"If you've been a crafter for more 10 mins, you will probably have the supplies " 😅 My aunty's gave me alot of supplies to get started,Now I have my own,it's never ending 😂
I love how you can sometimes pick up an improved way to do a technique you are familiar with! Today, it was the tip of turning the inked up block for a second smoosh over the same shape so that you get more puddling. Great video for beginners and fun for me as a...not-a-novice =)
This was a wonderful video. It covered everything that I have been researching for creating background's for frames. I was having little success. So thank you for sharing this information.🥰
It is so nice because it is so unpredictable ❤ especially the embossingpowder, sometimes you get alcohol ink edges effect, if you know what I mean, gorgeous.
Hi Lou - great video - thanks so much. I've been wanting to learn some tips & techniques for ink smooshing. I love the embossing powder technique. Looks fabulous. :)
Once again, thank you, Lou, for sharing your knowledge. I have seen the last technique but with alcohol inks and foil sheets. Also pretty. Thanks, Lori
Thank you! Really great ideas!! Yes, an apron is a great idea! You do think of everything!! 💕 Yes, I would love more of these videos! Do you think that the distress Oxide spray would work? I (for some unknown reason) bought a ton of those and need to find ways to use them.. I may try them! I think that the embossing powder is genius…that stuff adds so much excitement to everything we put it onto! Thank you!
Thanks for the tips, they are so helpful. I was hoping you were going to show how you did the geometric dragonfly.. any chance you can do some more techniques that feature this beautiful and versatile stamp??❤
Thanks for the link to your earlier video. I recently picked up these stamps plus the constellations at so looking forward to making a bunch of them and putting into practice the techniques you have explained. Thanks so much for sharing your talents on You Tube, they are always super helpful. :-😀
Hi, just wanted to ask if you could use alcohol inks as the smooshing technic? I have a lot of alcohol inks and I was just thinking that would be pretty. I think Yupo paper is what to use for that. What do you think. Love love your videos. I watch you every week from Albuquerque New Mexico. ❤️ Keep up the excellent videos.
Loved the embossing powder result. Thank you Lou☺ x

Thanks Lou, this video has made we feel more confident to try again, the embossing is very cool. Jenny ❤😊
Now I will have beautiful back grounds on hand for all of my projects. Thank you
What a fantastic tutorial, Lou! I have struggled with smooshing, but now I feel confident enough to give it another go. Thank you!

This! It’s just what I needed today after trying a different smooshing technique with less than optimal results earlier this week. Thank you!
I’m so glad! 😌

Do you have any videos of cards you’ve made with the smooshing pieces? Thanks
I used it on this dragonfly one which I shared at the start of the video th-cam.com/video/U6TgCFOgQ44/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TOS0ShB9t2m9wp07 x
Love your use of the embossing powder. Would that work with the distress oxides too?
They tend to dry a little more evenly but certainly not impossible!

Hi, yes I think you could, you would just need to work a little bit faster x
