Without a shadow of a doubt, this has got to be the best ever movie recap I've seen. No annoyingly loud music, no obnoxious google text to speech and the narrator feels like they're actually telling a story not just robotically reading off a script, great job!!
I'm sure plenty of these looper series exist, however I like small details of this one. I like how after the two are stabbed to death they actually treat that death with more gravity, because they were fully aware that they died in that one, feeling themselves slowly slipping away, as opposed to the instantaneous deaths of the explosion. I also like the small detail how the one guy gets into the loop because she keeps taking him off he bus ... I am sure if they managed to get Lou off over and over he'd remember as well, but its difficult to get him off the bus easily. Also like how when the man actually kills the bomber, he actually reacts appropriately. It doesn't matter if its a loop, he killed a woman and he will remember doing that going forward, even if no one else will. Like I said, small details that gave this premise some flavor.

There are some types of bombs where whenever if the bomber connects the bomb to the phone and the phone gets a message or call, the bomb will automatically go off, one this was done in a new years parade, fortunately, while the bomber was on their way, in a not so crowded area, someone sent her a "happy new yearssssss" text and the bomb immediately exploded before getting to the parade. I love Time Loops, they are a regular staple of science fiction but as this show illustrates they also exist outside science fiction. Time loops show us how our reality is governed by a series of events, some of them are a result of the choices we make as individuals and others are totally outside our control. It's interesting to speculate how an existing timeline might be altered by making different choices or trying to alter some of the other variables that led to end of the timeline. In many time loops the protagonist is trying to alter fate, trying to undo the untimely death of other people or themselves or even the end of human civilization. In many cases the protagonist attempts to change the outcome by altering certain personal decisions they make only to find that this doesn't work which usually leds to the protagonist to focus on trying to affect the actions of other people but persuading people to change their decisions is difficult when you can't explain why they should do so. Often time loops can't be broken without the help of at least one other person and even then only when a set number of key events occur in the right order. This seems to illustrate how significant events like a death or a disaster or the outbreak of a nuclear war are the result of a complex series of events and choices made by many individuals and as such changing a few things wouldn't necessarily change the end result. Maybe it's just the Geek in me, but I never get tired of Time loops and whether it's Ground Hogs Day, or a time loop in Star Trek or Star Gate, or Dark Matter or Stein's Gate or Live Die Repeat, or Reset for that matter, I think they are all great!
This is similar to an American film where the protagonist soldier die in a bus explosion and loops back again and again until the ending where he saved the woman and they lived in an alternate reality
Except they never explained the loop, how the police never found about the post, or why the police who's always been suspicious of everything the two did just let go of them after questioning why they have his number

the reason the characters in this series that arent in the time loop are able to touch us in such a profound way is because due to the time loop, we can see what people really think, without the constant doubt that maybe they are just being nice to uphold their own image. for example at 18:00 we see the man's true thoughts on his family with no possible filter to cast doubts on what he is saying in our minds. we kind of have the omniprescience that a theoretical god would have. the ability to see another person's true self.

I'm a tad bit surprised they permitted this show to be produced in China. I don’t know if they lifted the ban on time travel films/shows, but I know China had at one point banned shows about time travel. Perhaps since this show was in a closed loop, where it’s not going back into the distant past, they got a pass on the time travel ban. Overall, interesting plot.
The time travel ban is really just about respecting the historical record of the Chinese nation/culture. Since this series is in the present day, is purely fictional, and they only ever travel a day or so into the past at most, it's not really considered a problem.
I found it hard to believe why the police would suspect her of any wrongdoing when they believed the whole thing was an accident. Also found it scary how they knew the names of every passenger who took that bus and easily tracked her down to the hospital within such a short time. The mass surveillance was frightening.

