Nice and smooth glow plug removal 🤓But in my case 2 glow plugs snapped off.... 🤦♂️ so the bottom heating element still in place, only top bit detached. So, decided leave it there. And never bothered me, van still running, and I’m not in middle of Siberia(thanks to God) , doesn’t have bad starting in the morning during winter time!
Oh that's a real bugger, well certainly glad you don't live in Siberia. This van didn't have many miles so may be that's why this were that bad to remove.
Nagy Janos Florian i dont remember the check engine light coming on i don’t think it did. I did clear the codes after replacing the glow plugs but essentially urgent to do it straight after, engine should run fine anyway since those plugs only assist with cold starting.
Hello thank you for your video and i need your comment... my vito 's glow plug light stays on till a little after ignition... it does not matter summer or winter, engine is warm or cold, night or day... i am starting my engine and the plug light stays maybe 60 seconds than dissappears almost after every ignition... do i have to mdify my plug relay or do i have to change glow plugs... thanks in advance...
Hi, well two things, if you haven't changed the glowplugs in a while then it would be worth changing them as part of a service routine, how ever if you have change them not long ago then may be worth investigating the relay as it could be getting stuck, in any case perhaps get some fault codes if you can ..
@@DaringBeefcake thank you for your comment and you are right i think at least one of my glow plug has failed... therefore i have very big concern that the plug may broke in engine during replacement which can cause a lot of effort and cost... i need to decide... thank you...
@@meteevrenberktas6988 make sure you spray wd40 and let it soak for a doy or so so it can penetrate properly and perhaps will help when removing the glow plugs.
Thank you, very easy....In the event that the glow plug is not seized!! otherwise use W40....
Glad it helped, thanks for the tip..
Very useful and explaining video, thank you for your time for videotaping and posting.
