Nee nah is so 🔥. Glad Rod caught that Kill Bill Vol. 2 sample. The song is called "About Her" from the official soundtrack composed by RZA and Rob Rodriguez. Amazing song btw
I was super let down by this one. 21 is usually my guy but the beats and the bars and the hooks were all lackluster on this one outside of just a few bright spots. Kinda the definition of mid.
I was a lil disappointed in this album. Pretty much every feature outshined him and he didn't expound on the "American Dream" theme or show much growth from the last album, mostly just same ol 21.
What did you expect lol the whole appeal of 21 is the aesthetics…the production & the features….he doesn’t really have much depth…his flows are redundant & his lyricism is mediocre….even when he tries to make a somewhat introspective song best you can ask from him is to not in the way of the feature & the production…if you like the tone of his voice then it works for you but if you don’t like his voice then you won’t like his music because he’s formulaic…he gives you what you expect everytime & nothing more
The growth IMO was from his debut “issa album” & his sophomore “i am > i was”….after that he didn’t really improve…he just refined the metro duo formula with savage mode 2 which was much better then the first…made decent collab albums with offset & drake but he hasn’t improved….he found hid niche…21 isn’t very lyrical , not very versatile when it comes to flows but he knows how to pick good production…good features & he’s good at collaborating with other artists..but to me that’s where his strengths end….i don’t know what you expected but to me this project is exactly what i thought it would be….the growth from his debut to his sophomore was happening at a time when the mumble rap wave was dying…he was just just a gimmick at that point..to a certain extend he still is but on “i am > i was” he refined it in all forms possible…because if he didn’t he would’ve fallen off at this point…he doesn’t have lyricism & versatility in terms of flows so he focused on his strengths..which is his voice , his production & features
I’ve just been negative in the comments recently but Savage Mode 2, Without Warning and I am>I was, were really solid and this album fell flat for me. This is one of his weakest for me and I notice a lot of people who didn’t like 21 in the past, really like this album, vice versa.
Definitely me. His other albums definitely fell flat to me, but something about this one just works for me where the other ones just didnt overall (other than savage mode 2, I really liked that one). Always been a fan of his features, I really think he brings it every single time. This album is already up there for me for albums of the year, I reaaaally fw it.
@@K1ngOf1 That's fair. I went in with zero expectations because Benny is hit or miss for me, that's prob why I dig it. The fire emojis were a bit dramatic as well. It's really good, but not THAT good.
Big sean is on another level when it comes to corny bars. Also big sean put himself as a lyricist who wanted to compete with the likes of Kendrick and Cole, as for 21 we dont expect him to try to rap like that so he is set to a different standard.
@@aaronc2044 no I’ve listened to all of Sean’s music and his bars are not even that corny as people make it seem. There actually very creative compared to 21. And Sean can rap in the same level as Kendrick and Cole and he’s proven that plenty of times already
@@r.johnson1170 Sean’s delivery is on point imo. He’s crafty and smart when it comes to those kind of bars and there actually funny af if you’ve heard all his earlier mixtapes
See y’all can enjoy younger mainstream rap even though it didn’t resonate with Myke like that he still brought out highlights that he enjoyed. I remember 2-3 years ago y’all had a small discussion if y’all should even continue reviewing these type of artists because y’all thought y’all would tear them down every time. Eventually something would come that y’all will enjoy and everyone seemed to always enjoy 21 Savage over the years so that’s good.

So hard
Nee nah is trash cant tbelieve yall hyping that song up
“okay 51 Savage” 😂
love you myke
Not the 51 Savage 💀
“Dislildurkdoh!” 😂
This album is heat, I get the R&B stuff because 21 is a R&B head. I gotta listen to I Am > I Was again. Those first 9 on repeat.
I know the crew just can’t wait to review Lil Dickys “Penith” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hell nah, don't even joke about that 💀
We need a Patron exclusive 😅
Anything else but that 😅
@@giovannidejoie8618why not??? I heard it’s HARD 🔥🔥🔥

I was expecting way more after his last album. This is a slight regression of his talents.
Yo, Myke C-Town is hilarious, personally I'm feeling that "Redrum" track🎵.
Feefo “JumpinOutDaWindow” 24/7 😂😂
“Ken just farted by the way.” 😂
that killed me lmfao

Very generic
You trippin. These were his best bars
I completely agree, I'm actually shocked DEHH enjoyed it as much as they did.
You trippin the beats were fire
Strong disagree, I thought it was pretty damn good beats, hooks, and verses
I miss the favorite track shoutouts. I plug em in Spotify and listen to them at work.
Man said “burner boy”
I literally searched for this yesterday and now it here!
It’s dope, everybody had there phones when this dropped 🔥

Same. Few tracks grew on me from this joint but it's not an album front to back like those past albums for me.

It's A Solid Album I Rock With It Salute 21#Fact
Myke would’ve loved it if it was Kendrick Lamar’s ‘British Dream’

That new Benny, though ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