If there is only 1 Chinese Drama u ever want to try, watch this one!! 10 out of 10 for sure!!!
The idea for this is cool. it's like a mix of the standard 'timeloop' concept but with a bleed-effect of memory and others being pulled into it as well in a contagion-ish way. And then add in some Final Destination with how deadly the aftermath is still for them even if they get 'past' a hurdle, so to speak.
I never watch recaps. This one was shown to me by chance after the one I was watching finished. But it's sooo great! If a number is with the explosive, and now knows he's been caught, obviously they are going to set it off, preferring not to get caught, which is why you don't shout out there is a bomber. Better to let person in charge know safely, then scaring the bomber into setting it off.

Lol... basically. Its speed but they fail so badly that they need unlimited lives. If they had Keanu they could have solved all this in one run with a fair bit of property destruction.
Groundhog Day.
Groundhog Day 2: The Source Code.
Groundhog Day 3: Edge of Tomorrow.
Groundhog Day 4: Scream(Happy Death Day).
Groundhog Day 4: Speed(Reset).

Yup
I'm a tad bit surprised they permitted this show to be produced in China. I don’t know if they lifted the ban on time travel films/shows, but I know China had at one point banned shows about time travel. Perhaps since this show was in a closed loop, where it’s not going back into the distant past, they got a pass on the time travel ban. Overall, interesting plot.
The time travel ban is really just about respecting the historical record of the Chinese nation/culture. Since this series is in the present day, is purely fictional, and they only ever travel a day or so into the past at most, it's not really considered a problem.
it was only allowed because it depicted the police as being competent
1:50 bro really asked a girl with a concussion why she got off the bus and got suspicious when she couldn't answer well
The least believable thing is that she sits down next to the sleeping guy when there are so many empty rows of seats
Watch the complete series, she gets on the bus when it's packed and wakes up when almost everybody is gone.
I found it hard to believe why the police would suspect her of any wrongdoing when they believed the whole thing was an accident. Also found it scary how they knew the names of every passenger who took that bus and easily tracked her down to the hospital within such a short time. The mass surveillance was frightening.
@@ashIibabbitt1111 I mean it is China and the show was likely made in 2019-2022 where China already was rolling out its massive surveillance program.
@@ashIibabbitt1111 Calling traffic cameras mass surveillance is stupid. You will know the names of mass shooters in no time I don't think you have any issue in that.
@@fuzzyhenry2048traffic cameras with facial recognition absolutely is mass surveillance. Allows the government to know where people are at all times. Go lick some more boots
woah I didn't expect a Chinese series to have that much reach and audience, and get covered by a movie recap channel
thanks for this
Made me sad to think the guy was dying with a kitten every time :(
You're the best movie reviewer I have every seen, you are CRIMINALLY underrated, if I was blind I would have been able to picture the entire movie perfectly, your voice is perfectly clear and soothing, the script felt like it had months or years of effort put into it, no annoying music or text to speech, MAD props.
oh, thank you very much) My second channel SeriesCut - You're welcome )
I wouldn't have discovered and finished this amazing plot if not for this channel, it turned a whole series into a bite-size short movie lengthed video, bravo 👏👏
Best recap I have ever seen.
Concise and nothing over the top.
:)
Thank you so much)
As the 2 teens, ask the cops a question, tell me something that no one knows about you. Something that would make you believe us about the loop. They come back tell the cop the story and they just believe due to there is no way anyone could know the answer.
for once, i actually enjoyed a recap of a movie/series and for once, it doesn't weirdly "censor" the name in the description
and also, the ending was actually a refresher for me, because every "happy ending" was repetetive and samey, but not this time
In the US at least this is considered a "derivative work" and is protected by copyrigh hence creators hiding it.
