The details of the movie that got me off guard is the fact that some violent parts are replaced with fake red painted paper. Really unique!
Yea that got me laughing

You're telling me nobody wants to hire the guy who broke the laws of reality and created a cardboard dimension? Damn, standards are getting way to high.
He didn’t have college experience that’s why😂
They also wanted at least 3-5 years of experience breaking the laws of physics for the Entry Level job. He just started doing this.
Also minimum education qualification is a Ph.D.
Not to hire him, to capture him
he is a warlock, warlocks and witches don't create anything useful. They just make curses, eats children and causes corn to rot
Finally I witnessed the death of a cameraman on TH-cam. Yet before dying he heroically saved his camera. Massive Respect.
He only died cause once he let go of the camera he stopped being the camera man.

@@ReviewRecapped what
Yup
That's what I love, turning simple fun things into nightmares that needs a lot of imagination
No its a dream
When people adapt childishly creative thoughts into actual stories and movies, that is really cool
Is there any explanation on how he accomplished that? That's amazing on its own.
yeah.
@@Mi_Fa_VolareI think it's from some kind of dark magic!
As for how he found it, maybe he looked it up on the internet!
The craziest thing about this, is not the cardboard maze, but the fact that this man’s wife stayed with him despite being a 30 year old unemployed manchild. Is that true love?
They weren't originally married
yeah and thats not at all surprising or crazy
Maybe?
I mean, I will support my wife if her hobby is to make origami
@@MattDoesNothing just make origami? Not like make a business around the skills that are used in making origami. Having a hobby is one thing, but if you having nothing "aka dude in the show" but a cardboard maze. You're one or two steps short from getting thrown in the loony.
Moral: Never make things complicated such as a maze with obstacles and traps, otherwise you will wind up the same path as Dave.
True
And will have to live with a cardboard hand
It expanded on its own too without his doing
well there goes my evening plan
dang it another impossibly difficult moral to live by

You still failed to finish.

The producer must have been really happy. Even if the movie only made a couple of dollars it would still be a hit. The budget was only 25 cents
The budget was over 500k and it didnt even make 35k...

One of my absolute favourite movies. The set is just so lovingly crafted
Please, what's the name of it? I want to watch it! Thanx
@@susie154 it’s literally in massive text on the bottom of the screen throughout the entire video
@@susie154 "Dave made a maze" is the name of the movie!
I watched this at random, didn't regret it even during the puppet parts
7:26 “oh gosh” killed me 😂
😂
so wheres the child
while i was watching this i just thought: why not just tie a string around yourself, find dave, then bring him back using the same string😭
Their path to find him wasn’t even that complex, and each room was very distinct. They could just… use their memory
I've seen movies like that were the sting gets cut anyways
the minotaur would cut it
that's the way the Labyrinth of the real Minotaur was solved irl according to mythology
Well wasn’t the entrance like sealed or something?
I've seen this movie while scrolling through TH-cam Shorts and never got to see the full one, your a life saver because I was about to waste my 7 hours searching for the movie recap.
Respect to the Cameraman😥 very brave saving the camera
Annie refuses to let him come. I love your sense of humour. 😆
Cum
I thought I was the only one who caught that
I thought it was cum 💀
The fact that he said it 3 times😅
Your sense of humor is broke lmao

Yeah right 🤣
I think it meant “His inner child”
Watched this film a few years ago looking for films that were different from the standard film. Didn't disappoint and the runtime is pretty short as well.
I was expecting the dead people to recover when the maze was destroyed.
I like how they cleverly sold us the worst visual effects and props ever in a witty way
Marvellous!!
😂😂
6:46 he turns him self in to a cardboard puppet funniest shit l ever seen

Gordon is like that friend you tell, “Don’t tell anyone,” and does the exact opposite. 🤡
This is something out of an SCP Foundation site article. They already have an article about a cardboard monster...
More like Literally Backrooms. Don't exactly know what came first though.

It's dimensionally transcendental, like a TARDIS
finally!
I'm surprised that it took like 20 comments down to reach someone saying that it's a tardis, cuz it is like come on
The fact that some violent scenes in the film have fake red painted paper in their place caught me off surprise. actually unusual

you literally can't get any better than mystery recapped!
Who ever work on this project, especially the director probably have a lot of fun filming this.
i absolutely love the narrators humor
I'm probably the only one but "Jane" has the same actress as Penelope from Criminal Minds
This movie is basically what kids feel like when they make a pillow or cardboard fort
I have respect for you cause you watch some weird movies to give us a recap 😂
puppet part had me dying 😆
I love random movies like this
Never heard of this, but even after Adam's thorough recap (Bobby Trap/Boobies/whatever), I still want to see it.
I gotta watch this now 💯 dope review bro
Wasn't this a Joe Hill story? I remember a short story something like this, making a maze from cardboard boxes in the house and getting lost forever inside.
"Voluntary Committal" by Joe Hill. Good catch.
I thought I recognized the story.

i love the creativity of the set pieces..all the cardboard stuff is really cool...might be a b movie and what not still gets an A+ for creativity and originality :)....so thank you filmmakers keep it coming!!
This is the type of movie I want to watch
All of it is perfect
And so Annie begins to shake the castle when all of the sudden- IM BOUT TO KAAAAMMM
Wow. This was fantastic.
This looks awesome!
This reminds me of a book I read in school. It was a graphic novel named: Cardboard
That may have been the inspiration for this.
finally I was waiting for someone to do this.
I love your vids ❤
You're a good narrator with humor
"OH gosh" HAHA love the little adlibs
New Fear Unlocked: Cardboard
Why do I recognize this story even though I've never seen this movie.
There was a story like this one made into a short horror movie on TH-cam a few years ago. The guy made a carboard maze for his cats, ended up inside of it, and it was like a living creature that was trying to eat him. Like being in somethings throat. Maybe you've seen that?
Gonna have kids scared shitless after building a fort 😂
good job.👍
Did anyone notice
But he used the "come" phrase 3 times😅
Dave has Reality powers 💀
Dave will never try anything new again after this
This movie was defs one of my favourites!
Imagine making a maze to have fun with your child and randomly gets trapped in it and have friends DIE
I love this recap

Amazing movie
This was a wild one
ok this is so funny cos i'm addicted to watching cardboard craft tutorials on yt and they make the most intricate houses and boats and stuff lmaoo but dave was on another level with the interior design. the exterior though is v lacking
are they good?

Camera man never dies!!!!!!
Why is, there a homeless man in the house

I actually watched this movie… and it was one of those… do I like it or do I hate it? And honestly, it was just weird and different so I’m still not sure. I would not watch it again but I’m on recap and yes I just watched the whole vid. So mystery recap really deserves credit for making almost anything sound like a good movie/series!
