You are just amazing!!! I have stopped looking other videos from the day i started watching urs. The way u show only one productive way rather than tell about 100 complex study methods which are confusing makes studying less stressful. Keep it up!!!
I’ve been watching active recall vids for decades , this video was so so helpful thanks!!

I’d love to see you do one for some tough biochemistry topic!! Fabulous videos! Keep them coming!
Zain Asif my friend good stuff, well done and I wish you all the best. Thanks for letting all of us learn how to learn the right way.
This is EXTREMELY useful!!!!! 🤩 I do the same thing too which is making questions by myself. I think it’s much better way for memorising. During the creation of questions, basic understanding is required so I will know that if I really get the idea or not!
Looking forward to your coming vid !
Yess thank you ! Any other part of the study process you want me to show live or any other video you suggest?
@@zain_asif I guess about studying method for a specific medical subject? Like Microbiology, Histology… etc I think it would be nice that if you could share some strategies on studying diff subjects! I’m a med lab student haha so it would be really helpful !! 😆

Thank you for this content!
I loved this video! Thank you so much!!
Appreciate itt
Amazing techniques.with clear explanation.. thank you bro❤😊
Thanks for the recall question technique. Because I used to make notes and then used to recall later after few days to keep the topic in my head. My recall method was just don't look at any notes and think what I learnt in that topic. But I used to miss few things. These questions may help me to remember Better as I will have enough hint what I need to recall
Exactly !! Let me know how it goes
Thank you for your brilliant idea, I have been considering the method you suggested, but I had no idea how to execute it.
Thank you so much, Brother for this very useful video
thank you so much!!
That was really helpful !
You're amazing thank you so much ❤
Amazing! Your content is straight to the point and insightful. New subbie here ❤
Thank you!
Very concrete actionable steps
This is really a good learning methodology. Thanks for sharing. I would have preferred though to see you write some of the questions at normal speed with your comment in the background explaining why you wrote that way.
I started watching you when you were in first year and you’ve really progressed 🎉❤.. Kudos 🎉
I remember ur first few comments actually haha thank you for the support all this time ❤️
Thank you very much for doing this! Its so helpful for my first year into medschool. The summary slides are just perfect as well as the live studying parts. But I have a questions doing the questions: I have the impression that I create too many. They are to general (like I could spend 10 min answering it) or too detailed.
And my second question is that when I do the first layer I have the impression that by the time I do the second I already forgot everything! Do you have any tips? Regards from Germany
Awesome video as per usual, thank you for this and all your hard work
❤️❤️❤️
Amazinggggg as always you go mann😌😌
Thank yous :)
Great study advises thanks alot
So helpful…Thanku so muchh🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wow very helpfully vedious for best time , thanks,
can you tell me questions of active recall are you writted or Apps that helped you easily rather than imagic school?
This is very similar to stuff Dr Justin Sung talks about regarding studying. very interesting
My first time watching ur video and am inspired.
I'm gonna apply this
I guess it is very useful trick. Will try to implement .
Thank you! Posted at the perfect moment when I was facing this exact issue when reading. All the best! 😊

Wow ,this is Amazzziiiggggg.
Your system is similar to Mortimer Adler’s outlining and then interpreting. Great video
fantastic ............ stay blessed.
thanks a lot!
I love this!
Is there any way, or potential, for you to create a Google Doc with this info typed out? (General steps, definitions of those steps, and examples)
Thank you🙏
That's awesome ❤
Thanks :)
Thanks!
When do you come back to the topic for recall?
Thank you so much ❤❤
Glad it helped :))
That one brother who always helps us ❤😊 ... Preparing for premed exams # india ❤

After you create the mind map and go onto the 2nd layer and the 3rd where you start learning more info and making recall questions, how do you make mental notes?
I know in another video you said you don’t utilize flashcards because you find it more helpful to open the book or the material and make yourself look back at a more thorough answer.
Some of the concepts I am learning require me to memorize lab values to understand or anticipate certain conditions. Would I place that in the 1st layer when I create my mind map? For example would I say potassium normal range is 3.5-5.0 so it’s there on my mind map? Or if I’m learning about a certain medication and I want to really understand side effects and mechanism of action, where would those notes go? Would that be included in my 3rd layer? I guess I’m just confused as to how you remember? Do you make mental notes?
Do all you have to look back on is the mind map and recall questions?
Thank you!
More information but very brief ,mmm respect 💪💪
🤝
This method taught by tamilnadu government school❤ for students...
(2008,2009........)
It's realy good method.........
Teachers gave assignment to prepare
This type of making mind maps...😊😊
'Zain actually revising through his videos 🌚'.
Jokes aside, love your videos zain. Keep going. We are growing with you. ✨
Multi-tasking what can I say, thanks
0:33 keen words to thank you
Hey, you are the best studytuber ever Zain~
🤯
Share it with your friend and family who needs it

Thanks!
Couldn’t help but notice that when you were on the computer on split screen, your notes on the left were very artistic and clearly not mind maps. Will you do a video about how you make those notes? Lastly using a program like Remnote or others you can make your questions into cards with answers and do active intermittent recall with the ones you got wrong coming up periodically.
Did you use this for your Mcat study?? Or better yet how did you study for your Mcat thank you sooo much !!!!
Hello Brother. Great Videos! Helps a lot. Thank you for your efforts. 🙂

Sir please tell me i am confised justice sung tells that dont make notes write mind maps by using keywords , Ali abdaal says dont make notes write only recall questions but sir please tell me if i dont make cornell notes then later after 1-2 months i will forget and if i write active recall questions then afyer some months i will completely forget the context becuase i will forget that whag i had read please help me should i make notes first or not and that too handwritten or typing??
I study informatic and have a lot of math and algorithmen, i cant learn math like this how should i study this topics? PS sorry for my bad english
I wish I had known this before
thanks
how would you recommend implementing this layering technique for things more math based such as calculus or physics?
I think it could work with maths... The concept mapping part is just an overview about how different concepts fit together, so you could focus on vocabulary/ terminology and topics, and their definitions and purposes. In the second layer, you could add details like equations and diagrams/graphs, formulas, rules, and worked examples. Your questions could be prompts about the procedural steps or terminology, etc. My maths methods teacher always told us: Step 1. Draw a diagram (or sketch a graph).
Make it visual wherever possible.
if you have a time limit do not go for easiest to hardest , its common sense that when you reach at the end of your time period you will get tensed and you cant concentre on hard topics. so go for *hardest to easiest*.
I’m going to give it a try let’s see
Let us know :)
