    9:51 - Update, some sad news. Something 100% did break in my controller. I can hear a rattle when I shake it a little. It was vibrating, and like an old man broke something 😄
    Hopefully it can still live on vibrating, but probably not like it did before. Man, why couldn't Microsoft expect players to be breaking out of bounds with invulnerability, where the controller will vibrate from the game trying to kill the player. Come on Microsoft, don't need the players to be your R&D testers. 😆

      Partly broken controller, bummer. That's modern gaming for you, half assed finished games with plenty of bugs on release. The consumer is now the tester and they'll only fix it, if enough people complain. Trading Standards need to be brought in.

    Another Small info update. I've done something that hurt my head. I've extracted the level geometry into the 3d modelling program Blender. With this I can see two boxes, the main one which is labelled "space_skybox" with the material called "+sky1"and a slightly larger one that wraps around that one that's labelled "+no_way_portal" that has the material called "+portal ~" and also for the untextured thing it's labelled "detail_cir_blockr_a31" with the material called "generic_grey" I'll share an image on a community post.

    The Da Vinci egg room, no wireframe model? Grumpy and Termacious Trickocity have stood on the Da Vinci egg in coop (no mods). In solo, I've never landed inside the big box off a sword fly but have got inside with a vehicle launch, but have landed on the roof of the turd box via sword fly. Whenever we try to reach the egg in single player, there seems to be a force field or something stopping us getting there, similar for the explosions. Is it possible that single player and coop modes have different geometry values?

      @slobsky7237 Thanks, I tried to be thorough enough while trying to keep the video short-ish. That whole Box is pretty weird, when it try's to kill the player its like the player is touching an open walk throughable solid geometry, which the game automatically is set to kill the player. Even though compiling a map I think is meant correct that.
      I don't think coop changes geometry information, but it may probably create a slight load/tax on how quickly the game can update information like where the player is and if the player should die or live and how much damage is the player going to take, stuff like that.

      @@JustinsaneS222 The TT boys coop launched straight up to the egg from the base of the big box. Suggesting that the egg box has no floor? As for Grumpy, he used AUP teleporting witchcraft magic. In solo, we've got the option to vertical sword fly or vertically launch up. Both virtually impossible, as they require doing it from the lake bed, then have to bypass the big box floor, all while taking a huge gamble on the coordinates in the murky waters. What could go wrong? lol.

    Thank you, finally, we get to see at least one box but where was the other box? There's definitely two boxes, each with their own coordinates. The smaller box is fully contained within the big box but I'm thinking that it's actually the smaller box that we are seeing. Even though you commented that the box we were looking at was larger than you expected, I think (proportionately) that the flame box is three times the size of the egg box. I know cuz you can swordfly through the big box and thereby fly through the flames but you cannot penetrate the inner box unless you clip through as an AUPED Brute. Can you find a way to show that bigger box?
    Also, that small box underneath the map. What is that, is that also from High Charity? How far down is that located and when you showed wireframe why was it not there? When we AUP a Spectre turret we project a character, say, from the beginning of the level start to the control tower door. Can you give a wild guess as to if that distance projection will reach down to that box from that same start position? I will try that tonight unless you tell me I won't be able to see it or get to it.
    I can't thank you enough for this vid, there are other places like the projection boxes we would like to see so we can make more suggestions if you'd like. At some point I'd like to know what programs you are using, then I would not bother you so much.
    About mods, we trickers modify games all the time, if you use a checkpoint to change how the game is being played, you are a modder. You yourself are not a modder, you simply show what the game is made of so I've never had a problem with that. Please keep up the good work.

      Yeah, I honestly am confused for how that space cutscene box area works. The wireframe should show all physical geometry and that tool I'm using can show all triggers but beyond those things, looks like there might be something else that's happening, but I'm not sure how else to see what it is.
      15:48 - if you're talking about this box in the high charity bsp/scene, I'm not sure if it is reachable, the height of those physical areas I think is much further downwards than even the anniversary graphics box that you see at 7:58
      Showing off all the skybox projection areas like on Outskirts is something I'd like to do as well at some point, feel free help point them out, in case I forget one. The Camera tool I'm using is HaloCheckpointManager and is linked in the description which works on the steam MCC, that tool started off as a Checkpoint assistant tool for speedrunners but the additional features over the past months have made it become the best multi do almost everything tool. The other thing I was using is a part of the 'Halo 2 Mod Tools - MCC' which is Tag Test, steam as well. I've put the link to that in the description as well.
      At the end of this video I mentioned I'm going to go over certain categories of stuff like the Dev cubes I found during the exploring series I've done as well as player positions during cutscenes. I'm always interested in suggestions. I don't think TH-cam likes links in the comments. So if you want me to check something be sure to leave the title of that video and a time in the video I should be looking at.
      But yea, was intending to have this video maybe answer some questions, hopefully I haven't raised just as much 😄

      @@JustinsaneS222 Thanks, it's awesome, I think I'll AUP down tonight and have a look to see if I can locate that box, it's hard to gage distances in this game. I reached the Space Hole (projection boxes) from the seafloor and I would guess I was halfway up into the box. It seemed as if I could possibly project myself down that far but I don't know really what I'm talking about.
      Outskirts, hellofa place. There are two maps at the beginning of the tunnel. If you veer right and go out in the water you will reach a spot where the Scarab spawns and shoots once but if you go into the tunnel and spawn the Scarab it will also fire once but the physical construct of each of those maps do not match up. The planes are all askew but it's hard to explain. If you watch my vid on Getting the Scarab Gun From Inside the Tunnel I show both maps. Also, that Scarab shoots from its ass, no where near where it should shoot from lol.

      @@JustinsaneS222 One other thing, the coordinates you were showing of the skybox were only 4 at first, then there were like 8 or 10 later. it seemed to me at that time that it was trying to show the other box's coordinates but again I have no idea as to what I'm talking about. All I really know is is that there are two definite boxes.

      Yeah, I was inside some box, then by looking at the flames I kept walking until it looked like I was caught in a corner. Then using the acrophobia skull to fly, I did the same thing but flying up until the unit numbers from the waypoints stopped. And yea I have no idea what I'm talking about either I'm mostly guessing 😄
      Halo needs only to exist for me to be in love, be confused and have fun all at the same time.

      @@JustinsaneS222 Yup on the last sentence. Monopoli and I have been messing with H2 since it came out in 2004. I stopped several times but the GOAT did not stop. I always came back though.
