    So here's the thing:
    1. Great work on those boards! They look really nice. Great work all around.
    2. Are those edge grain strips right in the middle of the cuttingboards? Im 95%+ certain they are, but am just double checking. In future builds I would really recommend you avoid doing that, because mixing end grain and edge grain like that is usually a one way trip to split city - the differently oriented wood will expand and contract in different directions, and that can lead to a lot of pressure building up, and something will end up giving in that battle of wills. I would love to be wrong here because your work looks so nice...but i've seen boards in situations just like that layout crack and split. So that would be something to keep an eye out for as those boards get used.

      Appreciate you took the time to write! Yes, they are edge grain. It didnt struck me doing the design. I think you are right on that one. Lets see what happens when they are put on some stress of water and heat in the kitchen.
