I've been playing PXG since 2021 and the black ops is by far the best driver they have ever put out. I put a 15 gram in the back and I miss very few fairways with good distance. I love this driver its the best I've played in the last 15 years.
Black-Ops models are both really such great heads! Did the added back-weight help you get it over 10K MOI? What specs did you end up in your Black Ops?
I like how it looks down at the ball on video. I need to see it in person but for my eye it looks like it’s very easy for me to square it up. It’s subjective as all looks are
I found similar results with the tour-1 model. It actually spun more than the original. But I also saw more ball speed with the original too. I'm looking forward to getting mine in a few days. Who knew PXG would finally make an amazing driver.
You’re just striping your drives here omg. Good review. I think a previous commenter here mentioned being fit at PXG. I have a few rounds in w my Black Ops and I will say for me it’s been the lowest spinning driver I’ve ever owned. I also will say I spent about an hour at PXG being fit w multiple weights and shafts. Not sure if you did in fact have this done. That’s 1/2 of the deal when buying PXG. Good stuff here. 👍🏻

Would be interesting with a 12 gram weight in the back or maybe more to get the launch with the low spin
Idk why you thought you’d get comparable/better strikes/numbers when you’re using a completely different shaft in the PXG 🙄

There are limits in terms of face hotness, but OEM’s still work to improve off-center ball speed retention, aerodynamics, forgiveness, etc. 👍
