That last win was actually mathematically guaranteed once your opponent passed the turn to you. Pikachu ex could've only survived two hits, Helioptile could've only survived one, and their other two Pokemon were too damaged to survive a hit. Even in the best case scenario (2 hits on Pikachu ex and 1 on Helioptile), there would still be one extra hit, meaning one of their Pokemon was guaranteed to be knocked out. They could have used a potion on Zebstrika on their turn in order to have a small chance at survival, but once they passed to you it was guaranteed.
Yea im seeing a ton of pretty terrible deck ideas but at least their interesting to watch. I actually run a coin flip pokemon in my deck but... it's jolteon which is 1 electric 1 colourless and flip FOUR coins and deal 40 dmg for each. The probability of that 1 actually doing nothing and throwing the game is much lower lol with an avg of 80 dmg for only 2 energy its a sekrit powerhouse imo. The fossil "tech" always confused me honestly, i understand its 0 cost retreat but i run xspeed instead and if they pull in my dratini/dragonair while im powering up i just x speed to bench it again... and it doubles up as something useful later if i do get a chance to retreat my active pokemon
I had this same problem and then I started flipping it slower and letting my finger off the screen just before the halfway point. Now I get heads every time.
Last match was such a hilariously fun match. Never had an Aerodactyl put me on the edge of my seat before. Finally benching Vulpix so it could be slapped silly with a Draco Meteor was brutal! Still having nightmares of Aerodactyl. Loved the viewer matches, and battling other community members while watching stream. Pretty sweet format!
Aerodactyl and Victreebell are an insane combo. Aero forces a ton of base pokemon to be put into play which Victreebell can use to get an easy pick with its ability since a lot of base pokemon are under 60hp. I couldn’t find a good way round deal with certain decks and I think aero, executor, and Victreebell would be a great way to shut some of them down. As far as dragonites best partner, it’s zebstrika. Dragonites weakness is not being able to target a specific enemy when you need to, zebstrika shuts that down. Also having one on your bench forces enemies to play into the possibility of you picking off an enemy that got hit on the bench. To make it nasty, a Greninja on the bench would make nobody safe. Your other options are frosmoth and bruxish. Bruxish is a great base stage pokemon with good late game power after your dragonite gets a Draco meteor off and also an insane revenge killer since you can swap it in when it’s boosted. But bruxish and Greninja also pairs well in the late stage. It struggles against a Pikachu ex deck, but frosmoth might help give you an rng chance to win against them at least.
Yeah zeb is nice for getting pokes to have HP in the 50 range so one draco meteor hit kills too. Since one issue with meteor is even if it can deal 200 it can't kill 3 pokes totaling say 190 if their HP is 60, 60, 70.
Running Greninja and Dragonite in a deck together sounds fun on paper, but having 2 full evo lines in one deck is just asking to brick your hand. Zebstrika is a better option but it doesn't do much to actually stall the game long enough to get Dragonite online. Frosmoth is still probably Dragonite's best partner solely because you can power it up with misty letting you focus giving all your energy to Dragonite on the bench while Frosmoth sleep stalls the opponent. Generally speaking if you can get 2 draco meteors off in a game, that's almost always a win so the most important thing is to survive long enough for that to happen and make it as consistent as possible. 14:26 there's a pretty cool deck that uses Victreebel and Pidgeot by Loopy Fist with Aerodactyl. The idea is to shuffle stuff in with Aerodactyl then when the opponent is slowly playing out the basic pokemon again Victreebel pulls them into the active spot and KOs them quickly since 60 attack can KO most basic pokemon in 1 or 2 hits and there's no swapping basics away from it
I've been running Dnite alongside Articuno EX paired with Misty. I usually just use Art for stall and I never really ever give it energy unless it's from Misty. Art holds the line until Dnite is online and I also get the luxury of turn 1 wins with a good Art Misty flip.
I can't wait until they print Victini in this game and give it the second coin toss effect for Aerodactyl. I usually run Greninja in my Dragonite deck because he’s low energy cost, and can ping anyone for 20 damage, giving you better odds to KO more of your opponents Pokémon (i.e. lowering a Pokémon’s HP enough to require one less draco meteor hit to KO them)
I like Meowth over Kangaskhan, I find the biggest problem with the deck is finding pieces like Amber and evos for Dratini. Meowth helps with that amazingly.

I had no issues with my premium pass moving over. I had linked my account to my Nintendo account when I was on the NZ side and came back to US at launch just fine. Store converted back to USD and premium pass is currently running fine.
Another reason for fossils is that you are forcing a dratini or kangaskhan into your opening hand due to how pocket works. The idea of this deck is to always consistently pull dratini early and build it up in four turns from drawing it
Much prefer mine. Double Meowth to speed things up with draw, onex the moth and level 2 sleeping moth card. Draw early speeds up dragonite so much vs this deck where you risk having an early dragon in active slot taking hits early

I love pidgeot dnite and pidgeotto is a decent tank that can hit for 30 if you go first but with 2 evo lines you are just gonna brick some amount of times and redcard might ruin your day. We need some way to find evolutions in the next set and this deck might become quite good I think