THANK YOU FOR NOT USING AN ANNOYING AI VOICE 😭
You got my sub, this is the 2nd recap im watching of your and its amazing! No AI voice, no fillers, straight to the story. Thanks
thank you
one of the best recaps ever the person recapping accually took time to do this and didnt rush through it , he also didnt make sex jokes
So recappers make sexual jokes? I never knew🤨
probably one of the best shows out there, recapped by an absolutely amazing channel, both of which i'm completely new to
This is a really good series actually. Like a cross between Groundhog Day and Speed.
I would say theres a pinch of 24 in it as well.
source code
and the opening scene of final destination
Source code maybe
its just the antagonist of jojo part 4's (Yoshikage Kira) BITES THE DUST ability. Not clever or original. Just stealing peak japanese media
But Zhao and Li will forever be traumatized. Like it's not easy to recover from that. It's very tragic. So much ptsd. I also admire the cinematography.
This is amazing. Especially because no AI. I don't like watching no series that could've been just 1 movie or maybe 1 movie and a sequel. You, sir are amazing and your quality is that of a 2 million subscriber channel. Keep going brother, 50k more until 100k! You earned a subscriber.
This was so interesting and entertaining the way you quickly talk about the episodes without losing the plot is crazy and I applaud you my good sir
Making the detective believe you could be easy by just telling him you'll tell the full story if he tells you one personal thing about himself that only he knows.
screaming "There's a bomb on the bus! Everyone get off!" was a good idea.
This drama is without a doubt a very brilliant drama with a plot that keeps you on edge throughout. They have literally the same shot but in million different ways that I had my heart in throat all the goddamn time. The young couple was brilliant and also the Police captain was just like the real deal. Casting, script, cinematography, locations every single thing is brilliant and so captivating. Underated drama because you don't have a damsel cinderella to be saved by a rich CEO. But holy shit if it's not a roller-coaster. Love the drama. Go watch it ❤
I have watched this series n trust me, its 1 of the best time loop thrillers i have ever watched in my life, the storytelling was top notch with all its reveals at each episode, making this 26 episode series feels longer than it did; not because it was draggy but because each episode was chock full of details that got u invested right till the end. If there is only 1 Chinese Drama u ever want to try, watch this one!! 10 out of 10 for sure!!!
I recommend stall from omelets a good one too 😊
do you mean corner with love?@@timmy2670
I’m going to play a drinking game to this one… every time you say “and the bus blows up” we have to take a shot. I’ll send you the hospital bill 😂
Good recap. Well done! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty sure this is script was just taken from another channel and read through a different voice sim. Ta-da. "quality"
It was captivating to watch, the narration is superb, the scenes taken from the show make the impression of being a real film! Surprisingly, after having watched this recap I actually want to see the whole TV series! 😍
Thanks so much for this incredible work!!
If a number is with the explosive, and now knows he's been caught, obviously they are going to set it off, preferring not to get caught, which is why you don't shout out there is a bomber. Better to let person in charge know safely, then scaring the bomber into setting it off.
22:44 THERE'S A KAZUHA COSPLAYER OH MY GODDDDD
i just love the apartment of the masked man. He is a man of culture. Tons of manga , anime figs and many more weeb stuff
One of the best movie recaps i've ever seen. Keep it up my guy.
Appreciate that
drinking challenge: take a shot every time he says "and the bus blows up"
for real though, extremely well done video, with no awkward ai voice edit and no loud ass music to boot.
My immediate Thought was "Speed" meets "Source Code".
I enjoyed this because most time-travel stories really suck. This one had me on the edge of my seat.
This is giving off heavy Erased vibes and that is far from a bad thing
"And Wang sees [the touchy feely guy] in the same prison."
Oh boy, he's in for a treat.
No, they did not die 2,345 times, they die about 22 times.

