@@Crimson_Knight004 Internet is the real manifestation of humanity's collective unconscious. It's literally the greatest information field where everybody can express themselves staying behind the stage, deprived from real time, from real people.
So this is a place where people show themselves inside out. It's really like Mementos in lots of ways. So, if somebody had a bad day and they feel really bad, it's considered impolite in lots of societies to share your negative emotions if not asked, so people remain in this stage and can easily rant in the Net, as nobody sees and hears them.
I think even though it's sad that there's so much negativity in the Net, it's understandable. It's not like anyone *wants* to be aggressive. It's just that we humans are mostly slaves of the real world, which is full of sad and terrible stuff.
You know, the Internet metaverse sounds like a cool concept for a Persona game... c:

I don’t think that gives someone a pass to be aggressive to others on the Internet, because even filtered through here, there’s still a real person behind the screen (maybe just rant at, like, Cleverbot or something, lol). But I do get what you mean, the anonymity and informality of the Internet does make it a prime place to let your true emotions run wild. You can let your mask slip away, as it were. Or put on different masks.
The idea of an Internet Mementos-like location does sound really cool. :o Because you’re right, the Internet basically does represent humanity’s collective unconscious...It’d be kind of like a mashup of P4’s TV World and P5’s Mementos I’d guess, taking aspects of both while still being its own thing. The idea has a lot of potential!
