I had to read thru all the comments here to make sure this wasn't already said but..... To add to what all has been said to this truly historical moment in their LORE, this Encore performance was the only time they have ever played this in public (that I know of), for anybody. They made a video of it in their basement, but that isn't live like this is. This was also a private invite only show, for their Kickstarter reward, for a couple hundred fans from all over the world, that flew in to take part in this incredible 2 hour show by them. This being done on a request from the owner was one that they honored with pride. Think on that.... They didn't play this song a 100 times previously on a stage, 50 times, or 25 times, just ZERO times. What fascinates me so much about this is all that, plus watching them do something live in one shot, with all it's subtle differences, all it's nuances, and it's all just one of a kind. It's just fricking special. It is also the performance that sold me on them after watching Survive on the 2017 Ted Talk. I had to listen to this every day before I left for work for several months when I first found them. Became a ritual. The only problem isn't really a problem but I wish Pau wasn't lost in the shadows so much, the camera placement could have been tweaked a little, but for a live recording in a small club it is FIRE. This was their encore after a two hour set and they were exhausted, but that's never stopped them. Good one, Thanks.

You know what dude. You just said this was a testament of what they were going to become now. You should go back even further and react to XXI Century Blood official video. G-n-R played The Whiskey, among a lot of others, and TW opened for them in Monterrey, Mexico their hometown then again in Hollywood, FL. They canceled opening for them after being invited to the 2023 VMAs. The Whiskey is a small venue of 250 in West Hollywood, CA. Only a mile or so from The Troubadour where I met TW. How can that be when *Atlas Rise* was in bold letters on Ale & Dany's playlist that was taped on the stage next to their peddle boards. *Atlas Rise* was their *"surprise encore".*

Here's the complete scoop of *Atlas Rise.* Since your comment section has a piece here & a piece over there. Few weeks before this show. The Warning released a TH-cam video of *Atlas Rise* recorded in their basement studio called *The Cave.* They decided after the released of their 2nd independent album *Queen of the Murder Scene.* They figured they have enough original material. That it was time to say goodbye being a cover band. This was a special Kickstarter Campaign Private Reward Show at the Whiskey. This show was not open to the public. With the success of *Queen of the Murder Scene* album. This was a special show playing for a fan who donated the amount for a private show. This show was on Jan of 2019. *Atlas Rise* was the surprise encore (It was written down on Dany & Ale's Setlist by their peddle boards. Why they played it. I don't know for sure. Heard several fables. Really doesn't matter anymore. The Warning just finished an hour & 45 minute set. Had something left in the tank for *Atlas Rise.*
They played it, they nailed it but perhaps they shouldn't have. If I remember both Pau and Ale after the show weren't doing well, but it might have been a different show I am thinking about.
This is by far the higher energy version of AR. We all know what a live audience does to The Warning. Only one reason I'd suggest you visit their original version of this in The Cave when they were first leaning this, is because in the Whisky version Pau's double kicks gets washed out in the mix. To hear her true mastery of the drums take a listen. th-cam.com/video/ujrHJH3yovc/w-d-xo.html DPA rock...🤘
How about Ale in the pocket and on time. Not enough of Ale in this video. The Warning Cave cover vives her equal time. You didn't even mention her. This is the last time they've done a cover. A cover encore, not gonna happen. They only played this as a birthday present to the Whiskey manager.

If I remember right Ale was 13 at this show and afterwards she was exhausted.
Oh dang! That’s wild.
Hey dude, love your vids and this 30 day format!!! Please, please, please, don't miss out on these:

Keep on rockin' man!
Excellent reaction to a great cover that not many 3 piece bands can do (especially teenagers). If you like their covers try the Liceo concert and official The Pretender video by Foo Fighters.
Thanks for finishing the song. The last deauch to promise a reaction clicked it off halfway through, and said Dany's guitar solo sucked. The only thing that dude likes is Choke, but doesn't even appreciate the blood, sweat and tears they put in to get that good. SMH. But this is great, I don't care what anyone says.
How can that be when *Atlas Rise* was in bold letters on Ale & Dany's playlist that was taped on the stage next to their peddle boards. *Atlas Rise* was their *"surprise encore".*
Dany is brutaaaaaaaaaaaal !
I was there that night! They were incredible! They played for a bit over two hours and the pace never slowed down. They blew the roof off The Whisky! Got to go to dinner with a few fans and the band afterward.
Looks Whisky Go Go because is in Whisky Go Go. Greetings from Argentina.
🤘🤘🔥🔥
The Kings 🤘
QUE LES PARESIO ,,😎🤘
Keep in mind 5 years ago they were 14 17 19
So far I have read so many different ages in the comments that I don't know which are the correct ones, if you scroll up you will see what I mean.
@@SDsailor7Dany was born on January 30th, 2000. If you know the date of the performance, the math is fairly trivial. Regardless, the description for the source video tells us everything: Dany 18, Pau 16, Ale 13.
@@jayhegener3028 Yes, that is correct.
Thank you
HOW ARE THEY THAT GOOD?!?!
Dany said in an interview that because they are sisters they have telepathic esp on stage or something
lol Thats dope!
Absolutamente fantástico 🤘🤘🤘depois de duas horas de show elas fizeram isto🤘🤘🤘
DPA/TW played this cover of *Atlas Rise* at the Whisky A GoGo's 55th anniversary, 24 Jan 2019... it was the last song of a 2 hour gig with 22 songs played... the manager of the Whisky is a huge Metallica fan and the girls decided to do this cover for them... they originally played it in The Warning Cave (video available) several years before... they played it at this show with a few days practice and completely knocked it out of the stadium! you can tell Ale is worn slap out but powers through to the end... i can't say that i blame her... AFAIK, this is the longest song, cover or original, they have played... this is the last time they have played a cover in a public show... we don't know what the future holds, though 😜 😹
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
that is Pau's standard concert drum kit layout... since then there's also the addition of the Pau-bell (used in *More* )...
notice, also, that she is not using her DW kit frame, yet...
Fun Fact: Pau's home/practice drum setup has 14" and 16" floor toms... in concert she uses 16" and 18" floor toms...
TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
Are you her roadie?? Lol that epic!
@@ReactAttack90 nope, not a roadie... a simple fan and supporter that has seen their growth from ~2012 to today...