When you're stuck in a time loop but the bus driver is on your side, you better hope they've got some Fast and Furious skills to break the cycle
Amazing summary, i watch all the episodes when it was first released. It was cool concept that have not been seen in quite while about loops. Great job!
Won’t lie the effort you put into this is insane mad respect
As someone who couldn’t have sat through this series because it’s just too much repetition lol thank you! This channel is my new Netflix now 😂 quick, efficient, and to the point ❤
Fantastic! Thank you so much. After a long day, I really needed something to watch that wasn't too long or boring. You kept me glued to the screen. Thank you!! 😊
the warden to the angry father prisoner: " The molester got 3 years with us, you have life. So you only have 3 years to do whatever you want to him, your choice, slow or fast, up to you, we don't see anything"
6/10/23 ( Friday ) 11.14 am. Stumbled upon this video. Realized it was a drama that I watched last year but was somehow denied viewing after 2 or 3 episodes. So thank you for closing the "loop".
I haven’t binged watched in a while then I found this yesterday. Only watched maybe less than a minute of it then immediately searched for the series. I was skeptical because I thought 15 episodes are too long for a time loop series. But then I just couldn’t stop watching until the end 😂. Also the first time I avoided reading synopsis and spoilers (and I’m usually okay with spoilers).
I did the exact same thing too!!I just finished the series and finally came back to the comments to see if people liked it. I enjoyed every minute of it ☺️
Fabulous recap! No unnecessary details in the script! I’m subscribing 😊
Liked… subscribed… hit the bell… and added a comment for good measure. You told this recap so well that 15 minutes in… I paused it to see if I could find it to watch. I couldn’t and resumed your video. Well done… I enjoyed this immensely.
Awesome, thank you!
This was the most epic recap. Thank you for posting!
The best series EVER! I am so thankful that this video brought this show to my attention! Thanks so much, FilmCrop!
Dude, thank you for this. This is incredible work! I was never bored, I felt completely immersed, I germinal enjoyed this SO MUCH more than I would have actually watching the series! I didn’t get bored, I was laser focused the ENTIRE time, which for me is insane because I can’t watch acting without my brain being so bored I have to do something else at the same time….. Please keep doing these, I will watch everything lol thank you!!
great recap, coherent and well paced and the voice isnt annoying
I do love this kind of recap kudos to those people behind the channel keep up the good work, y'all deserve a subscribe.
The most unrealistic part of this movie is sitting next to a stranger when there are many empty seats
I think that before it was full but after when li is panicked around that time the stop before that the people already left
Love these time loop movie's.. this has that Russian Doll vibe. Thanks for posting 👍🏻
one loose end: why did the police head have the same ringtone?
I saw your video for the first time and believe me, Your recap explanation was so detailed that without having any glimpse of the series I got to know it so well. Hats off to your story telling skills.
This was a solid tear down. Thank you for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is honestly a beautiful series and I'm glad I watched this video about it! Keep up the good synopses dude!
Plot twist: the bomber took the wrong bus and wasn't supposed to be on the bus with them
This was bittersweet but a heart warming story..
Yes Reimu...
Why are you here in China, outside of Gensokyo...
This video made me watch reset2022 I recommend it its one of my top series now
awesome story. I wanna watch this series now. this video hasn't ruined the story for me at all, only makes me want to watch it more.
Damn. Hollywood could learn from the messages in this film. It seems well done.
Glad i came across this recap. My anxiety is shooting up just from this recap. What if i had to watch the whole series?! 😂
I watched the series, it is awesome. I loved the guy with the secret kitten 😊
i love movie/series recaps like this because im a person that cant take too stressful or emotional content, i dont go watch movies ever and even youtube videos can trigger that..
therefore, having the plot read to me without all the music and emotion and tension is perfect cause i enjoy the story and stuff you get what i mean
i also play genshin impact (its a good game trust me) and its not rare that i have to just put it down and go cry
this the only recap out of all the recaps i've ever watched. i don't know why or what part of the narration or editing is so good, but i like it. you should keep making good videos like this :p
love it. i would have lost my mind actually watching the whole series!
nice and wholesome ending
and didnt stop at a cliffhanger like countless others
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST RECAP OF ALL TIME
oh, thank you very much)
You are incredible! The REAL voiceover makes these top tier. This channel is going places
13:25 - MISSED OPPORTUNITY
Catman>>I know of this comic book that explains this situation
Catman finds the comic book and explains how the looping works in the comic
Catman>>If I don't loop woth you, just tell me about my stuff, this comic book, as a password to bring me into the loop. I'll recognize the issue and go along with it
14:05 - close enough. kk Good show. Real good.
Wow. This was actually a good series. I think I'll watch it sometime.
