I did ask a question in a lawyers forum. one of the biggest statements the divorce attorneys here is 'we were fine and then the kid(s) came'. children do NOT save marriages, do NOT cement relationships. they have the opposite effect

Story 1 - That was a pitiful and painful almost 22 minutes. I hate it when people take the blame for their assh*le exes cheating on them. Op should read this out loud over and over and cringe at what a doormat simp he sounds like. Op should have considered this marriage in trouble the moment he realized she never went out of her way to tell him she loved him. There's so many ways to show someone you care and it didn't even sound like op's ex was trying to put in the minimum effort. She didn't end her marriage sooner because she wanted to make sure her affair partner would stick around before she burned her safety net. I don't understand why this woman thinks her AP will be a good father material when he's not even pulling his weight for the three kids he already has. Story - NTA but I still think op needs to get over whatever mommy or daddy issues they have to keep making the kids spend time in a home they're clearly not welcomed. Jim resents having to pay child support for all three kids so he figured "if I can claim one of them isn't mine I'd only have to pay for two of them and the money I save I can spend to keep my wife happy".
From 1-10 with 10 being the most spineless I’d say he’s about an 8. I’ve heard much worse but this still hurt to listen to. I honestly can’t stand to finish it.
Story 1: Given the ex-wife's shenanigans, when OP's daughter hits 16, she'll run away from her mother and grandparents to couch-hop with fake friends, next, at 18, she'll stay with/marry a boy who cheats on her, become homeless with a baby on the way, and have to stay at a halfway house, then, get a passport, plus a visa, move to the US, apply for US citizenship, and stay temporarily with roommates, find a cheaper apartment (in Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL), take online college courses, work two jobs to provide her baby as a single mother, and rely on neighbors as her new support system, because she won't OP, other relatives, or friends in the US to help out; all the daughter and her baby will have is each other.⚠️
