- You being glued to technology, to your phone, youtube, tiktok IS NOT because you’re lazy or because you have bad discipline or because your brain doesn’t work.
What it’s actually because of- is your state of mind: your internal emotional circuitry. After we waste time, we get such strong feelings of resentfulness. "I can’t believe I wasted the WHOLE day. I’m just not productive, I suck."
You think you're going to be able to do good productive studying after all that negative crap you're throwing at yourself? You’re not working because all that negative self talk especially after you’ve wasted time ruins your mental state. And what makes it worse is you don’t bother to internally process how you actually feel, what you’re thinking. what’s led you here.
What finally worked for me, I’m gonna tell you straight away is 1) me training myself to become hyper aware / learning to process my thoughts and 2) a self-improvement system that me and my friend created that evolved into something unimaginable. Hope you enjoy.

heres the issue with watching several hours of youtube and ive experienced this, you get this feeling of being drained out, with no energy left in you to be learning anything, and you get this feeling of guilt which results to demotivation.
that is why too much of something can lead you to not do tasks that are required

Learning to process our thoughts is so crucial that if we learn it, we won't need others steps to follow. We will automatically be aware of our actions and will stay away from social media. Explained well ❤

I am stuggling with this i have deleted all of my social medias including youtube on my iphone and am able to cut it down to 4 hours(at max) of screen time but i still am visiting reddit and youtube from safari and i hate it and want to have better grades. well I am going to try the recoding advice

Its a gradual process... cant just cut everything out. Healthy internal processing and good barriers to avoid distraction is key here. Youll get there eventually as long as u keep being intentional abt ur time!