This was the encore that night lol
the girls from , The Warning,
For my taste it is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the Black Hearts and Heart.
greetings from Mexico.
Another banging reaction. Just another great performance by these young women. If you get a hankering, another cover would be Foo Fighters “The Pretender” when they were 15, 13 & 11 and influenced a lot by the Foo Fighters. Remember, the FF’s had 3 guitars, Dany was by herself.
The Warning will be the next metallic “female version “…and I mean colossal.
The fact that three teenage girls are doing this onstage at the freaking Whisky A Go-Go is just insane.
My recommendations where to go next would be to check out some of their Spanish songs & the short documentary:
Martirio Music Video
Narcisista live at Teatro Metropolitan
Tidal Rising documentary
Pau's kit is actually marginally bigger these days. She added a cowbell!
...and french fries....:)
Yes, Dany can shred.
I am not sure 30 days is enough!
You may have been told this already but it was the end of the night as you saw encore but it was way past Ale's bedtime and you can see a little weariness in there but she ended like a champ like she always does the professional that she is
Wow imagine that, a drummer who is keeping time !!!!!! 🤣 Pau beat out Lars for the Drumeos! Danny and Ale fill in the sound that Metallica has with two guitars!!
It was Epic to see them do it at the Whiskey!!!!
⚡️TWA⚡️
Not lost on me that Ale is mirroring Dany's guitar for about 90% of the song. In other words, Ale haters can go pound sand. LOL!
Check out their cover of Motley Crue Kickstart My Heart th-cam.com/video/faM1mBaba3c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ulb1VlWmbESdn-XB
Ey, amigo. Genial, igual debo confesar que me gusta mucho más escuchar las composiciones de The Warning que los covers que hace la banda.
Has hecho ya Sinister Smiles?
o Kool Aid Kids?
Tal vez, Animosity?
Hunter en el Metropolitan del 2022?
No sé si Queen of the Murder Scene en el Metropolitan, también?
O algo más tranquilo como "23"?
O Show Me The Light?
Black Holes?
o Revenant?
Martirio, canción en español?
Saludos desde la Patagonia Argentina.
The Warning nos une.
Sorry dude, covers are a thing of their past...notice they haven't played ES recently? If they do a cover it will most likely be something we've never heard them play before.
Thanks to TW I have a greater appreciation for Metallica. Before I saw TW perform Kick Start My Heart I didn't know Motely Crew had any good songs lol.
As great as Dany and Pau are here, Ale. on bass, had just turned 14 the month before.

DPA rock...🤘
How about Ale in the pocket and on time. Not enough of Ale in this video. The Warning Cave cover vives her equal time. You didn't even mention her.
This is the last time they've done a cover. A cover encore, not gonna happen. They only played this as a birthday present to the Whiskey manager.
The version of this shot in The Cave is amazing too.
th-cam.com/video/ujrHJH3yovc/w-d-xo.html
BTW, were you pay homage to James by spelling the band name "Mettlica" in the title? He did that once when in the studio.
no but I should have left it that lol
you know?? 🤣
You still havent got to their best music video
XXI Century blood.
I got you 😉
As always, The Warning destroyed this song!
Like number 667,…you’re welcome. They’re not a bad band but after an entire month,…I’m burned out on them. Seriously, if I like a song or two from a band I’ll look for more myself. A month straight is too much. Look, I just don’t want to hate them by the end of the month,..ya know? …. Side note, Metallica died with Cliff. RIP CLIFF BURTON
See ya at the end of the month then I guess? Lol
@@ReactAttack90 Do you have a band in mind for next month yet?
