Found it! Had to chuckle to myself when you were 'blending' the 2nd swatch, you kept putting the 2nd colour brush into the 1st colour - I so wanted to shout at my TV to tell you but couldn't lol x
This is hands down the BEST explanation I have ever heard to explain the difference between oxide and inks! Thank you so much! Just discovered your channel about 2 months ago and because of the previous series, I have gone from about 8 oxides to about 60 now 😂. So excited to see a new series! ❤❤❤
I love this idea! I can't wait to see all of your new shades. This really extends our inks. I love that you've compared the mixes to existing colors. That's really helpful. Thank you so much!
Thanks Lou. Really appreciate you sharing your color knowledge with all of us. Something I definitely struggle with at times. I also really appreciate this new series because unfortunately I can't afford to purchase all the colors so this will help me expand the colors I already have. Thank you too for providing the charts and organizational ideas so we can find all the wonderful color ideas you share with us. This will be an awesome series. Your amazing!😊❤
Lou, the way you explain it was perfect!! So very helpful!! I always love to increase my stash!! I appreciate you taking the time for the videos and downloads!!
Hi Lou, I think that first mix could be called Musk. I hear from one of the suppliers that the new Ink is going to be launched on the 13th January and they are taking orders - woohoo! Looking forward to this series. Love the abandoned coral with the squeezed lemonade - beautiful. Have a wonderful day and thanks.
Genius idea for a series, Lou! Some of these combinations really surprised me too. Some of these could be used as skin tones, especially the Hickory Smoke and Salvaged Patina combos. A couple of names sprang to mind for me.... the Mermaid Lagoon one could be "Thunder Cloud"
These are gorgeous colours, am looking forward to the rest of the series! I've been loving the look of Peacock Feathers layered on Mowed Lawn but never considered trying this out with other oxides, too! Excited to see where you'll take it.
This is a fun new series Lou! Great idea! And you gave me a new idea aswell. What if you put down a colour and then a stencil and then the second colour. That could be fun! 😊 And the colournames I thing would be mostly vintage I think🙃
Fab idea! I’m planning on going back through the first series and making all the swatches on low mojo days, so I can do these at the same time and just play around with my oxides. I’m excited to see what the final Distress colour is- release date soon🤗🇦🇺
Lou, this is such a cool idea for a series ❤❤❤ Thanks for also giving us the different charts to print. You are a star and I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of this series.
I absolutely LOVE the abandoned coral and stormy sky color combination!! 😍🤩 Trying to remain inline with Tim's naming conventions, I'd name this one "muddled mauve" 😉😊
I love this! I had in my mind when I recently bought my limited number of distress oxides that I hoped they would mix to create more colours but had yet to try it. I loved your original series that just finished and am very excited about this new one. Thank you!
This is going to be an interesting series, one I'm looking forward too seeing more of. All of these samples have a suede look to them. Love the chart as well. Not sure about color names but loved the peach melba name for the last one!
Brilliant! I would never have thought of doing this. Already my blending has really improved using the tips from your previous playlist on oxides. This will be fun to try. ❤
Ooh another fab playlist to look forward to! This will save us all a lot of money, and ni doubt some interesting new colours. Thanks Lou and a Happy New Year 😊
That orangy one I would call Orange cycle, that dark blue one I would call night fall, and the rest I’m lost. lol but that is what them 2 brought to mind. So many beautiful colors to had. Tfs ❤😊
Love these. I love coloring with oxides-I’m looking for a bullet tip blender/ similar to Fantastix that I can clean and reuse. Do you have a recommendation?
Have you tried mixing the colors from the reinkers? Id bet doing that would create some amazing colors. If I had that many reinkers I’d do it myself but unfortunately I only have like 4 of them ☹️
I think these will really be helpful. Looking forward to this series.
Thank you - I’m glad they’ll be helpful!
Found it! Had to chuckle to myself when you were 'blending' the 2nd swatch, you kept putting the 2nd colour brush into the 1st colour - I so wanted to shout at my TV to tell you but couldn't lol x
I agree that first color is fabulous and could be used in a lot of different situations or techniques. I would call it mulberry suede.
This is hands down the BEST explanation I have ever heard to explain the difference between oxide and inks! Thank you so much! Just discovered your channel about 2 months ago and because of the previous series, I have gone from about 8 oxides to about 60 now 😂. So excited to see a new series! ❤❤❤
My deepest sympathy about your dad. My comments won't be amazing, but I will play your playlists.
Hopefully something as simple as hugs will help you.
I love this idea! I can't wait to see all of your new shades. This really extends our inks. I love that you've compared the mixes to existing colors. That's really helpful. Thank you so much!
Love this idea! I want more colours but have to watch my spending so this is so helpful!

Wow Lou. I would have expected muddy brown. You are inspired
I love this! I had in my mind when I recently bought my limited number of distress oxides that I hoped they would mix to create more colours but had yet to try it. I loved your original series that just finished and am very excited about this new one. Thank you!
First color mix reminds me of cloudy sky's
Great Series! Thank you for the downloads 🤗❤

Thanks Lou, this will be very interesting!
The first colour I would call “the colour of my knees when I fell over in Sainsburys”. Might be a bit of a niche description :)
😂😂😂
How about “bruised knees” for a color name then haha
Tornado Skies for the first one.
Brilliant! I would never have thought of doing this. Already my blending has really improved using the tips from your previous playlist on oxides. This will be fun to try. ❤
Great new series, love it!
Ooh another fab playlist to look forward to! This will save us all a lot of money, and ni doubt some interesting new colours. Thanks Lou and a Happy New Year 😊
Fab video. Great colours
Fabulous new series!
First colour I would go with frosted aubergine/egg plant depending on which side of the Atlantic you are on!
That orangy one I would call Orange cycle, that dark blue one I would call night fall, and the rest I’m lost. lol but that is what them 2 brought to mind. So many beautiful colors to had. Tfs ❤😊
Just awesome. Thank you!!
Fabulous❤
More brain exploding ideas, thank you! Does this mean I won't need the new color coming out? lol And your craft room is gorgeous!
Oh no, we will still definitely need it! 😂
Is there a new color coming out soon???
Yes, I'm getting pre-release offers from some of the shops I follow....I'd put a link in but I don't think it would be allowed. @@Mudderoftree
@@ooman56 oh that’s so exciting!!!! Thank you ! I’ll keep my eyes peeled :)
I would call the first mix plum ash
And squeezed lemonade horizon
I will call the first new colour Purple Haze
Hmmm… first colour blend, ‘Laughing Dove,’ because it reminds me of the doves who live in my backyard.
My colour names
Colour 1 - Champagne Mist
Colour 2 - Autumn Leaves
Colour 5 - Sunset Breeze
Fab thank you xx
Love these. I love coloring with oxides-I’m looking for a bullet tip blender/ similar to Fantastix that I can clean and reuse. Do you have a recommendation?
To be honest I had to look up what a Fantastix was! So unfortunately I can’t recommend anything similar. They look quite cool though!
I’d call the first shade dusky mauve
Have you tried mixing the colors from the reinkers? Id bet doing that would create some amazing colors. If I had that many reinkers I’d do it myself but unfortunately I only have like 4 of them ☹️
I would call first one..Victorian flannel. The second one dusty sherbet. The third one suede shoes. So far my fave is first one!!
