I am now realizing how insanely blessed I've been my first day of playing yesterday first account no rerolls totally f2p I got gold crown Charizard IN THE MEWTWO PACKS I just wanted to try for Mewtwo I was NOT expecting to get that I didn't even know you could get crown cards since I had only seen the immersive art online since I avoided a lot about this game before it was internationally released. So glad I linked that account to my nintendo account.
Immersive cards are cooler to bait dolphins into spending, since they have a much higher chance of getting the immersive card by spending some money, rather than having to spend potentially thousands for a chance at a crown rare card.

What's the work-around for purchasing gold or the premium pass from the store? It says item is not available in my country. I usually sign in with vpn, then turn it off in game. Do I have to turn it on and sign back to a new Zealand server for purchases?

Anyone agree: Liligant is a great mon to set up Venusuar EX with its move Leaf Supply which does 50 (which is huge) it also supply’s a Pokémon of your choice a grass energy. With its staggering 100 hp it needs to be nerfed 😂

I got that crown Pikachu and a full art immersive Mewtwo on some of my first few packs, so I just assumed everyone got them. I also got that Articuno EX, and it's my favorite so far. Paired with two Greninja with they 20hp bench sniping ability, you can do 50 hp damage to anyone in the back row per turn for free. Or 120 against the active.
i got 3 black mewtwo w/o spending, opening bout 30+ packs w/o spending, then i rerolled cause i lost a lot of battles and felt bad thatll reflect on my battle record, its my first time learning and playing pokemon tcg btw, rerolled like 6x and got 2 normal mewtwo ex and 2 gardevoirs, got the gist of how my deck works and battled pretty well now
Crazy how i haven't spent a penny on this game and have all the Mewtwo cards, even the one that plays the video when you hold your finger on it. Also a bunch of ex starters and rare birds. Props to you for dropping the money, if it was for any other game I'd be doing the same, but for this 100% never spending anything. Its a card collecting game for me and only that.
I’m pretty sure the regular MewTwo and the full art or these crown cards are similar in stats and what not. I’m sure the only advantage is just having cool art to look at. So I doubt being a whale is going to help around the battling and more so with collecting art.

Only took me 2 days of Free rerolls and got the Crown Pikachu and the animated Pikachu and both of each full art EX Zapdos it's possible but yeah a lot of wasted time lol.
I did the NZ Apple account method and saw the 2-week free trial of the premium pass. Unfortunately, I couldn’t purchase it since I don’t have a card eligible for NZ purchases so I tried and changed the NZ region back to my region then purchased it. Safe to say that it worked! After that, I cancelled my subscription as soon as the purchase went through and removed the payment method. Ez free premium pass lmaooo
Just found out about this game last week. Went to download and see that the official release isn't until late october. How did one get into the soft launch? Also, I hope the cards aren't kept into the hard launch, as that makes it pretty rough for those that start on official launch. Surprised they have the shops open during soft launch

Ive been free to play on about a week of playing. i have either been extremely lucky or the game is somewhat fair. I have the best charizard card along with alot of other ful art pieces. Play the in game pvp and pve mode you get a tone of packs for free. Im sure the free packs slow down after but as for getting the game started it seems fair enough or as i said i got very lucky.
Can you tell us what packs focus on the begenning for a payer free 2 play , i want to start good in the game but i dont know if i pick charazad meuwtoo or Pikachu ? Thx
it's a card game and they aren't heavily focusing on the competitive aspect of the TCG so you can probably just pull for whichever one has the pokemon you like more. If you REALLY want to chase the meta then wait for guides I guess
Even not buying anything, you could easily open like 70 packs before anyone else in your country. NZ spenders get a big jump on the rest of the the world.
