
Relatable back problems 😂
A sign of maturity but mostly just getting old. 😭
@@urbancred 😂🥲
The back panel sucks. Your back will sweat even in moderate temps. Other than that, it is a great bag.
Fingers crossed on taking your feedback and improving it more in the future.
Is your comment about the back panel based on lived experience with the bag or just an observation of what you think will happen? I’ve seen this comment a few times but no reviewer has expressed a big issue with it. Thanks.
@@geep8591 IIt's from my experience wearing the XPAC version. I also own a Ripstop version but haven't tried it out yet.
