Ok, EHX never ceases to amaze me.... I have the Source Audio Ventris Dual Reverb, and this is the only other external effect that I know of that can compete. You guys got me into the world of effects with the muffs and memorymen, and even after all these years I still find myself gravitating toward Electro-Harmonix for your innovation, quality, and affordability! I gotta say. EHX just kills it with pedals. I've spent years shopping for what I really need on my board and EHX has me covered for so many things. There is one other company that has equally surprised me which ill leave nameless. All I'm saying is don't sleep on this company, they make amazing products.
EHX electronics developers truly are alchemists of the 21st century! I love the quality, uniqueness and versatility of what they've been developing over the last five years or so. And listening to this got me to thinking of why I so love guitar effects. It's because most effects sound best with very sparse, simple arrangements, as their impact upon the soundscape of a track is all about color, tone and texture. And the best player - even very technical ones - realize this. It's one of the reasons David Gilmour is universally loved by guitarists - as he's a minimalist who uses incredible effects and awesome tone with brilliantly structured chording and lead phrasing. He knows how to make simple but inspired structures become something very powerful through his inventive combining and tweaking of various effects. Andy Summers of The Police also comes to mind - a brilliant technical player who nonetheless used effects and simple phrasing to creating an awesome impact.
Rocking’ the traveler! This is an excellent release. Great job Bill. The effect loop is an amazing feature of this pedal. Two channels is truly unique. EH did it again in spades.
I'm always blown away by Bill Ruppert. Wouldn't a Ruppert Preset Pedal be a great pedal? I own an Epitome and Tone Tattoo and can't get his tones; good ones but this studio perfect Bill-tones.

This sounds good. I like that the verb is crisp and distinct from the mix, which is what I liked when comparing the 11 (and the Cathedral) to TC algorithms which blur the line between wet and dry no matter what pedal mix you choose..
Bill Rupert makes the best demo's! Could you please make the Grand Canyon with stereo inputs as well? That would be a great improvement, especially for boards that start stereo signal from modulation pedals.
I would just LOVE to see EHX make some modular effects! Every synth player since forever has been plugging into EHX pedals, so it'll be fine. I can only imagine the things they'd come up with having more headroom with a dedicated positive and negative power supply, the expectations of control voltage instead of just an "if you want to" part of the manual.

I bought this awhile back, definitely happy with the purchase. The only issue I had was being unable to get the effect loop to work with any of my pedals. Each time I attempted it, I'd only get harsh feedback. That said, still a fantastic pedal for moody ambient jams 👌
I love mine for many reasons: don´t change my original bass guitar tone, effects blend with my sound naturally, the new resonant reverb is stuning, poly octave sound amazing without any extrange latency or fails (other pedals don´t cach all the bass guitar notes), conversers AD-DA don´t make the sound "artificial", I can put there a loooot of effect and still my bass sounds incredible(with other brand is imposible to use all this wet effect amount). Two Oceans 12, one Grand Canyon, one Ravish...and growing!!!. Butttt please, make your pedals a little bigger!!!. Thanks EHX, you are an important part of my sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the Mother of all Demos (it's not fair to call it a mere "demo"). The chord voicings and tone leading help showcase the features of this pedal (it's not fair to call it a mere "pedal"). I might have to take the plunge and see if I can coax music out of it.
Bill Ruppert is a Monster. I could listen to him play all day. Pedal sounds great, but Bill could play thru a tunafish-can. Dude is Serious. Listen to his rendition of Led Zeppelin "No Quarter" - Waiting on the new 1440 Looper.
I love that it's layed out the same as the grand canyon, easy to dial side by side, which they will be on my board. Now I need a multi stereo in box for the both 😏
That pedal is great if you like to try a lot of different stuff, but the only down side is if you use the A and B at the same time, the 2nd you activate will have a boost, and is pretty high, so if you change to just one later you will feel that volume change, dont know if you can turn that boost off but if not, yeah... The only down side, everything else is awesome