It's probably sheer coincidence, but about 85% to 90% of the time I wonderpick, the card I want is always either on the Bottom right or top Right.
I've been enjoying Greninja + Dragonite a lot, although as you can assume, it's a bit hard to get going
Is this where the Corey cowboys and content cowboys meet up?
Not sure if it has been covered, but Gengar EX + Jynx has been slapping for me. Relatively low energy cost for tons of damage as long as you can get Gengar set and have Jynx full as a swap in when gengar is threatened
@@shrikes5280 i'll try it out. I've been looking for a good gengar deck, but its hard.
I just got that full art Sabrina Card with 3 full art Lapras and 1 full art gloom... all in the same pack... 😮
Are you able to make a guide on how to clear masters solo battles and clear all the missions?
Except my bad luck on throwing coins,This is very fun.
Now I want to build this deck, lol
Hello spragels, if you read this: Your Poster with all the regions (i assume its all but you can only see Hoenn and Sinnoh) looks really awesome. Do you know where you bought it? I am thinking about getting the same one. Thanks in advance and keep up the great content !
I've found sprinkling in snorlax and chanseys instead of just relying on the fossil Mon. Also I lose the flip every time 😂
Apology with tears 20:44 was a guarenteed win 😂
I had the idea of using jolteon and vaporeon with dragonite since I figured that would be neat, but holy hell does it suck. Having split evos with such a deck size just doesn’t work.
I swear the coinflips are clearly on some kind of probability agorythm and not an actual 50/50 coinflip. Some of the chains i've seen are wildly unlikely.
It’s wild af, my luck can’t be this bad 😭
I tried weezing and dragonite combo its kinda fun paired it with that weezing card xd
Spragels, there will be promo packs in pokemon tcg pocket. (If you don't belive me then find bulbasaur click on it then scroll down and find full art bulbasaur with a mark click it and scroll down and find how to get).
They should definitely change how you get multi energies id love to see a choice system maybe every other turn you can decide what energy you wanna get for the next 2 rounds just something to make it play smoother
Also loving the content used to watch you back on unite but stopped playing loving this new game tho
I havent played pokemon card game since i was little. This game is pretty fun im gunna be f2p so im running ice/water deck its good enough just need more ways to gain xp. Didnt expect this game to be alot of chance tho alot of games are wom by coin flips
ive been using lapras. mostly just because that allows 2 additional support cards, usually misty. Misty doesnt work on dragonite line, but can super power lapras and also help energy fix games where youre getting too much electric energy
Dragonite line also doesn't count towards electric types for Pikachu EX... Why tho😢
@@soulance8342 seriously. if it uses the energy, then type cards should apply to it
victorybell pairs well with areodactyl I've seen a few decks run stall with sabrina and also pidgey would work well
Hi, I’m new to Pokémon. When is early, mid and late game exactly? I’m still learning the tempo of this game
Going for Aero flip when you had the guaranteed win was just asking for a Tails 😭
Hey, I was wondering how do you capture your mobile game play for streams? If its a capture card, what kind?? I was looking to get one but I don't know which one!
Do we know when they're planning on implementing trading?
I just faced someone with a deck like this. I wanted to just give up. The match took so long that it ended up in a draw, lol. The other player in my case had two aerodactyls 😅
You can try it with pidgeot, i think it’s better bc you can swap your opp active pokemon every turn and stall this way
I love pidgeot dnite and pidgeotto is a decent tank that can hit for 30 if you go first but with 2 evo lines you are just gonna brick some amount of times and redcard might ruin your day. We need some way to find evolutions in the next set and this deck might become quite good I think
Id swap out Kang and somthing else for Meowth + Persian for more opportunities to screw with your opponent
Me personally I like tryna maximise luck potential so I have two mistycunos too so that I have a backup plan for damage potential since khan is too inconsistent to rely on
Btw how to get those gardevior accessories?
How does Giovanni work with dragonite
@@Anthony-qq2xm it doesn't , his attack does flat damage per effect. Giovanni boost normal attack damage (you can know that on the name of the attack when you use it, if the number appears there it will be boosted)
I've been using frostmoth with Dragonite since I don't have many cards.
Aerodactyl is so stupid fun
Aerodactyl paired with Greninja maybe??
Swap Aero and Kang for Double Weezing....wink wink
I have everything, accept aerodactyl. How would I get the card?
i play dragonite with articuno paralysis and psyduck or frosmoth just buy some time to power up D with special effects lol
Damn. Guess im staying on the beginner battle mode lol
Lmao! that was mad
I like to pair zebstrika with draconite so I can chip their back line or get the final ko
I know this vid is a couple weeks old but I think articuno/Zapdos isn’t bad for a stall. Misty sometimes has articuno start strong maybe even a pika ex. All work off the same energy and have high health pools. Low retreat cost except articuno ex. Meanwhile dragonite is powering up
Thanks!
Thank you!! Very kind
If Aerodactyl had 110 HP it would be suck a sick tech against Venusaur decks. it still is... 50% of times.
Aerodactyl helped me get a Tie instead of losing. My opponent got 2 points before turn 10 and I stalled with Aerodactyl and Fearow till it ended in a Tie 😂😂😂
What causes a tie? Is there a turn limit?
What it can end in a tie?!
I didn't keep track of the number of turns but i think by turn 30 if nobody reaches the target 3 battle points then it just ends as a tie.
Where do i get the potion and speed cards from
The shop (And the tutorials IIRC)
Aerodactyl was Fighting type back in the day, still probably is here and there... I wonder if they’ll add Fairy as a type soon 🤔
Fairy has been removed from the tcg, I would be highly surprised that the simplified version of Pokémon card game gets more type than the actual tcg
Fairy type has come and gone from the main TCG.
Fairy pokemon now fall under the psychic energy category as a way to "de-clutter" aspects of the game.
