how do you find living with the small bathroom? my bathroom is similar in size width wise so our tub fits wall to wall much like yours but where you toilet was is where our sink is then to the left of that is our toilet (so that would be other side of your rad wall for instance), then opposite the loo is the door into the room.
now, i ask because we bought this house as it has a down stairs extension and the plan has always been to do the 2nd floor extension on top and add the 4th bed room we need and the only logical way in would be to remove our loo and continue the hallway through the bathroom door and where the loo is now (there is a small window there behind the loo) would be the door into the new build.
My options are to stick loo where my sink is now and then have the sink opposite and obviously stud wall it in so it would be pretty much identical to your bathroom, or would you opt to take more of the wall down and essentially pick up our bathroom rotate it 90 degrees and plonk it back down so we keep same amount of floor space but obviously loose bedroom space... few things i think about is, it would be cheaper to make it small like yours as id only need a door lintel into new bedroom over a whole wall section requiring rsj etc so much cheaper to go smaller, the other issue i think i have is that the extension doesn't go all the way to back of the house, it stops 2ft short so it would be like a cubby where the loo sits into if you know what i mean so i would gain all that much for it.
Be interesting to hear how you find living with a small bathroom day to day. (removing bath for a wetroom shower also not an option as the wife would leave me without a bathtub haha)

Hi there thank you for watching!
Honestly it doesn't really bother me, I spend so little time there anyway. It's cheaper to tile a small bathroom 🤣. I plan to extend to the side of my house one day (which would be above the garage) the full depth of the house to create an extra double bedroom and a decent size family bathroom. So I guess I'm comfortable with it as I know it's only temporary. Obviously the bathroom is finished now and it looks fantastic, the Mrs is already having second thoughts about my extension idea. In a few more years when I am much less abled I'm sure I will require a bigger bathroom so it will force my hand.
