NO ONE This is a wig. She was a brunette here. There’s a photo of her holding this wig with brown hair and a video of it being put on. She dyed it a burgundy color after this, and not until much later did she do the auburn red

If only The Little Mermaid live action auditioning happened ten or fifteen years ago! Sierra would’ve been it, hands down! But so glad she got to do the Broadway production, and Halle Bailey will certainly do us proud! Her voice is just as heavenly and amazing!

Am aging myself here, but as I here this song, and it is a lovely song, it reminds me so much of a song that I heard when I was in college, 'Somewhere that's Green', from "Little Shop of Horrors"! I do believe the composer is the same though I am not sure. The 2 songs are so similar and the lyrics, though very different, have the same sense of hope. if anyone is interested, listen to the song from Little Shop, and the above song, and, especially, in the last few bars, find if they sound similar to you, too. Again, both lovely, full of hope and both oddly similar in melody and structure. BTW...Love Sierra Boggess and hope that as she is very known for theatre in the UK, that she will be as popular in the US. See her in many roles from Anna to Laurie to Julie Jordan...the very 'Americana' roles from our golden age of Broadway. Beautiful and powerful voice.
Gary Peter You are correct. Alan Menken composed the music for Little Shop Of Horrors and The Little Mermaid & Howard Ashman wrote the lyrics for both.

Me and my ex gf use to go out and sing karaoke. She would sing this song and it was amazing. she left me awhile ago but I still love her and think of her quite often and when missing her becomes to much to bare I listen to this.

Jodi's version was, respectively, very Disney Princess-like. Which I love. Sierra is singing the song the way the Broadway version is written. Very rare does a Broadway show not the "main" song not belting. Both singers are very talented and sang this song beautifully.

Disney hasn’t announced the castings for the live action The Little Mermaid but please disney, cast someone who will play this iconic character like how Sierra and Jodi did.
Sierra perfectly embodied ariel in live action form and she just exceeded everyone’s expectations, so the next Ariel will have big shoes to fill. I don’t care if you’ll cast a newbie actress, what we need is the aura and angelic voice of Ariel, may it be asian, caucasian, black or any ethnicity, as long as she embodies ariel perfectly.

THIS is how you sing Part of your world. The live action version feels lacking for me. The high notes and belts.
I loved how Sierra seemed so humbled by the reporters complements. She really did appriciate the feedback. And the children's reaction's to her fantastic vocals made me well up with emotion! She knows how to capitivate people young and old!
