- Due to a traffic jam, a bus driver suggests to his passengers to take a shortcut through a tunnel. But it doesn't take long and they realize that time works strangely in the tunnel. The group is constantly hungry and the food spoils quickly.

Modulator Mysterious !! Nowadays, This is the new normal. That's because time is more precious than money. Most People prefer watching the entire movie, the story and the thrill in 10-15 minutes rather than wasting their 1 and half hour watching the entire movie and this is the best platform for such people and also, not every scene would be full of exciting, there will be plenty of conversation scenes in between and romance and all. I know that for movie lovers, watching the entire movie is more exciting than this but just think logically, in this busy and hectic life, not everyone has enough time to watch a 1 and half hour movie.

The bus getting older and older was fine for legit time travel but the Psychedelic tunnel and fairy lights gave away it wasnt just time travel.

reminds me of the movie "Identity". The movie had a bunch of random people including a couple and their son stranded at a hotel during a storm. A serial killer is killing them off one by one. turns out with one of them left, this was all a dream of sorts. a serial killer with split personalities is having therapy where through the sessions has him mentally put all personalities in one location and kill them till one personality is left and hopefully not be the killer personality. the one left wasnt the killer but twist, the one we least expected to be the killer personality is revealed to still be alive and "Kills them" leaving that personality left

I find it quite interesting how all the comments seam to miss the basic moral of the story. This was a story of a hero who after facing the bad man's dark side had to then face his own. Given a choice in the end sacrificed his own life and everything in it to in the end save two people. A story of a true hero.

Well y'all are correct. Chien is a changed man. He imprisoned himself in his subconscious mind during coma. It was mentioned that he's as evil as the serial killer. If he had not been in a comma, in real life he would've turn himself in for his crimes and probably get life in prison or death sentence. This way he really save his wife's life because he doesn't hurt her for not knowing the truth about his dark side.

This is like saying every sorcerer or wizard movies after Harry Potter is stealing HP's original plot, or that superhero movies stole ideas from each other. If you still want to tie them together, just say that everything new has at least been inspired from everything else preceding before them. Nothing exists anew without a previous example.
Edit: other comments also mentioned that it's similar to Identity, or a mix of both Identity and The Cell. So nope it's its own movie with just the same mind game concepts.
Meh it was very much "The Cell" meets "Identity" so nothing top notch about copy pasting two movies.
This movie reminds me of The Cell, where a psychologist enters into a serial killer's subconscious and also encounters various personalities that are part of the killer in order to find a missing woman

Wasn't this pretty much the plot to The Cell with J Lo? I got hooked with the endless tunnel mystery in the beginning but I would've preferred they kept going that route.

That knitting comment is a no go it is actually a very useful hobby as you can make clothing blanks toys and much more. I just finished my first blanket and let me say gaining warmth from someone you created is a great feeling.
My mom has been knitting and crocheting for decades. Each grandbaby has a blanket and now the great grands have em too 😍 they quickly became their favorite blankets

This was an interesting movie (I'm guessing it was a movie idk) I would definitely watch a psychological thriller like this over a horror movie because this is much scarier than a fake horror show. It shows how the mind can break apart.This could happen. Thumbs up!!

The Producers of this film must have genuinely enjoyed Tarsem Singh's The Cell (2000) and James Mangold's Identity (2003). But instead of remaking them, the filmmakers decided to go one step further and create a mash-up of the two stories.
Indeed, the plot line where the authorities are on a race to find a kidnap victim. Thus, they use specialized tech to penetrate the subconscious mind of a brain-injured villain. This was the crucial element of Mark Protosevich's screenplay for The Cell.
As for the part of the tale involving an ensemble of lost individuals, this was the central element of Identity. The only difference is that in Michael Cooney's script, the group of strangers was located in a desolate motel in the middle of nowhere. But, in both films, an unseen killer was liquidating the group one by one.
The big reveal in all these films is that the action is taking place in the mind of a Serial killer. And you only thought Hollywood had a bad habit of recycling old movies. Apparently, this is a worldwide phenomenon, and that is sad.
And there is one more thing. Although I do not blame Mystery Recap for this, they must have seen a dubbed version of this movie. Because he had referred to some characters by Western names.
However, if you watch the film in the original Mandarin, all the characters have Chinese names.

That was an interesting plot. Definitely not what I expected.
This film seems like a combination of the film 'The Cell' with Jennifer Lopez and 'Identity' with John Cusack. There's even a woman in both 'The Cell' and 'Endless Loop' who's at risk of drowning, and saving her life is the main motivation of the central characters in both films.

Both said movies are pretty good so maybe they made this one even better, I'll watch it if I can find it.
