- In this video we will be showcasing Simon's amazing 325i E36 Trackcar!
Probably my biggest inspiration to building my own car was Simon's E36. After riding shotgun with this car there was no doubt about what my E36 had to become.
Anyway here are some simple specs/mods from the car:
BMW E36 325i M50B25 (Non vanos)
M3 headers
M3 Supersprint Race exhaust
BBS RC304 wheels
AP Coilovers
H&R Swaybars
Stahlus Halfcage
I am probably missing more than half the mods haha.

Damn I need that exhaust set up. It sounds so good. So he have his build documented anywhere. I’d like some more info on his exhaust and how he has his o2 set up (assuming he’s obd1 and has one sensor)

Great car. Only needs improvement on brakes, maybe e46 330i fronts and rears and stroke it to 3 litres perhaps. Otherwise this car is the best modded non m3 I've seen on TH-cam. Worthy of praise.
He says the brakes are holding up pretty good, he also installed brake cooling after this video so they last surprisingly long. It’s definitely a very clean build, no nonsense, just driving focused

Great looking thing... I have an almost identical car. Alpine white but sedan. Same wheels, same exhaust, same headers, same buckets seats, same wing but without risers. 🙏

It's called the LTW/Class 2 wing. They don't make them anymore so you would have to get a replica. The vendors differ from the EU and the USA

Do you have spacers? Does it rub in any situation? I have exact the same wheels with 225 45 r17 and what suspension do you use? work on fenders?

@@anaqi_hakimi Unfortunately, I haven't done a road test yet and haven't heard back from the owner. What I can tell you is: I have the same rims, i.e. 38 offset, 8 inch width, 17 inch diameter. I have 225/45/ r17 on all 4 wheels with 10mm track plates. That looks pretty good and seems very unproblematic. I have a bilstein threaded suspension, the b14. unfortunately I can't tell you anything about the ride yet because it's not finished yet, but it should fit. If you want 225/45 r17 in the front and don't have a 328i e36 you have to use steering lock limiters. They are original from Bmw and were originally offered with this dimension (225/45 r17) on the 328i. They cost about 10 euros. I would still advise you to take wider tires at the rear because it simply looks much better (so rather 215 front and 235 rear or 225 front and 245 rear) but I haven't had either on the car yet. So 10mm track plates rear and front work very well in any case and should not cause any problems when registering, but only with 225s all round if you get wider at the rear I don't know if the 10mm track plate will work out.

keeping the chasis strenght as you have but with a bit softer suspension setup in front...a good coilovers makes the diference...double spring and thick ones

I am trying to figure out what is the difference between RC302, RC 303 and RC 304... The look the same to me...i tried to google it...but nothing comes out...

The difference is the sizes and concave
304 is 17x8J ET38
302 is 17x8,5J ET18 (concave)
303 is 18 inch but don’t know the exact sizes

Goals! Welk merk van rolkooi is het? Ik versta het niet op het filmpje?
En merk van ltw wing, heb er eentje van eBay maar de pasvorm is niet zo mooi.
Het merk is Stahlus, zit in Duitsland. Maar deze kooien worden op aanvraagd gemaakt helaas anders had ik hem ook wel gewilt

@@Sphyn0x I think that's a bit much. If you take a good semislick tire they already look really fat with 225/45. What you can try is 235/40 or 235/45 if you want a little more rubber
@@TJS36 Damn, wanted to hear opposite :D I would like something wider than 225, but: 235/45 has larger diameter than oem, and 235/40 doesnt have enough sidewall (daily drive), therefore why Im considering 245/40

Haha doesn't sound logically but the Recaro Pole Position seats are indeed more comfortable then the stock seats. It's just a bit harder to get in and out
He did not just call the rims "BBS"🤦🏼♀️. They are APEX arc-8. Love the car tho
They are BBS, Apex actually copied them from BBS
Believe it or not, APEX wheels are BBS replicas. So the originals and the original design is from BBS and they have been making them for over 20 years as aftermarket or for stock bmw models (e46 m3 csl stock wheels are BBS)
BBS ones have the brand engraved on the center of the rims. Apex ones don’t, I know cause I’ve got both

Believe me welded cage is way better than bolt on cage.
It’s still his daily that’s why he chose a bolt in half cage. I’m sure when it’s not his daily anymore he will go weld in full cage
