I went with this humidifier for the no filter, light and essential oil option. The light is a soft glow, perfect for nighttime feedings but isn't too bright that you can't sleep through (there is an off option too.) But the first night of use, I noticed a difference not only in my DD's breathing, but my own as well. Neither of us were congested. The sound is quieter than our space heater, and with her white noise machine, you can't even hear its soft hum. I haven't tried the oil option yet, waiting for a sleep blend to ship. Definitely a key piece for us to survive the nights.
