How different it is in Canada, if you have any information on that?.
Hi Samina, this answer is a bit speculative as I have not worked in Canada so please take it with a pinch of salt.
In general if you filled a room with project managers from different countries they would undoubtedly raise and discuss similar challenges they face on a day to day basis. Countries can have different regulations, laws and cultures but often the job differences are small.
The company that Megan works for are international and have offices around the world and without asking Megan I would be confident in saying she would find it relatively easy transitioning to work in those different offices possibly more easily than changing companies in the UK.
What you’ll find is that companies create or have their own cultures or way of doing things so sometimes you can have lots of experience and know a job inside out but when you change companies the biggest learning curve you have is learning how the new company like things to be done, the computer systems they use, the product they sell, etc.

Hi! Can I do the Prince 2 training online? And how it is different from PMP?
Thank you for the interview. Currently I'm a fairly new implementation specialist (6 months) and I was interested in what the project managers actually do outside of give us information. I was actually thinking about eventually becoming a project manager once I master the implementation stuff.

Training is key to moving through the career path for project management and so is growing your EQ. There are great career paths with high salaries available for the right people and it is very open to women due to their already naturally high EQ

Hello, that’s a difficult one for us to answer, if you’re excited about the prospect of becoming a PM then definitely.
A job doesn’t have to be for life so even if you do it for a year and it’s not for you, you’ll still be learning new skills, etc. to take forward into another role

It is, in the US and Canada.
In other parts of the world like UK, Europe as a whole is PRINCE2.

Please may someone let me know whether it matters which place you decide to get your Prince 2 training completed? I'm based in the UK but I can do the training in lots of different places. Is one place to get certification regarded better than another?
Hello, personally don’t think it matters as this is more of a professional qualification. If you’re job hunting in the future people reading your cv will acknowledge the qualification not where you got it from.
This is slightly different from uni where I think some employees judge the uni itself but that’s only in the early stages of your career once you’re experienced they’re more interested in where you’ve worked, what projects you’ve worked on, etc.

@@TheProjectManagementCoach I work at a town council in the UK and I am looking to progress. I am interested in developing so many skills but quite a lot of what I am involved in is project work. I have heard a lot about PRINCE2 and so I thought it would be really beneficial to learn and also to add to my CV.
INFP Bubble I would stick with PMP since you are in town council and not waste your precious time/money into something you don’t really need. Making money is what we are all after at some point and that’s all directly related to actual practice/experience, sales and maarketing
