This album felt like a watered down version of songs & projects that Benny has done before.
The Hit Boy beats aren't better than the Burden of Proof production and the Alchemist beats don't live up to any of the Tana Talks or Plugs.
On top of that Benny doesn't have the same sharpness and wittiness in his rapping, so add that with repetitive subject matter and you get just an "ok" album.

Y’all saying the mainstream stuff didn’t work. The harsh reality is that if Benny were to keeping make thing music with the underground aesthetics he would never be more popular. I agree it could’ve been executed better but we can’t expect Griselda to grow their audience if they keep with such an underground sound.

They gotta slow down on releases. They don't feel as special when we get one every few months. Last Year, Conway dropped 4 albums, his album Won't he do it, The Drumwork Comp, The Conductor Collab, The project he did with producer Wun two, and Hall and Nash 2. Out of those, Hall and Nash 2 and the Wun two joints were the best imo

Benny has a dated mentality. The current consumers are much more educated than they were decades ago where you could trick them into liking you by switching to commercial sounds.
Go for critical acclaim with your sound and do features on other known artists records, the audience will grow slowly but surely.

Benny doesn't get that reverting to the generic pre-griselda stuff that kept him unknown is gonna contradict the whole "on top of the game" attitude he has. The grimy shit with dope flows and storytelling is what put him on for the most part, that's why tt4 was so dope and so commercially successful.

Might be a weird take, but i think he did not went commercial sounding enough. Not epic enough…French Montanas Wave Blues was such a dope Benny feature to me, where he sounded real good. Or a beat similar to Conways scatter brain maybe. This was not far enough away from his typical sound.

Benny's hooks are the weakest in his game and unfortunately there are more songs with hooks on this album (I'm assuming as a major label release) which didn't really help. I appreciate he tried to stay true to his sound by having both ALC and Hitboy for production but overall a pretty meh album for me after the historic run we saw in late 2010s to early 2020 from not just Benny but entire Griselda crew.

honestly, my only gripes w the album besides it not hitting like i thought would is, that Pillow Talk joint.. i fucking hate that beat. Hit-Boy should have thrown it away. also why the hell did Benny end this album w Big Tymers?? that was the biggest thing that threw me off.

Everybody Can't Go is def not a "classic" per se, but it's a very strong album with a good blend of Griselda-esque grimey sh## (Alchemist), and more sonically accessible, faster bpm music (Hit-Boy), which makes for a nice mix. agreed on appreciating what the album is, and what Benny was aiming for, but not loving it. felt like it was missing something the whole time. i don't think HitBoy or Al gave him the heavyweight joints he needed to properly energize this one. it should have felt more monumental for his first major label LP.
imo HitBoy isn't that nice and as much as i fux with Al, he should have brought more of that Mobb/Prodigy energy back for this.
